Ive noticed they are not as effective as tge white. ## What are the markings on them? Since this is available as a generic medication, there are far too many on the market for me to be able to list them all for you. However, if you can post back with the markings, I can look them up and provide you with the needed information. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
what is stronger 2mg dalada or 5mg hydrocodone vicoden ## Hello, Jod! How are you? Dilaudid is stronger, you only need 1.25mgs of it to equal each 5mgs of Hydrocodone. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
Many questions here seem to be about comparing one opioid to another. Your questions need to be about either relief of not and that taking say Oxycodone 15mg is effectively treating pain. Pain from one to another is subjective at best. Morphine is engineered for lasting longer than Oxycodone IR, immediate release. Therefore at first Oxycodone works well but doesn't last, requiring another dose then morphine or Oxycontin may work better lasting through a period of time. Oxycodone really is a breakthrough pain medication. Treatment using Oxycodone for longterm pain treatment is tricky and may take months or years to get right. It took 3 years and 3 different pain management plans to find something that works fairly well. The other issue is insurance, wheres Oxycontin is a name brand tier
Updated in OxycodoneI have been prescribed 8mg. D's for 10 yrs. Rarely run out. I maintain high levels in my system at all times. Recently my employer implemented a zero tolerance for opiates in the workplace (even witth a valid prescription).I'm set to be tested (urinalysis) in approx. 4 days. Considering my lengthy affiliation and subsequent addition to this med. what is a realistic time frame that I should allow myself to be able to pass a urinalysis screen? I cannot afford to lose my job, so I would much rather err on the side of caution. Thanks for the info. It is critical that I test negative.... ## I assume by D's you mean Dilaudid 8mg tablets? If so, then they are usually detectable for approximately 4 to 5 days, after last dosing, in standard urine tests. Learn more Dilaudid details he...
Watson 10/325 yellow Norco has worked for 13 years - the white tablets I fillled are not helping WHATSOEVER. I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, carpet tunnel in both wrists,3 herniated discs, 2 bulging discs and 3 fuses discs in my neck among a few problems. This is horrible - between this & the Qualitest bad pills that made me sick last month along with NO pain relief my Dr. is saying he is going out on a limb for me - no one is going out on a limb - we are simply standing up and stating obvious fraudulent pills being sold as pain relief when there is NONE. This is so horrible to live in pain and be afraid to call your Dr. again and tell them this has happened again now with a different brand that previoulsy worked before they "took out the yellow dye". Updated in NorcoTrying to get a welder helper job and want to know if the company can turn me down for lortab prescribed to me for a back problem? ## It depends on the specific employment regulations and I am not familiar with them all, but basically if you are on any medication that may mean the job puts you or anyone else I'm danger, then they can. Some examples that I know can prohibit it are truck drivers and airline pilots. Thus, I suggest you look into the regulations pertaining to the industry you are trying to get a job in. Learn more Lortab details here. Are there any other questions or comments? ## Do you know if a New York City sanitation worker on probation could be fired? ## Sue, I think it will depend on the specific policies of the employer. If they can show that all their medication...

Reluctant to switch from a 20 mg norco 3x a day for years to the Low Dose Naltraxone. I understand that the LDN may not have side effects in itself but I'm worried about withdrawaling from my Dr prescribed opiates. Does the LDN soften the withdral? ## Why are you being put on the Naltrexone? It's not an analgesic and if you take it too soon after taking opiates, it can actually throw you into dangerous precipitated withdrawals. I'm sorry, but I'm a not quite understanding what's going on here. Naltrexone is usually used to help people stay off of opiates or alcohol. Along with withdrawals, its other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include diarrhea, dizziness, drowsiness and stomach cramps. ## Ldn is used in doses from 1.5 mg to 4.5 mg for immune syst...
Drs. willing to prescribe Morphine & Oxycodone for severe Spinal Stenosis , rehabbed Shoulder , pinched nerves in neck causing severe pain & numbness in one arm My Other shoulder needs reverse shoulder replacement which cant be done until other health problems can be addressed. I live in a nursing home & the resident physician here says she is uncomfortable writing the pain meds. I went to one pain center & felt like druggy trying to find a fix.
Updated in MorphineI periodically took Darvocet for 10 years for moderate to severe back pain due to four bulging disks prior to the FDA's removal. I only took it when I had a pain cycle appearing, which was seldom more than once a month. I had NO problems. I was able to function well without grogginess, a clear head, diminished pain, and NO signs of side effects. My physician has been trying several of the optional medications and Tramadol does NOTHING for my pain. Any other optional medications (i.e. hydrocodone) leave me incapacitated, sleeping, and woozy, which completely shuts down my days. I try to avoid taking it when the pain approaches, because I hate the side effects, which causes my pain to worsen. Since the removal of Darvocet, I must take off work excessively, feel hopeless, and my qualit...
My reuhmatologist does not want to prescribe hydrocodone anymore. I have severe pain from Lupus and arthritis. She has had me on this medication for 12 years. I have never, abused it, Now she decides she is afraid to write it with the new laws. She also treats my son who has fibromyalgia, epilepsy, which he dislocated his shoulder when he fell, during a grand Mal seizure, he has severe migraines and has tried every medication, even Botox, injections, and has discs problems in his neck because of his Down syndrome, which gives him terrible neck pain. After being patients for many years, she started us on their medications, she doesn't want to write them any more. ## You and your son need to see a Pain Management Dr. You will also need a copy of your medical records.
Please help! I have serious memory problems ## Hi, Donna! Sorry about the problems that you're having. Yes, having a problem with your memory is actually a common side effect of Lyrica. Learn more Lyrica details here. Have you consulted your doctor? Lyrica just might not be the right medication for you to take and you may need to try something else. ## Hello, hope your Lyrica problem has been resolved. I also had a bad reaction to Lyrica. I always stop a medication immediately if I have a bad reaction to it. And you can always trump your doctor at any time and not take the medication. By law, they can not make you take it. If they push you into it, see another doctor. Even if its a prominent doctor.
my son has had hepitus c for 15 years before being diagnosed. he has severs liver damaganeuropht and other problems--of this drug --also benefits-his medical doctor is trying to take him off it -cold turkey- the pain doctors prescribed it for him. help me understand. he is terminal. i wish to know more about this medication. ## I'm sorry to hear about your son. I believe you are referring to the medication Dilaudid which is a very strong narcotic pain killer. So the doctor is taking your son off it cold turkey? If he has been taking it for awhile he might go through a brief but very intense withdrawal period lasting up to several days. He will definitely need you to be there for him during that time. There is a lot more information available about this drug on the page for Dilaudid ...
Moved from Idaho to Western Oklahoma a few months ago. My pain management Dr in Idaho gave me 2 months of prescriptions to get me through until I find a new Dr. Things haven't gone as expected, shortly after getting here I was admitted into the hospital because of a post op infection on the deep brain stimulator I had implanted for essential tremor. The device was removed, 2 brain surgeries in 8 months, I've obviously been a little off. I have no medical insurance, ran out of pain medication that I have been on for 6 years for chronic pain, scoliosis, arthritis of the spine, protruding disk in my low back, disk degeneration of the neck, chronic tendinitis in my shoulder due to an abnormaly formed shoulder joint, chronic bursitis of the hip. I finally got approved by a pain Dr but a

But I do its the only thing that gives any relief Any suggestions? ## Hello, Mac! How are you? Really, the only thing you can do is be honest with your doctor. Why did you want off of the Fentanyl? Were you having problems with it? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## Yes had most of those side effects. Plus I have muscular dystrophy I have my bad days. But I do have my better days and I wa...
