I was given 150 mg of fentany patches I change every three days also the doctor gave me Hydromophone 8mg six three times a day. This medication was given to me over ten years ago for fibromyalgia. I have been taken a very powerful and deadly dose of narcotics and other medications for years. Now the doctors wont to take the medications away from me. I have wing myself off half of what was persubscribe to me at the doctors office. My body is in so much pain everday no doctor want to help me. I keep reading that fentanyl is 80% stronger then morphine. However, most people are talking 100 mcg fentanyl patch over 72 hours, so now I wonder what this means? How much morphine totals fentanyl in 3 days? Confusing eh, anybody know?? I am on the 100 mcg patch every 3 days and have 4 mgs hydromorphone every day for back up pain. I don’t like the hydromorphone, I believe it’s making me constipated and I have to take meds for constipation now. I've been on this for over a year. I have stage 4 rectal cancer. I like the fentanyl and it works, but it’s weak when spread out over 3 days. I'm thinking of asking my doctor to let me take one type of opioid instead of two high doses. What's the difference between Norco 10 325 mg & 7.5-325 mg ## Hello, Howard! How are you? Well, the dosage is different, just like you've listed. One contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone with the 325mgs of Acetaminophen, while the other contains only 7.5mgs of it. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Hi All ~ Thanks for reading and possibly helping me out ! First a quick summery, 2 failed back surgery's, L3, L4, & L5 ~ 6 bolts and screws, except, in L5, apparently, I have a screw floating, not attached. 2 Doctors, saw the X-Ray, neither of them, seemed concerned. It's not floating, it has been in the same position for 2 years now. The last 2 1/2 months, actually, I have to see him, every 22 days another story, another day, as to why, the short leash. Anyway last 2 1/2 months, I am suffering so much more, my normal pain level, (which is when I am at my best) is a 4, I don't recall a day, that's been pain free for me. My father has recently started on these patches after a second full knee replacement and being on other pain killers for nearly 3 years now. The first 2 weeks they worked fine, lasting the 3 days gradualy turning from blue to pink then leaving a sticky residue that was quite hard to get off afterwards...the last few times, they are turning pink straightaway (within 3 hours) and falling off within 24...I'm really scared they aren't slow-release and it will cause damage in some way. First let me start off by saying, I have definitely reduced my dosage from 3 100mcg to 2 100mcg patches. I am currently wearing only one and so far so good. I am praying that I can continue to work my way back down. Unfortunately, my chronic pain may not allow that to happen sadly, doctors don't really have a clue what is going on with my knees. I believe it to be restless leg syndrome coupled with polio syndrome. Anyone know of specialists that I can see in New York . ## 1 x 100mcg patch/day is already a lot. Best thing for pain in anything below the arms is losing weight. Get as low as you can. If the pain killers you take don't kill you, the weight will. I have been taking qty of 120/mo,10-325 (percocet) for 2yrs with no side effects. My new MD reduced the qty to 90 and all was ok. He then reduced the qty to 60/mo 2 weeks ago and now my back pain has increased so much I can no longer continue my 1/2 mile daily walks. On his progressive timetable that qty is to be reduced to 45/mo which will be intolerable. I think I will be ok taking the same strength for 75/mo or would I be better off taking a qty of 60/mo 20-325 extended release? I am 84 yrs old and do not smoke or drink. ## Has he stated why he wants to lower it so much? How often should I take the inj's.? ## Hi Sidney, When administering anything in this fashion, I think it's probably wise to consult a doctor first just to make sure you're doing everything properly. However, dosing guidelines for the Tribedoce Dx Inj. Solution suggest that patients apply it via deep intramuscular inj. once every 24 hours for up to 5 days. This dosing information is provided by a pharmaceutical company down in Mexico, where the product appears to originate from. But I'm sure there are plenty of doctors here in the US that would be knowledgable about how to get the most out of it, if that's one of your concerns. Hi I found pills in a bag in my teenage sons room, and I can't seem to find the right answers online as to what they really are and if they are bad. They are round and off white to me since they are not the starch white id refer to for white pills. On one side is a 5, and the other has a M that is a pointy font imprint ( if that makes sense) please note there is NOT a square around the M which most results pointed to oxycodone or Ritalin. And How Long Before It Works?? ## Yes it can for cannabis I've done it myself you should take it every 12 hours for 3-4 days depending on how frequently and how long you've used. I would just go with 4 days to make sure. Your urine can change color green yellow orange or even red but this is just part of the detox process. One more thing make sure to stop using. The pharmacy that I use changed my brand of Oxycodone every month. Where can I find a pharmacy that stocks the M F brand that I am used to taking? And why to different brands have a different effect on me? yellow oblong pill with 357 imprinted on it ## Sounds like Ultracet to me. It is a nonnarcotic pain reliever with acetametiphin in it. Dosage is one to two tablets. Anymore then two can be dangerous and don't even think about mixing it with alcohol unless you want permanant liver damage. IT won't make you high if that is what you are after. ## Did you mean the marking 537 on an oblong, yellow tablet? If so, the tablet is distributed by Amerisource Health Services, and they list it as containing 37.5mgs of Tramadol, and 325mgs of Acetaminophen.
