I was given an oral swab drug test & came back positive for methamphetamine & opiates. I recently was in the hospital for 2 months & was given cyclosporine, sandimmune, hydromorphone, benadryl, hydrocodone, oxycodone, gabapentin, naproxen & adarax. I know that the oxycodone, hydrocodone & hydromorphone will cause a positive opiates test. I've never touched methamphetamines. I was told that smoking menthol cigarettes can cause a positive methamphetamine drug test. I have been smoking menthol cigarettes for 6 years. So is this true of the menthol cigarettes? Please help.

I am a 90% disabled veteran after 25 years of military service and took a hit in Iraq during the first phase of the ground war. I hated being on 40mg x3 per day of oxyconton, (experienced extremely rapid episodes of pure rage). I talked to my VA doctor & pain mgmt. Doc, to walking it down. My pain dr. keeps giving me Flexoril for breakthrough along with Opana long acting. I never asked for it nor have used it-my pain mostly skeletal broken arms, fused kneecaps, bone disease stuff so why would I want to take muscle relaxer??!! When I put on monthly form that I don't want it-dr. just looks @ desk says nothing prints out scripts & says see you in 28 days.......Why wont he talk to me? What is this . Is it anything like a percocet ? I'm just confused as to what it is as I was prescribe percocet 10 /325 just trying to find out the similarities ## Watson lists this tablet as containing 4.5mgs of Oxycodone hydrochloride, .38mgs of Oxycodone Terephthalate and 325mgs of Aspirin. To understand Yellow L imprint ## It's just a logo used by the manufacturer on their 81mg Aspirin tablets, which is the dose many take for heart health and blood thinning. When I take these pills that I get from the pharmacy, the yellow ones they make me violently I'll like throwing up, about to faint and plus they don't get rid of the pain, it makes it worse it's unbareble. The only ones I can take is the white oblong with the symbol 10/325 my 23rd why is that an why does the yellow one make me throw up and get sicker. I'm 23 years old. I'm prescribed 2mg clonazapem 3 times a day, 2 norco 500s 2 times a day for breakthrough pain, 2 Oxycontin 15 mg a day and 2 15 mg; and next month my Oxycontin will have gone up to 20 mg a day. I will be prescribed these the rest of my life due to arthritis and a broken patella from having surgery. I just got blood test results showing elevated liver ensymes. I take percodan 10/325 3xday. I also take fentanyl patch 25 every 48 hours. I was hit by a car 5 weeks ago and have lots of pelvis breaks and breaks in my sacrum, spine, and hip. While in the hospital I was given morphine iv then dilaudid iv. Then I was switched to a pill form of dilaudid. 2mg every 2 hours. Then every four hours. Now it's every four as needed. I started taking more than prescribed so they would work cause my body built up a tolerance. I need to stop but I'll wake up at night with restless leg syndrome and can only fall back asleep if I take one. How do I wean myself off?
