nothing on back of pill just an E on other side white oblong found it in a bottle with hydrocodone but it looked different from others ## I can't be completely certain, but with just an imprint of an E it is most likely just an over the counter Excedrin tablet, which contains Acetaminophen, Aspirin and Caffeine. Learn more Acetaminophen details here. Learn more Aspirin details here. Learn more Caffeine details here. That is the way they marked the tablets of their original formulation. It is not a Hydrocodone tablet, there are none with that marking. Does anyone else have a possibility that it could be? ## I take these myself that is an excedrin i know thats probably not spelled right but it isnt anything more then that.

I want to quit taking norco but I'm so scared. I've only been without them for 3 days before. Where do I start. I want my life back. ## Hi Stephanie, It's great that you want to say goodbye to pain killers, they can really do more harm than good in many cases! The best advice I can give is to make sure you're eating plenty of fruits and vegetables while staying hydrated throughout the day. This will significantly aid your body in detoxing quicker. Besides getting plenty of rest each night I'd also recommend getting at least an hour each day of exercise in to help sweat out any toxins and get your lymphatic system flowing (which will significantly aid in detoxification as well). I hope this info helps! ## Thx for the info I really appriciate it I also read about a her...

WHAT HAPPENS IF I SPLIT THE PILL IN HALF ## My doctor prescribed 60 MG tablets and told me to cut them in half if I need 90 mg. I din't think much about it, but after reading the information on MS Contin, I am worried that it may be dangerous to cut them in half. I've been doing it for about 5 days and have not noticed any problems with cutting them in half but I will call the pharmacy tomorrow and ask him. ## Is it in order to break GP1 glimepride into two to reduce the dosage to 0.50mg.Will it cause any problem and whether any reduction in effectivenes of the tablet will be possible. ## I have done it for a while to cut down, and a pharmacist said I could. No problems. But my dr got furious when I told him, and I have read on Internet now not to. But the pills I take are solid...

Is 1 to 2 tabs daily too much? Feel I need it twice daily ## Which one are you referring to? The Opana? If so, this is a very potent narcotic pain medication, containing Oxymorphone and it can be dangerous to exceed the recommended dosage prescribed by your doctor, you run the risk of overdose and causing permanent organ damage. If it is not controlling your pain, you should speak to your doctor about a dosage adjustment or possibly using a different medication. You can read more on both of these medications here: What is your current dosing schedule? ## I am prescribed OPANA ER 40 Mg 4 x daily as well as another pain med too.

Can I take 2 of norco 10/325 for my neck disc pain ( 2 levels buldging after 4 level disc surgery less that 1 yr ago ## It goes without saying that you should always check with your pain doctor before increasing your dose of hydrocodone (your Norco is 10 mg of hydro and 325 mg of Tylenol). Going straight from 10 to 20 of hydro likely will make you feel sick and dizzy. At most, split the 2nd pill in half, or thirds if possible. Tell your doc asap that the currently prescribed dose isn't working any more, but be careful about taking more and more and more. Don't find yourself 5 years from now wishing you had never started.

how often can i take morphine 15 SR in a 24 hour period ## This is the sustained release Morphine, which means the medication is released slowly over time and it is meant to be taken every 2 hours, so twice a day. Learn more Morphine details here. If it isn't handling your pain, then you may want to speak to your doctor about upping the dosage, or adding a short acting medication for breakthrough pain. Are there any other questions or comments? ## Hi maggie, I think Vernon ment to say that its taken every 12 hours not 2. I take it every 12 hours regards. Bev

My daughter has gooten a hold of some pills. They are a little larger than capsule size and shape. They are white like an aspirin with a Von one side and 35/92 on the other side. What kind of pills might these be? ## These are a generic for Vicodin, they contain 500 mgs of Acetaminophen and 5mgs of Hydrocodone, they are a narcotic pain reliever. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. You can read more on it here: Do you have any other questions? ## This is Hydrocodone pill. On the streets they call all pills with this in it vicodin. Wierd because they are just a manufacturing company. What is sad though is it very very addictive and depending on eho you are might waste your life on them. If you are young and can quit please so so now. It will suck ...

Why don't they prescribe Talacen anymore? It helped with my broken back. ## Hi Dana, I'm not finding any specific details on why it's been discontinued, but my guess is that it's because Talacen contained 650 mgs of Acetaminophen. As of 2014, the FDA passed a law saying that 325 mgs was the new maximum allowed dose to be in these types of medications. A lot of the more popular drugs like Norco and Percocet have lowered their standard dose to meet those requirements. However, if the makers of Talacen didn't want to do this, then that could be a likely reason for them to stop producing more. Has anyone else heard why it was taken off the market?

have no ins, no income, i need to know how to get assistance this medication. ## Go to www.simplefill.com. They will take care of all your paperwork and get you your prescriptions for free. I think it is $65 a month but that is it. ## There aren't many assistance programs available for pain management, unfortunately. However, a FREE organization to try is: PPARX.org Click Here ## is there any patient information booklet for patients assuming percocet for chronic pain (non oncologic desease)? ## For everyone that hasn't ran into this problem, pharmacies that just recently accepted several discount cards are no longer accepting cards for controlled substances. I was taking Watson hydrocodone acetaminophen 5mg 500,the doctor switched me to Watson 10 500 ,the white ones, but for some reason the 5s worked better than the 10s.anybody know why this is? ## Hello, Jim! How are you? No, there is nothing available to let anyone know why this is happening. It is claimed that they only removed the dye from them. Are you sure that the dosage is the same? Because as of January 1, 2014 the ones with these higher amounts of Acetaminophen are no longer available. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## I took them to 3 different pharmacies and they all said they were 10 500s,1 pharmacist said his wife was saying the same thing.I ...

Which would you say is the more powerful combatant for pain, df118 or percocets? ## Hello, Ivann! How are you? Codeine and it's immediate relatives, such as the Dihydrocodeine in this are actually very weak, so the Percocet is a stronger analgesic. The Oxycodone is 10 times stronger to be more precise. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. What is the next step up from hydrocodone 10-325.? I take 3 a day and it seems to not be working as we'll anymore. I've taken it for about 2 years now ## Hello, Sammie! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem that you're having. The next step up would most likely be Percocet in the 10/325 dosage, since the Oxycodone is stronger than Hydrocodone. Only your doctor can really decide where you should go from here, I'm just letting you know of other options. You could also go for something that doesn't contain Acetaminophen, such as Oxycodone by itself, or Dilaudid. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I guess that's it. I always have a hard time when I let my doc know the current medication.. Hydrocodone 10-325 is not working like it did at one time. ...

I have been taking lortab5/500 for several years due to chronic pain from severe injuries, that are permanent.due to fda,my doctor had to change medicine.i am now taking Tylenol 3 with codeine.how many of the Tylenol can I take at one time or what can I take with it to measure up to the same as the lortab, that would give the same effects?thanks. ## Hello, Miranda! How are you? Actually, given the potency difference, these are almost equivalent and you shouldn't notice a big difference in efficacy. No, there is nothing you can add to make them stronger and you can't take multiples, due to the Acetaminophen, since taking too much of it in a day can be fatally toxic. If they really aren't handling your pain, you'll need to see your doctor for assistance. Is there anything el...

is there any diference between loprin and asprin ...since asprin can be applied on face for acne...plz guide me ? ## please tell me the purpose of this tablet "loprin (aspirin) now. ## No, Aspirin should not be applied to your face for acne. The solidified form in tablets is not exactly the same as that which is specially formulated to be used on skin, which is in skin care products. If you wish to try it on your skin, please purchase something that is specifically made to be used in such a manner. Loprin/Aspirin is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Low doses are also commonly used for heart health and blood thinning. I have been taking Opana for over 4 years now and it has been a God send. It is by far the best pain medication that I have ever taken, and I have been prescribed many over the years. I went to the pharmacy this month and when I opened my bottle I noticed that the pills are round now instead of an octaganal shape. The bottle says that they are a new shape but the medicine is the same. Well... I have to disagree with Endo on this one. I was experiencing withdrawal symptons for the first four days of taking the new shaped pill and my pain level was much higher than with the old ones. When taking the old ones my pain level was at a one or two most of the time with a few parts of the day a four or five. When my pain level increased I would take an Opana 5mg IR for breakthrough and within 20...

I take 2 60 mg moriphine will that cause me to gain wieght ## Hello, Deb! How are you? No, actually it is much more common for Morphine to cause weight loss, because it tends to lower the appetite of many people that take it. Now, there are many people taking opiate pain medications who gain weight, but it's usually due to their being in pain, on such medications and thus, adopting a sedentary lifestyle. Can we take something else to get back the 175mg of Tylenol in some way to get back the pain reliever? (Blue watson vs. white watson) if they took OUT the dye and they took OUT 175mg of the Tylenol then why is the pi;; the same size? What did they replace it with they could be causing my issues? blisters, white bumps and swelling ## Hi jo, Sorry to hear about those strange side effects you've been experiencing recently. It sounds to me like there's something drug manufacturers are not telling us. Surely it'll come out of the wood work over the next few years when the FDA decides to investigate why so many patients aren't getting any relief from these new meds. A lot of the time, certain side effects can also be associated with all the binders and fillers they put in each...
