I recently was in the hospital for 2 months & was given cyclosporine, sandimmune, hydromorphone, benadryl, hydrocodone, oxycodone, gabapentin, naproxen & adarax. I know that the oxycodone, hydrocodone & hydromorphone will cause a positive opiates test. I've never touched methamphetamines. I was told that smoking menthol cigarettes can cause a positive methamphetamine drug test. I have been smoking menthol cigarettes for 6 years. So is this true of the menthol cigarettes? Please help.
Updated in MentholI am a 90% disabled veteran after 25 years of military service and took a hit in Iraq during the first phase of the ground war. I hated being on 40mg x3 per day of oxyconton, (experienced extremely rapid episodes of pure rage). I talked to my VA doctor & pain mgmt. Doc, to walking it down. I have been able to get by on 15mg of Oxycodone, but since it really only takes the edge off between 4 - 6 hours which is dependent upon my level of activities, he bumped me up to x4 tabs per day. I just recently received my new scrpit, and the markings are different; which I believe to be individual manufacturer ID. The markings used to be round light green 48 l 11 V, and this most recent refill is also round light green, however it is marked 187. The crux of the matter is I now get headaches wit...

When I take these pills that I get from the pharmacy, the yellow ones they make me violently I'll like throwing up, about to faint and plus they don't get rid of the pain, it makes it worse it's unbareble. The only ones I can take is the white oblong with the symbol 10/325 my 23rd why is that an why does the yellow one make me throw up and get sicker. What do I need to tell my doctor. ## There are different fillers and binders in generics. Based on what you've said here, there seems to be something in the yellow, round, oxycodone 10 mg/acetaminophen 325 mg that you are allergic to. It appears that the same ingredients are not in the white, oblong, oxycodone 10 mg/acetaminophen 325 mg. You may want to talk to your pharmacist and ask them if they can make a note on your pr...

I'm 23 years old. I'm prescribed 2mg clonazapem 3 times a day, 2 norco 500s 2 times a day for breakthrough pain, 2 Oxycontin 15 mg a day and 2 15 mg; and next month my Oxycontin will have gone up to 20 mg a day. I will be prescribed these the rest of my life due to arthritis and a broken patella from having surgery. I'm not a drug seeker, I just don't understand why my doctor prescribes the strongest pain killer for me? ## Hello, Collin! How are you? If you don't want your dose raised to 20mgs, you are free to inform the doctor of that, if you're doing fine on the lower dose. You're also free to tell him that you don't want to take it, at all. But this is not the strongest opiate available, there are others that are stronger than Oxycodone. It really soun...
I just got blood test results showing elevated liver ensymes. I take percodan 10/325 3xday. I also take fentanyl patch 25 every 48 hours. What meds could replace these in reguards to the elevated liver enzymes ? ## Hello, Trish! How are you? The elevated enzymes are most likely caused by the oral medication, not the patch, since it isn't processed directly through the liver. There are formulations of Oxycodone available without anything else added that your doctor can prescribe, so it won't have as much of an impact on your liver as the Percodan does. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. How high are your enzymes levels? ## My alt is 46 and ast is 5...
I am taking for pain of a tooth that needs to be pulled. Also taking clindamycin for infection. The FDA classifies it as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Once the antibiotic starts taking effect, then the pain will greatly ease and you should start seeing improvement from it in about 3 days. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with?
Is a10 325 Norco stronger then a. 4.5 Percocet ## Hello, Terry! How are you? Yes, 4.5mgs of Oxycodone is equal to 6.75mgs of Hydrocodone, so the Norco is stronger. I was hit by a car 5 weeks ago and have lots of pelvis breaks and breaks in my sacrum, spine, and hip. While in the hospital I was given morphine iv then dilaudid iv. Then I was switched to a pill form of dilaudid. 2mg every 2 hours. Then every four hours. Now it's every four as needed. I started taking more than prescribed so they would work cause my body built up a tolerance. I need to stop but I'll wake up at night with restless leg syndrome and can only fall back asleep if I take one. How do I wean myself off? I have 10 left to last me till my next appointment 6 days from now. Then my doctor will give me a small refill of that or a less intense narcotic. ## Hello, Vee! How are you? Kvk tech oxycodone 5 MG do not seem to work unless I up my dose from the prescription directions. Do they have the same problems that zydus pharmaceuticals has? ## I agree 100% now trying to grt your Dr to agree is a whole different challenge .It can make u appear to be a drug Seeker any suggestions? ## @Badox3, It seems to me that the best approach is to just be straight forward and honest with your doctor if something they prescribed isn't working. They can probably tell if your words are genuine based on how you present your situation. I think the idea is to not come off as desperate (begging), but instead take an earnest heart to heart approach towards getting your point across. I realize that a lot of doctors don't have enough compassion to do the right thing all the time, ...
