In many cases, if you go in asking for a specific medication they will see it as drug seeking behavior, but they can see what works for you as documented by other physicians, they are more likely to prescribe accordingly. It might be 50mg Tramadol. Mine have no matkings at all. Tramadol is an opiate, stronger than Codeine, but weaker than Morphine. I take 8 capsules a day, 2 every six hours for a trapped nerve in my hand. I am an over 50 male of about 200 lbs. so my dose might be way too much for say a teneager or a woman. ## Mike, My daughter has same problem as you have and she finally tried acupuncture and it helped. Every few years problem tries to re occur and she goes for acupuncture and problem again is resolved. ## Hi Mike, I believe you are right about the pill in question. The closest match I could find is Tramadol 50 mg. Also, I agree that acupuncture would be a great and natural way to treat your nerve pain. I have a problem with a nerve in my left foot and I have had good results from acupun...
Found green and yellow capsules with no markings on them in my teenagers room. Been surfing online and this page showed up with the same description. What is it? How can I be certian? , and most importantly how should I discard it. ## @UnknownGhost, In my opinion the best way to know for certain what's inside it is to have its contents analyzed by a lab and/or drug panel. The fact that it has no markings is what concerns me, because it could literally be anything. Were you given any clues as to why it might be tramadol? I didn't happen to see the other page here on this topic that you may have been referring to... And I know teens can be difficult to work with (we've all been that way at one point), but hopefully a heartfelt and non-judgemental parent/son talk will help get ...

I received my prescribed kadian in the factory sealed bottle. It did not appear to have been tampered with. However,I noticed several times I got no relief from my medication after taking it but did not think much of it until I noticed one night as I went to take my kadian it did not sound right, kadian had small round bead type substance inside a capsule and when shaken they make a defiant sound. My capsule made no sound so my mother and I checked the entire bottle and found two more made no sound, we opened each of them one capsule was completely empty, and the other two contained a sugar like substance and cotton like material.has anyone else had kadian or medication from Actavis that was tampered with. ## The capsules are supposed to contain little pellets, as you described. Have yo...
I used to take oxycodone and oxycontin but they are impossible to fine. I switched to methadone and diladid and am now having trouble finding dilaudid 8 mg. Is there something I can substitute four them. I have severe pain and have been on pain meds for 20 yrs. I do not take more than prescribed or sell my meds. Can you help me please ## I really wish I had some idea to help you, but this has been going on all over Florida recently and there has been no definitive answers given as to why, but regardless of what narcotic medication it is, everyone is having problems getting their prescriptions filled. Learn more Methadone details here. Learn more Dilaudid details here. I am so sorry that you are suffering. The only other suggestion I can really make is to see if maybe your insurance comp...
I have been on Oxycodone 15mg 6X per day for 9 yrs & MS Contin 30mg 2 X per day for maybe 4 yrs. I went for the appt as I do EVERY month & see all kinds of wrong stuff going on, mind my own Business. Ok so patients are coming out all Pissy, Angry & upset. Again I don't say anything but now it's my appt time, well it was scheduled for 9:00AM it was 11:45AM & Dr said he no longer is prescribing any more oxycodone, Percocet, Endocet & even Vicodan! I left with my MS Contin 30MG! Now I'm afraid I will go into withdrawals & suffer a seizure. He said next month he might give me Dilaudid or Fentynal Patch. I'm so confused. Can anyone on this post/page HELP ME PLEASE? ## Hi Karen, I'm sorry to hear about the issues you are having with your doctor. Unf...
I have been on oxycontin... in the past but have moved to opana. The withdrawls are unbelievable! Ive been on the opana for approximately 6years...frankly im sick n tired of being sick n tired. Its ruined my life, as well as loosing my children. I want help but being broke and no insurance..I feel im stuck between a rock n a hard place... can anyone recommend any help? It would be greatly appreciated. ## Hello, Mary! How are you? I'm very sorry about what you're going through, but kudos for realizing that you need help. Since you have no insurance and are short money, I'd actually suggest looking into your local Methadone clinics. They get funding to help people like you and are generally much cheaper than Suboxone, which has to be prescribed by a private doctor. And, as thi...
If I have taken a Tylenol 3 earlier and had no relief, how long do I wait to take a Percocet 10/325mg pill? ## See what it says on your Tylenol 3 dosage. It depends on the amount of acetominophen in both pills. You cannot exceed 4,00 mg per day. A 10/325 Percocet- you can technically take them together. If you look at an Extra Strength Tylenol bottle, you can take 1,000 mg at a time. The Percocet alone is ok at 10 mg. Doctors can prescribe the Percocet alone although it is frowned upon. If you have ever been told that you have liver damage, call your doctor. ## What Skeeter stated about the Acetaminophen/Tylenol is correct, you should not exceed 4,000mgs in a 24 hour period, and each dose of the regular release formulations should not exceed 1,000mgs per dose. Ref: MedlinePlus Acetamin...
I have a friend that takes 24 pink percocets a day 720 pills a month an her doctor prescribed them to be taken like that can that harm her. ## If this is what her doctor recommended for her, then I'd imagine she must be in some serious debilitating pain without it. However, what really concerns me about this doctor's approach is that each percocet tablet contains a minimum 325mgs of Acetaminophen. At the dosage she's taking in, that's an alarming 7,800mgs of Acetaminophen within 24hrs. Enough to cause some serious liver damage. Her doctor may have ignored the warning label, but it's been clearly stated by the FDA as well as drug manufacturers NOT to exceed 4,000mgs of Acetaminophen within a 24hr period and NOT to exceed 1000mgs in a single dose. These numbers a far b...
I have a teva pill, supposedly 50 mg tramadol - for my back. It has "teva" on one side and on the back of pill "I" and two dots and a line through it. Can you tell me what this is exactly? ## Hello Ashley, So I went to the Teva manufacturer's website to look up what a 50mg tramadol looks like, unfortunately it doesn't match what you described at all. A 50mg tramadol tablet from Teva is a white football shaped pill with the imprint TV;58. On the other hand I was able to find a Carbamazepine 200 MG Oral Tablet that sort of matches what your talking about. I'll like a picture and some information below about this drug and see if it's what you have. (NDC: 0093-0109) Active Ingredients: Carbamazepine Inactive Ingredients: - silicon dioxide - croscarmellose so...

hey everybody. A pain management patient. And I am trying to find a new doctor right now I am trying to find a doctor hopefully in the West Bank area and who is a generous Dr. And compassionate. I have received M30s, oxycodone 30mg immediate release, otherwise known as Roxicodone 30mgs. These were dispensed by an FDA licensed pharmacy. But there is no effect whatsoever and I am quite confused. How could a licensed pharmacy legally possess and distribute a tablet that is a fake imitation not made by Mallinckrodt? I know the FDA is corrupt but Jesus this has gotten quite bad. I guess that it could be a recall, but these are definitely scored and identified as Mallinckrodt so what is going on here? ## What are you saying? I take the medication and I have no problem with it. Now i am wondering. Is it sugar pills?? If so that is a legal issue, and I would jump on it. This has totally gotten uncontrolled. Pain patients get stopped suddenly off their meds they have been on for years. ...

I had been on Watson 10/325 for a few months for chronic shoulder neck pain. Yesterday I got a new prescription and CVS filled it with an A333 long pill (Actavis). Now I find ~ after questioning the pharmacist and scouring the Internet ~ that Watson is no longer available and {I also find} that the pills I received are probably Actavis' newly released abuse-deterrent pill. This was dispensed as a regular generic version of my Percocet prescription....of which nobody mentioned the switch. After taking one I became very ill, dizzy, sweats and had difficulty breathing for the better part of the day ~ none of which ever occurred with the Watson pills. Can you confirm that Watson will no longer be manufacturing the 10/325 Oxy and that these are actually the alleged "test" run of ...
