So since this does wears off after 6 - 8 hours can't I basically just increase to 3X/day by taking it every 8 hours instead? Here's a strange twist to my story: My Dr. said no to an increase in dosage and referred me to an outside pain specialist for my pain meds BUT! I also noticed that for the last two months my monthly prescription labeled for 60 tabs actually has about a weeks worth of extra oxy's. I know I'm not missing any doses. Any opinions? ## Hello, B Hughes! How are you? If you up your dosage on your own, you're going to run out early, which could end up with your doctor flagging you as an abuser/a...

what is the diff. b/w calpol and calpol-t??? ## Calpol contains only paracetamol. But Calpol contains Paracetamol and also Tramadol. Its used to relieve moderate to severe pain. Especially body pain, arthiritis and headaches. ## That is correct, so the Calpol-T would be used to treat pain that is more severe. Learn more Paracetamol details here. Learn more Tramadol details here. Are there any other comments or questions? ## Calpolt reallysave severebackpain ## How tramdol works on back pain
picture of pill ## DR prescribed my oxycodone 10mg but they are a pink small pill with no # or letters as said in your forum i don't understand. TY April ## They are straight oxycodone, I think. No acetaminophen. ## If you have a tablet that does not have any markings on it, then it is not a U.S. manufactured and approved prescription tablet of any type. They are all required to have markings to enable their identification. Without any markings, it is difficult to determine what they might contain. You can learn more Oxycodone details here. I wish April would return and tell us where she got them as that may help to narrow it down. Does anyone else know of any tablets that match that description? ## Got some small pink oval pills today with no letters, numbers, or any other kind of ...
Is oxycodone with hydrochloride the same as one without hydrochloride? What is it for? ## Hello, Patty! How are you? Yes, it is all Oxycodone Hydrochloride, it just designates the specific chemical salt that the medication was derived from. Some prescriptions will list it and some won't. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Does hydrochloride and Advil cause low blood platelets???
I got a pain shot in my lower left back. I now have quarter sized hole that is skin to top of back pelvis. I'm in more pain than before the shot & now my Dr. Is not accepting blue cross anymore & I only have 6 doxycycline left. Feels like my back is broken sometimes. I'm 39 & my body feels 90. I am trying to save pills so I've cut down to 1 pill a day. My quality of life is nonexistent. I thought maybe I can peruse my prescription legally through a Dr. Online? I'm getting new Dr. But I will run out before I can be seen. Should I go to emergency room. Could they help? With technology I've heard of seeing Dr. Online. Is this possible for temporary purposes? Thank you, please help! ## If you signed a pain contract, it is best to not see another dr. A dr onli...
Please help me, I am getting prescribed opana and i want to know if it exists in a 30mg form, and if so, what the inscription is supposed to be? ## @the queen, To answer your question, 30mg Opana "ER" tabs do in fact exist. However they are not white as you mentioned in your description. They are actually depicted as being red in color and also eight-sided. As far as the imprint is concerned, the one's I'm finding made by Endo Pharmaceuticals have the number 30 on one side and are blank on the other. Just out of curiosity, what is it about the one's being prescribed that makes you question their appearance? ## She had the color wrong because somebody ripped her off telling her a 30 mg opana is white... Get smart please..That post is from a crafty addict trying to fin...
I am involved with chronic pain DEA. I do have broke Disk/Ankel/Devadid System. I do get Methadone/Ibuprofen /oxycodone for 18 years. ## Hi Steven, Sorry to hear about your chronic pain. I think under normal circumstances any licensed pharmacy should fill your prescription. It's not like they don't have the ability to (being a pharmacy and all), but whether or not the oxycodone's in stock when you get there is another story. Because that's something we can't always determine ahead of time (unless the doctor calls it in), it may come down to checking different locations in your surrounding area until someone can at the very least order your meds to arrive in a couple days. That's probably how I would approach this situation if it were me, although I understand tha...
I recently relocated to San Francisco from Chicago and am seeking a doctor who will prescribe the same medications as my previous doctor. I need a doctor who will prescribe Hydrocodone, Xanax and Adderall which I have been taking for a few years. ## You will need a copy of your medical records from your previous drs before another dr will treat you for these conditions. Although there are no guarantees that another dr will treat you with the same medications thar your previous did. With you being a new patient, you won't find a dr that will prescribe you these meds until they have seen you for at least several months, if then. You will need to see a psychiatrist for the Xanax and Adderall. Depending on how much of the hydrocodone that you're taking, you may need a Pain Managemen...
I know the brand malloncrodft has 3 strengths of oxycodone, 5, 15, 30. I need a specific description I know all three strengths are round convex in shape and 6mm (they're the same size around, but are the pills different widths? Are 30s stacked a little higher than 15s? Are 15s thicker than 5s? Or are they all the same size in width, diameter circumference etc? I also would like to know about the variation in color. White 5s, light green 15, light blue 30 (are these shades all very light almost blanched with a tiny or Hugh of color in the 15s and 30s? Would it be difficult to see the color difference at a quick glance, are they almost all different shades of white? 5s would be white white, 15s would be light greenish white (mixing light green and white toothpaste together to get a very
Updated in OxycodoneI am in the Covington la. northshore of new Orleans. I have unrelenting RA and sciatica because of spinal stenosis. I have been on an antiinflamatory and Norco 5 a day for over a yr. my orthopedic says I have to go to pain management. I don't want shots in my spine. does anyone know of a pain dr. in this area who can treat these conditions with opiates? I sleep maybe 3 hrs a day, neverat night because the RA is too painful. constant panic attacks! ## There is no way of knowing how a dr will treat you until you've seen them a few times. If you call and ask if a dr only uses pain meds, you will be told no because thatis a red flag for drug seeking behavior. Have you seen a Rheumatoligist for the RA ? Have you seen a Neurologist for an EMG for the sciatica ? You will need a copy of...
My dentist prescribed Tramadol hcl 50mg, Ibuprofen 800 mg and Tylenol for tooth pain. I am concerned about taking all three of them at once because I drive a school bus. Safety is my concern for kids as well as my own. ## Yes & No--you can take/do anything as long as "nothing goes wrong" 100% if you have an accident there will be a blood drawn even if it is absolutely not even your fault --so read your employment manual --you may be totally legally prohibitted. Regardless, see how it effects you BEFORE your maiden vouyage on meds. Take the tramadol during the day-- it's so low dose I can't imagine you having a problem ! Codeine makes a person sleepy -- I would not take that during the day while driving if you've not taken medication before save that one for bedti...
i found a little white pill with a 112 and a line up under the 112on one side and there is nothing on the other side what is it???? ## Based on the description provided, I found your round white pill to be Oxycodone hydrochloride (5 mg). NOTE: This finding is based off of a description and not an image of the drug (as the drug database did not have an image), so I can't be 100% certain that this is the pill's identity. However nothing else showed up as a match so I'm thinking this has to be it. Oxycodone comes in various forms and is used to treat moderate to severe levels of pain. For more information about this drug, please refer to the link below... If you have any more questions or concerns, please post back and I will be happy to help you. ## was this the correct answer...
I am on Norco for Pain management, I took a urine test in office and after a few mons it cam back no Norco and positive for benzodiazepines. I have not taken any for at least 6 months and that would have been a 0.5 mg Adavan. I demanded a Blood test to prove I was not taking the Benzodiazepines and was taking my Norco. Is there a reason it would do this on a urine test. (The doctor canceled my lab on my urine and messed up my original blood screen and when I went back for a retest she tried her best to refuse me blood test and demanded a urine test I had already taken). I have anxiety, depression and bipolar and have not taken any meds recently and was told by this doctor not to take my mental meds. Things are crazy and I need to know how to make sure I get the test that proves I am ok....
I have been taking pregabalin for over two years and yes I had put over two stne on. After a discussion with my pain consultant I understood a lot of the weight gain was excess water. I started taking homeopathic water retention tablets and these really helped. In the last month instead of my 150mg & 75mg at night and 150mg & 50mg in the morning my dose was changed to 200mg and 250mg tablets. My weight has piled on to what it was and more besides. Does anyone know if the lager doses normally do this. ## Yes, if your dose is raised, it would be normal to experience more weight gain, as well as the other side effects that the FDA reports, such as nausea, headache, dry mouth and mood swings. ## I am on pregabalin and have put on 4 stone because of this, so I tried to come straight ...
Can you take tuelonal pm for anxiety and sleep during detoxing suboconr ## Can you take Tylenol pm for anxiety and sleep while detoxing from suboxone ## Hi Teddy, From what I understand, neither Tylenol (Acetaminophen) nor Diphenhydramine (an anthistamine) act on opioid receptors or interact with suboxone in anyway. So personally I don't see how it could possibly interfere with suboxone being inside or outside of your system (during a detox) from a pharmacological point of view. However it would probably be a good idea to double check with your doctor anyways for that added peace of mind. Some alternative considerations that may also be worth looking into are, homeopathic sleep aids, melatonin, magnesium, various herbal preparations, ashwaghanda root, valerian root, white noise, med...
I have took hydrocodone and percs about sixty days ago and I have a hair test in about two weeks. I have old scripts for them both, should everything turn out alright? ## I'm in the same situation u are, did u ever happen to test positive for anything on ur hair test? ## I took 6-8 hydrocodone between the 16th and 18th of oct. I have to take a hair folical drug test on tues. Dec.29th...will I test positive? ## What happened did you pass? Ina similar situation. Took 2 about 60 days ago and wondering what the levels will show.
i do not have ins and im in pain all day everyday does anyone know a dr who will take a patient with cash that needs pain meds ## Any doctor can take cash and since it is legal tender, they are supposed to accept it. If you can pay for the appointments needed, then it doesn't matter if you do or do not have insurance, though they may ask you to prove that you can pay for them, or to pay in advance, which is their right. The same is true of getting prescriptions filled, the pharmacy can't refuse yours just because you are paying cash, rather than using insurance. Learn more pain management details here. Paying cash, however, does not remove someone from the government oversight radar, all prescriptions for controlled substances would still be tracked. If you'd like someone to...
What's Nucynta ER comparable to as far as a pain reliever goes? ## According to the study linked below from NIH.gov, "Tapentadol IR (the active ingredient in Nucynta) has comparable analgesic efficacy and overall safety to that of Oxycodone IR for the relief of moderate to severe, acute lower back pain as well as leg pain" Ref: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23703422 Another clinical study also compared 50mg and 75 mg dosages of Tapentadol IR to Oxycodone HCl IR 10 mg and reported similar efficacy, at: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19302899 I understand that this is referring to immediate release and not extended release, but perhaps this information will at least give you an idea of its potency/capabilities and what level of relief you might come to expect. Hope this helps! ## I underst...
I went to the ER on 12/6/2015. I was in serious pain. The Dr. ordered me 2 Vicodin to take at the Hospital. He gave me a prescription before I left. The medication bottle said Oxycodone. I took it. However, I had a bad reaction to it. I was itchy all over my head. Scalp, lips, nose were unbearable. ## Hello, Janet! How are you? Yes, Percocet contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone. Are you allergic to it? The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## No I'm just in a lot of pain and need something stronger. Been taking Advil 200 mg every 4 hrs. But now I want to take stronger pills for pain. Hurt shoulder
