The SA stands for sustained action, which means it is a time released formulation and cutting or breaking it could cause you to get too much of the medication at once. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
My friend took a 4mg dilaudid today and shes 38 wks pregnant. She wants to know if it will show up in the baby's system. She's having a c section in 4 days ## Seriously that's awful. "Your friend" doesn't need to have a child in her custody. ## Is this person for reals? Her "friend" is abusing pain meds "DRUG'S" while pregnant? Wth is wrong with people? I was only able to have 1 child and bc of health problems I couldn't have anymore! It really makes me sick when I hear about i*****s on this earth that have kid's and SHOULDN'T! I will be praying for that poor innocent child. How awful that the baby has a very SELFISH "mother" (I use that word very lightly) bc she's not a mother, she's more of a MONSTER! Editor's...
I was terminated from my employer because I tested positive for oxymorphone & not oxycodone, which I had prescription for percocet 10m. Does anyone know the ratio to figure this out & should I persue legal action against my former employer? Please help!!! Had a great job, now cant find anything for work cause my previous employer is telling everyone I was terminated for positive drug test!!! ## It is illegal for your boss to tell ppl you were terminated for failing a drug test. I would talk to a lawyer ## Well your sorta screwed because if no oxycodone was detected it means you were taking opana and not your oxycodone. If u had been just taking your percs you would be positive for both. Oxymorphone is a byproduct of the metabolism of oxycodone but not in the reverse.
I have oxycodone acetaminophen 5 325 from Nov.2012. Is it still usably effective? ## Hello, Dorcas! How are you? If it's in a bottle as dispensed by your pharmacy, then it expired and began to degrade one year after it was dispensed to you, due to the fact that those bottles expose them to heat, light and moisture. Thus, it would be best to dispose of it and see your doctor, if you require something for pain. The FDA lists this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## The one year expiration date on pharmacy issued drugs is required by law and has nothing to do with the actual shelf life of a drug. A 3.9 mill...
5397 ## Hydracodone was prescribed for me after urterine and hernia surgeries almost two years ago. I'm now taking 5 mg. every 8 hrs. I stopped taking this medication for almost three days and experienced an overhelming feeling of gloom and doom, which was more than I could handle and, therefore, I took a pill on the third day. Is this feeling a withdrawal side effect? ## I have been on Oxycodone and Oxycocet for roughly 6 years, the last 3 & 1/2 I have been taking between 240-300 of the Oxycocet a month. I take 100 of both Oxycodone (20mg) and Flexeral a month. I went off of all my drugs a few months ago, what a wicked weekend. I spent the entire time, either throwing up or racing to the toilet or both together at times. The withdrawal symptoms were all but gone after 4 days. H...
So I am trying to sift through Google results to find a legitimate place to get Tramadol over the internet. My situation is somewhat different from most, as I have valid insurance and a valid Rx for Tramadol. Right now I have a herniated disc and sciatica that is destroying my left leg. However, I am active duty military, and the Army is not giving me enough..EVER. They fill me for 30 tabs of 50mg, which if taken per instructions (1-2 every 4-6 hrs as needed, no more than 8 per day), lasts only a couple of days, and they don't give me refills. So I have to go BACK to the ER to get more. It's ridiculous, especially around the holidays, trying to get medical care. I have a surgery CONSULT (not actually surgery) but not for 3 more weeks. The pain is almost unbearable. All that bein...
Oval scored white with M358 imprinted on one side ## Hi Vee, I was able to view a photo of the pill you're describing, simply by searching for "M358 pill" on google images. It should show up as the first few images you see. For verification, this pill appears to be manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, and the national drug code (NDC) for this specific pill is: 00406-0358 Learn More: Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone Details I hope this helps! ## The pill you described is M358 (Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone 500 mg / 7.5 mg) Pill imprint M358 has been identified as Acetaminophen and hydrocodone bitartrate 500 mg / 7.5 mg. Acetaminophen/hydrocodone is used in the treatment of back pain; pain; rheumatoid arthritis; cough and belongs to the drug class narcotic analgesic combin...
What does the Lortab painkiller pill look like.? ## Since these are available as generic tablets and they will all look different and have different markings, depending on what company manufactures them, I cannot possibly describe them all. However, if you can post back with the imprint from the tablet in question, I will gladly look it up for you and let you know what it is? ## My medications all spilled, because of my wonderful puppy. I have ID most of them but one , oval shaped, white, 225 on one side & I G on the other. I believe it may be my pain meds Lortab 5 mg generic, your assistance is appreciated. I do not wish to take incorrect meds. Also, all pharmacies are closed at the present time. ## IG 225 is listed as containing 600mgs of Gemfibrozil, used to help lower lipid leve...
Help me Dr gave me Hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5-325TB. My Esophgrus is burning so bad, I now have runny nose and a cough. He gave it to me for leg and back pain. I should say that I also take Nexium fore acid reflex ## Hello, Lee! How are you doing? I'm very sorry about the problem that you're having. How much water did you take it with? This frequently occurs if someone takes a pill with just a small sip of liquid, or swallows it dry. With the runny nose and cough being added to the mix, that leads me to suspect that it might have your GERD acting up. If you did take it with a full, 8 ounce glass of water, then you need to consult your doctor, because this just might not be the right medication for you to take, since something else may be causing the problem. ## You should be te...
If I took 2 percoeit 5, will that equal the same as 1 percoiet 10? ## Hello, Jenny! How are you? It would be equivalent in the amount of Oxycodone, but you'd be getting double the dose of the Acetaminophen. Taking too much of it in a day can result in fatal toxicity, so you have to be careful not to exceed 3,000mgs a day and no more than 1,000mgs per dose. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. It's best to stay away from the extra Acetaminophen, if you can and just take one of the 10/325mg Percocet, unless your doctor instructs otherwise. Is there anything else I can help with?
Which med is stronger: Oxycodone/apap 5-325, OxyContin or Hysingla er 30 mg? ## Hello, Flora! How are you? Oxycodone is the active ingredient in Oxycontin in a time released formulation, so which of those is stronger depends on the dosage, however, in theory the Oxycontin should be stronger, because the lowest dose of it available is 10mgs. The 30mg Hysingla ER is equivalent to 20mgs of Oxycodone, so of the three you've listed, this is the highest dose. The FDA classifies these medications as narcotic analgesic, so they have the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
Please does anyone know what medication was in those tablets....they where in Teva Pharmaceutical package that said 80mg oxycodone hydrochloride extended had REV:A 2/2004 and L21185......so Teva Pharmaceutical knows the package they must have some idea what the true medication was in the blister packs that those stickers where glued to.......... ## An orangish/reddish tablet with 93 on one side and 225 on the opposite is listed by Teva as containing 0.5mgs of Risperidone. The FDA classifies it as an atypical antipsychotic that is used to treat various mental health disorders. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, sedation, somnolence and weight gain. Is there anything else I can help with?
I broke my ankle last night and the emergency room prescribed norcos for pain and I advised them multiple time that I exclusively breastfeed my 12 week old and they said it was okay . I'm just wanting to make sure I didn't get bad information . Thanks ahead of time ## Hello, Tara! How are you feeling? The Hydrocodone in this medication has been known to pass through the breast milk to the infant, as reported by the FDA, and it may cause them to be very drowsy, to sleep for long periods of time and to become constipated. There have also been cases of infants getting too much of it and experiencing fatal overdoses. Thus, I think it would be best to consult your personal doctor to see what you can safely take. wat is parcetamol? wats its effect? long yellow pill with janssen stamp on one side ## Hello, Bowe! How are you? Paracetamol is the same active ingredient that is in Tylenol, it is also commonly called APAP or Acetaminophen, it is an analgesic. When it accompanies another medication, such as the Tramadol, it can help make that medication more effective for some people that take it. The FDA classifies this medication as an opioid, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
I have curvature in my back and arthritis in my back and the only relief I have is oxycodone, I want to get off this but do not know what to try. Would Meloxicam or Tramadol be a good substitute? Please tell me of anything else I can try. Alleve or Tylenol does not do much and I'm in constant pain without Oxy. ## Hello, Demi! How are you? Neither of those medications are as strong as Oxycodone, plus the Tramadol is also a type of opiate that carries the same risk of being habit forming. It can also cause very similar side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Why do you want to stop taking the Oxycodone? How long have you been on it and what dose do you take?
Please I have fibromyalgia and I have applied for Medicaid but can't afford my narcotics, Percocet and exalgo ## You can call the Pharmaceutical compaines that make these drugs. Mallinckrodt makes Exalgo. There are a number of pharmaceutical companies that make Percocet (Oxycodone/Acetaminophen). Ask about Patient Assistance Programs when you call the pharmaceutical companies. You can also look for Discount Prescription Cards online and I have put a link to the Discount Prescription Card here below. RX Savings Card
round thick peach/tan pill with markings HYD30 side one&no markings on other side,i was told it is a norco without any tylonal in it? ## Hello, Tish! How are you? That is correct. This tablet is manufactured by Purdue Pharma and they it as being a 30mg Hysingla ER tablet, which contains the active ingredient Hydrocodone in a time released formulation, so it's the same opiate that is in Norco, but without the Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
Is there apap in my oxycodone 5mg kvk hcl tab? Because people are saying there is apap in it. ## Hello, Lang! How are you? What are the markings on it? From what you've listed, it doesn't look like there's any APAP/Acetaminophen in it, if there were, a second dosage should be listed, so the label would have something like 5/325mg on it. However, if you can post back with the markings on it, I'll gladly double check for you to be sure. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
I have a bottle of tylenol pm instant release and after some stuff that i heard of that has been going on in my town and also because a friend gave me the bottle i didn't buy it. So i decided to open the capsules up and it some had a powder in it and a few hard beads in them. So not sure what's going on? ## Hello, Izzy! How are you? I've never opened one to look. However, you may be able to call and ask the manufacturer, they list a contact number on their website, it's 877-TYLENOL. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and headache. Is there anything else I can help with?
I took a tyneol 500 6hours ago can I take acetaminophen/cod#3 (300/30) ruth ## Hello, Ruth! How are you? How much Tylenol did you take? You need to make sure you don't take more than 3,000mgs a day, divided into doses of no more than 1,000mgs each. Taking to much, at once, or in one day, could result in overdose toxicity that could be fatal. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
