I am a NC resident. I grew up in LA where my dad still lives. On a recent trip to visit him he had to go to the ER and stayed in the hospital 6 days. My stay in LA has lasted an additional 6 weeks. My Dr sent me with a typed prescription which was filled with no problem. Bc I had to stay an additional 3 weeks NY Dr described my prescription. Now they will only fill it for a 10 day supply. Fortunately, I will be back in NC so I will not run out but my question is what am I supposed to do on my next trip? And God forbid I get here and something happens With my dad and I am stuck here again longer than my anticipated stay. I have never lost a prescription or had a drug problem. I do not understand all the trouble associated with hydrocodone. I (unfortuately ) have been on the medicine sinc...

MY pharmacist gave me E7 oxycodone green pills are they 30 milligrams or all day 15 milligrams RT 30 milligrams are already 15 milligrams for the East 7th oxycodone ## MY pharmacy gave me e7 oxycodone they're supposed to be 30mg. Are the 15mg. Or 30mg.? ## Hello, Serg! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Epic Pharma and they list them as containing 15mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I'm a 46yr old mother to a daughter who has a rare disease and has had twelve brain surgeries. I was involved in a bad car wreck in 1985. Ironically, I had just turned fifteen two days previously. I've had multiple back surgeries, many trips to Dr's. I went a pain Dr. 3X's a week for a whole year. They would have start IV's and the whole spill. I've had a Spinal Cord Stimulator that was unsuccessful. Now, I'm at a point that my back is beyond fixing. I need at least five disc replaced, I have total nerve damage in my left leg. The right leg is its must as bad, spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease in every level. I also have scar tissue compressing my spinal column. I've had hundreds of injections, myelograms, EMG's and the list goes on. I'm ...

I want to know if they have done something different to the Tylenol 3 to make people say they are comparable to hydrocodone 500/325 and why would my stomach not handle the codeine in the Tylenol 3s but the hydrocodone doesn't upset my stomach ## There is no 500/325 Hydrocodone, did you mean 5/325? No, they have not done anything different, but some medications work better for some people than others, which is why there are usually multiple choices available in any given drug class. For example, when given Dilaudid in the hospital, it gave me a severe headache every time, however, it is what they often use in the ER for people that come in with severe migraines. That said, that can also apply to the side effects, while Hydrocodone doesn't bother you, the Codeine in the Tylenol 3 ...

I have a strange question which I can't really talk about with my doctor. I have been diagnosed as Bipolar. I am on anti depressants, anti psychotics and mood stablizors. I also take oxycodone occasionally but the weird part is it acts like speed in me. I get talkative, energetic and very spastic. It has done this well before I was on any psych drugs so it can't be off of a combo effect. Is it just my brain chemistry is screwed up or is it common? ## Hello, Norm! How are you? Medications are known to sometimes cause the opposite of their intended effect in some people that take them, for instance a medication to lower blood pressure could cause further elevations in some people. It's not exactly common, but nor is it really rare, it's kind of in the middle somewhere, acc...

I have back problems for which they prescribe hydrocodone for. I keep them on hand for times of major discomfort to allow time to see doctor and not go running to emergency room. I just realized the last one I have is different than the two I took last night and this morning. I see they are same strength but want to know if it's OK to take since they are made by different companies. This one has m365 on it and the ones I took had 3604 printed on it. I hope this reaches someone this evening as my appointment not till late tomorrow and would like to rest easy this evening if possible. Just dont want to mix something i shouldnt. ThankYou in advance. ## Hello, Matt! How are you? Yes, that's fine, they can be taken together. Pharmacies often mix medications from different manufacture...

I have breast cancer that spread to my bones. For awhile now I've been taking norco 10's. They aren't working as well as they used to...so my question is what would be the next step up for pain control? I have a dr appt in a few days and was wondering what he might put me on? ## Hello, Hootsie! How are you? I am very sorry about your medical condition and that you're in so much pain. It's hard to guess what your doctor might recommend, but there is a time released formulation of Hydrocodone that's available, without the Acetaminophen, in higher doses, so if it works well for you, that might be the way to go. It's called Zohydro. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, ...

Will a 75 mcg/hr fentanyl patch help with dilaudid withdrawal? ## Tramadol 50 mg x 2 tablets is the only thing that works for me when I can't find a pharmacy to fill my Dilaudid. I have heard it helps with Oxy and other pain reliever withdrawals. The stupid Commonwealth of Kentucky has outlawed Tramadol and Lyrica is highly regulated because it helps with withdrawals. Yes, they are living in the stone age. So, Tramadol must work for others as well. Your doctor should prescribe it, it is available at any pharmacy, doesn't help that much with the pain, but you won't get sick. ## Fentanyl is much stronger, so that would actually be the wrong direction to go. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, diz...

which is worst for your liver norco or soboxone (bottom line)!!!!!! which drug goes the least damage to your liver.strieght answer PLEASE ## Hello, Mike! How are you? There is no way to pick one, both risk causing possible liver damage, impaired liver function, or full liver failure, as reported by the FDA. The best thing to do is to discuss it with your doctor, so they can help you decide which one is safest for you to try. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have been prescribed tramadol 50 mg and hydrocodone 5-325 for migraines. Tramadol is always my first go to and if that doesn't work then I try the hydro. However, the tramadol is expired and has been for a year (I am in college and dealt with moving etc so don't have a doctor at the moment to get a new prescription that is unexpired.) I am literally having one of the worst migraines of my life which its so bad that the pain woke me up even after taking an (expired) tramadol. I took the expired tramadol at 10pm and it is now 2 am. Would it be okay for me to now take a hydrocodone after 4 hours (usually I wait 6 but I believe the tramadol did not work because it's expired?) Normally I would just go to the ER when it is this bad however I am taking summer courses and have an ...

I did a morphine 500mg pill an hour ago can I do a suboxone strip 8mg now ? ## What did you take? There is no 500mg Morphine pill available. Can you please double check? When taking Suboxone, you need to be in full withdrawal, or it could throw you into dangerous precipitated withdrawals. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation.

I have been on oxycodone 15mg for awhile now and it's always been light green with a 214 on it. Today I got my prescription and it was changed to peach w 113 on it. What's the difference? Why do they do that ## The only difference is the manufacturer, the tablet you received still contains 15mgs of Oxycodone, it's just made by a different company. Since this is a generic, there are many companies that manufacture it and, when they need to restock their supply, your pharmacy will order from whichever company is offering the cheapest prices. It's how they keep costs as low as possible for customers that do not have insurance. Are there any other questions? ## I got the same Peach 113s. I dont like them as much as the Green A 214s. To me the Green Ones are stronger&last...

WHAT IS NORMAL DOSAGE A MONTH TO GET OFF DILAUDID IF TAKING 12MG EVERY THREE HOURS FOR LAST SIX MONTHS IF I DONT TAKE FOR 5 HOURS I AM IN PAIN AND SICK VERY SCARY ## Dilaudid contains the active ingredient Hydromorphone, it is a narcotic pain reliever and may cause side effects such as: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and constipation. As to a time period, there is really no set rule for this, it can vary from person to person. Some doctors do not wean a person off, some do. What has your doctor suggested? Whenever someone stops taking narcotics, it should be done in a very slow taper, to prevent the worst of the withdrawal effects and rebound pain symptoms. ## is it usual to stop dilaudid 5 times a day after several years and start endocet every 6 hours with zonegran at night. My prescription is usually Norco 5-325 MAL. NOW THE PHARMACIST GAVE ME NORCO 5-325 QUA. WHATS THE DIFFERENCE? ## Hello, Chase! How are you? The only difference is that they have been manufactured by different companies. In these cases Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and Qualitest Pharmaceuticals, respectively. When a medication is available as a generic, it is usually manufactured by several different companies, because it creates market competition to help keep prices down for uninsured people. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I just took a urine test for probation. It was an instant test with the panel right on the cup. I take oxycodone 30 and oxycontin 20mg but I also tested positive for morphine. I have only taken my prescribed meds. She is sending it out to a lab for verification but I dont understand why morphine showed up which she said usually means heroin which I have never used. Does anyone know if this is common for the instant test to come up positive for things u dont take? ## I took a test came up positive for heroin which I have never taken, they sent it out came back false positive. If you eat a bun that have those little seeds on them they will give you a false positive and blood pressure medication can give you a false methadone results.
