Iam a 65yo male with osteogenisis imperfecta,scoliosis,osteoarthritis,IBS,hypertension etc. I had both knees replaced 22 years ago. Recently an increase in pain in L hip prompted my PC Doc to do the mscontin thing. I was already on the 60mg's codeine 3 times a day. This has been great,finally i can walk around pretty much pain free most of the day. I just wondering about all that tyelnol, because its been about 30 or 40 years taking tyelnol and I'm worried about my liver. What else would be good.for BTP. I go to a pain clinic and I am given dilaudid 2mg 3 times a day. I took my 3 through out the day yesterday the last one being around 1am. I took my UA at 9:10am. yet for the second month in a row it didn't show up in my urine. could u please tell me how that's possible. ## Dilaudid is a man made drug,there are no Opioid's in Dilaudid. Also be sure to tell them each & every time Before you're given anything, by mouth, IV or IM. You also need to tell them to be sure & write it in your chart. Is this dose that percocet comes in and what is the average cost for each prescription refill? ## Percocet (aka oxycodone) Comes in 5, 7.5 & 10mg with 325 or 650 mg of tylenol. The price varies on your insurance & of you don't have insurance then there's a lot of drug discount cards that save anywhere from 5 to 25% I prefer to use CVS drug store because their cheaper. My boyfriend was given tramadol and tested positive for opiates. Is this possible and why? Then he was given the medication forcibly by medical staff where he is located. Can this cause for him to act intoxicated and/or high? ## Tramadol will NOT show up as an opiate. If it was an opiate it would be a controlled substance for all states. What is the maximum/day my pcp can prescribe long term opiates without going to pain management. Specialists are expensive for me but not the medication.
