No registration is required and your identity remains anonymous.I am 46 and hv been diagnosed with severe lumbar spinal stenosis, protruding disc, etc. I have taken aspirin, tylenol, t3, ibuprophen, tramodol, anti - depressants, muscle relaxers, and vicodin most recent along with the Fentanyl patch 25mg. This is the first time in my life I've had a significant relief of pain. The problem is that the pain is coming back after being on these 2 meds for about 3months. My doctor is hesitant about giving any other narcotics in addition to the patch. I'd like to know if anyone knows what other narcotic works well with the patch and how do I suggest this to my doctor without her being suspicious. ## It is normal for your body to get used to whatever dosage you are currently taking and for you to require a medication adjustment. There is no precise ...
I HAD RECTACELE SURGERY. I ALSO HAVE SEVERE BACK PROBLEMS. I TAKE 1 OXYCOD/ACETAMIN EVERY 4 HOURS AS NEEDED FOR PAIN. CAN I ALSO TAKE 1 200MG IBUPROFEN WITH IT? THE OXYCOD/ACETAMIN IS 5-325MG. ## Hello, Carol! How are you? They can be taken together, as long as your doctor approves, but since the Ibuprofen can cause some blood thinning and increase your risk of bleeding, it's always best to double check with your doctor, before doing so. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. This pill has no effect on my pain! I'm in so much pain that I can barely stand it! This can not be percocet! Why isn't it working when it says percocet?! I had knee surgery May 10th and this pain is unbelievable! ## Hello, Anna! How are you? Not every medication works for everyone that tries it, there's also a chance that the dosage isn't high enough to alleviate your pain, this tablet contains 5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Have you informed your doctor? You may need to try a higher dosage, or a different medication.
I need to know what that pill is too! Did you find out?? ## Hello, John! How are you? Is the marking possibly CPC? Can you please double check? It's the logo used by Contract Pharmacal Corp, they make various over the counter products. For example their 500mg Acetaminophen tablet, which is a generic for Tylenol, is round, white, has CPC over a score line and 546 below the score. Does this match the tablet in question? The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness and headache. ## I'm pretty positive it's not CPC. It has a swirled design over the whole front side of the pill and a quarter scored marks on the other side.
I take Norco 7.5's three times a day for Crohn's disease the constipation is wonderful for me!! I worry about the Tylenol, is there something safer, but effective and with the side effect of constipation? ## Hello, Yankee! How are you? Yes, there are many opiates available that might work for you, but don't include Tylenol/Acetaminophen. Some examples are Tramadol, Oxycodone, Morphine and Codeine. You could try asking your doctor about switching. The FDA classifies these medications as narcotic analgesics, so they carry the risk of being habit forming and you may also experience other side effects, such as nausea, dizziness and headache. Is there anything else I can help with?
I'm prescribed 10/325 oxycodone max 3 daily for breakthrough pain and 15 mg methadone 3 times a day. All's great but I'm not always taking the breakthrough meds. Will there be an issue when getting lab work? I never over take my meds, just sometimes take less oxycodone. ## Make sure to inform your doctor, before they do any lab work. That way they know what levels they should be looking at. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I need to know if it's ok to take this medication Vicodin ES 7.5- 300 mg cause I'm going to have post markings done on Thursday and I'm having back pain. Also I would like to know if Acetaminophen - Codeine #300 is also an alternative, do they contain aspirin? ## Hello, Tito! How are you? Vicodin contains Acetaminophen (Tylenol) and Hydrocodone and the other contains exactly what you listed, Acetaminophen (Tylenol) and Codeine, so neither contain Aspirin. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Verwon thanks for your response
I have been taking Excalgo, 12 mg, every morning. Also, dilaudid 4 mg, 3 times a day for break through pain. Most of my doctors appt. are in the morning. I take the Excalgo about 1hour or so before my appt. For the past 2 months, my doctor is telling me that it is not in my urine test. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE? My appt. last week, he completely had taken my pain meds away, leaving me to deal with severe pain and withdrawal from the meds. I have been on pain meds, for over 20 years, my dose goes up, goes down, or meds get changed. I have scoliosis, and was fused when I was younger. Over the years, and after giving childbirth, it progressively gotten worse. I had to leave my job as a secretary/stenographer for 18 years, because I could not sit for any period of time. I have LSE I started on Hydrocodone 7.5's for chronic body pain, i don't know how to count when to take next schedule dosage? which i take every 8 hours i get confused ? ## Hello, Kim! How are you? I would suggest writing down the time, when you take one, that way you can look back at your notes to see if it is time to take the next one, or not. As to the specific count, for instance, if you took one at 8am, your next dose would be at 4pm, then the next at midnight. If you're taking them regularly, then it may be easier for you to do it that way and keep a consistent schedule of when you take them. If you have a smart phone, there are also some free prescription reminder apps that you can download, which you can set to your remind you to take it every 8 hours. Then you don...

How much urine needs to be in the cup for the lab to test for ETG?.....I could only put a splash in the cup, less than a 16th of an inch....also I'm taking a ethonal based steroid....as suspected the initial indication was positive for alcohol,..I'm also on pain meds: Morphine, Percocet, Gabapentin, Valium, and Trazodone....... I just had major back surgery March 18th of this year...They again always have me taking steroids along with pain meds.......See I do NOT consume alcohol. I have not touched a drop in two years....I'm on probation for a DWI (2010).... So I have two questions..... How much urine is needed in the cup (because I don't think there is enough in it for the lab..probably be dried up before it gets there, but probation insisted it was enough, and I don...
Just wanted to know which one is stronger and by how much? Thanks, ## Hello, Dale! How are you? Technically, neither. However, for some people that Acetaminophen in Percocet can augment the action of the Oxycodone, so it may be more effective and could be the same as them taking 12 or 13mgs of the Oxycodone. But, it doesn't work that way for everyone. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I'm looking for a doctor that will be willing to help me ## Thats the SAME,DRUG. I'm trying to find where to buy an oval, orange Tramadol APAP pill with 083 embossed on one side and KALI on the other. Can the manufacturer be identified from these markings? Thank you. ## This tablet contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 37.5mgs of Tramadol, the active ingredients in Ultracet. And yes, the imprints also enable the manufacturer to be identified, in this case it is made by Par Pharmaceutical Inc. Is there some specific reason you need one by this manufacturer? ## This particular formulation of generic tramadol is more potent than other generic versions of the same thing. Both my wife and mother in law have taken this pill for years (fibromyalgia) and have been switched to other generics from time to time when the pharmacy would change their supplier. In every case th...
i found in my brothers room small black pills. they are round and have no markings on them. what are they? they were in an oxycodone bottle, but i think they may be a different type of pill. i'm not sure if it really is oxycodone or if he took those from somewhere and put it in a pill bottle he already had because he has pill bottles all over the place! ## If there are no markings at all I would think that they are either a vitamin or a compounded medication. Either way you wont know for sure what it is. ## Just to add some clarification.... The found pills were most likely some type of over the counter product. The reason I say this is due to the fact that prescription tablets in the U.S. are required to have imprints on them to enable their identification, in case of emergency. An...
I'm getting information online stating that it will, then info stating that it wont... Can someone just give me the right info... I don't see how oxycodone will come up on a 5 panel home drug test if its a opioid? Someone help. I get randomly drug tested soon and idk if I will fail or not.. My parents are drug testing me.
Updated in OxycodoneI took one 5 mg. Dilaudid on Tuesday at around 8-9pm in the evening. I was just called in, with a 24 hour window, to do a RANDOM urine screen at my methadone clinic. I have to be there by Friday at 11 am. I know the standard is 4-5 days, but I have read that it can be out of your system at 3 days as well. If I drink a lot of water, and take vitamins (so that my urine will not be too clear, and this does work at my particular clinic) do I stand a chance of providing a CLEAN sample. So Tuesday evening..............sample on Friday by 11 am. Also, I am a 6 level patient, meaning I have all of my carries, I have done quite well............this was a very random, stupid mess up. ## I was told by my sons friend he took dilaudid if I drug test him, what should it come positive for? I believe h...
