Problem Filling My Hydrocodone
UpdatedI am a NC resident. I grew up in LA where my dad still lives. On a recent trip to visit him he had to go to the ER and stayed in the hospital 6 days. My stay in LA has lasted an additional 6 weeks. My Dr sent me with a typed prescription which was filled with no problem. Bc I had to stay an additional 3 weeks NY Dr described my prescription. Now they will only fill it for a 10 day supply. Fortunately, I will be back in NC so I will not run out but my question is what am I supposed to do on my next trip? And God forbid I get here and something happens With my dad and I am stuck here again longer than my anticipated stay. I have never lost a prescription or had a drug problem. I do not understand all the trouble associated with hydrocodone. I (unfortuately ) have been on the medicine since 2008. And I hate it but I need it (unfortunately) . what are my options for future visits out of my normal state?
