small white tablet with 44 438 on them Found twice now in son's bedroom. He says they belong to his friend and are for headaches.

Your son is correct, this tablet contains 200mgs of Ibuprofen, a generic or store brand of Advil. (NDC 50844-438)

Inactive Ingredients:

- Starch, Corn
- Hypromellose
- Lactose
- Magnesium Stearate
- Polydextrose
- Polyethylene Glycol
- Povidone
- Stearic Acid
- Triacetin

Yes, you are definitely correct on that. For future reference, though, I will tell you that any tablets you find marked with a 44 that is followed by additional numbers, either on the same or opposite sides of the pill, are all over the counter items, generally from LNK International.

This company does not make any prescription medications.

I received Oxycodone w/APAP 10/325 but the pill that came in the bottle was a round white pill with 44 438 on it. My previous prescription was the same but the pill was oblong and the imprint was 10/325 on one side and M523 on the other. Are these medications the same?
