ive been on every pain medication I can think of.none of them work.my docter no longer knows what to give me.im in constant terrible pain. ## Hello, Lisa! How are you? I am so very sorry that you're in so much pain. The strongest that is currently available would be Fentanyl, it is over 80 times stronger than Morphine. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Have you consulted a specialist? You may do better with a pain pump or spinal stimulator that are constantly working.

What is this pill? It's small and brown like the color of ibuprofen and has 25 on one side ## Hi Jackie, I located a round dark red pill marked with 25 on one side and blank on the other to be identified as Phenazopyridine hydrochloride 100 mg; used in the treatment of interstitial cystitis. Manufacturer: Breckenridge Pharmaceutical, Inc You can view a photo of the pill by running a search on google images for "Phenazopyridine red pill 25". Does this sound like a viable match considering the color? ## Could also be Seroquil 25mg. Small reddish tan with 25 imprint on one side blank on otherside ## Seroquel, I've seen them I work in a pharmacy. I think it's a generic form.

Is tramodol an opioid? Is it addictive. Can u dri k liquor. My doctor has told me to take it. I like to habe a drink in the evening. Will this have an adverse effect? ## Hello, Mary! How are you? Yes, it is classified by the FDA as an opioid and they warn that it does carry the risk of being habit forming. Drinking can potentiate the side effects, so you may experience more nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth than usual. If your doctor approves of your imbibing, while taking it, please make sure you will not be driving or operating any dangerous machinery. Is there anything else I can help with?

I am currently taking 30mg oxycodone 4x daily. I have failed back surg syndrome and many other herniated discs in most levels of entire spine. The recent CDC crackdown is effecting the way docs in Arizona write for opiods here. No one wants to write for immediate release oxycodone (from what I've heard, it's due to people overdosing, selling them, and abusing them). I happen to be someone who takes them as prescribed, and I'm being punished bc of the "others who've screwed it up for ppl like me". My new pain management doc wants to move me to Fentanyl Patches (25mcg @ 10/month), Opana ER 10mg quantity of 60/mo, AND morphine ER (not sure of dose). This seems excessive, and that's where I'm going with this. I'm on Medicare with no Rx coverage. My 30mg o...

I'm been on prescription OxyContin 40 mg 2x daily for pain for the past few years. I'm going to the doctor tomorrow because I feel that my breathing is not quite right, but I'm afraid of the repercussions! What is the procedure for this type of situation? Will the Dr stop the pills??? Will I need to detox?:( ## Hello, Vixen! How are you? What type of breathing issue are you having? This medication can cause depression of the central nervous system, so it may cause your breathing to be more shallow and slower than usual, as reported by the FDA. If it is causing it, you may just need to try a different medication. Is this the only medication you're on? ## What does breathing depression feel like? Can that goes on for weeks? When does it become dangerous? Will decreasing th...

Just wondered if Zomorth is stronger than Sevredol as just started to take Zomorph and now experiencing diarrhoea which I never had with Sevredol ## Hello, Chris! How are you? Both of these medications contain Morphine, they are just different name brands for it. The U.S. FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. They also carry the risk of being habit forming. Diarrhea is very unusual. Are you on any other medications? Has anything else changed recently, such as your diet or exercise regimen?

Which is stronger? My new insurance won't pay for oxycontin and substituted generic percoset but it doesn't seem to work as well. Is it my imagination? ## Hello, John! How are you? Oxycodone and Oxycontin are the same medication, Oxycontin is just a name brand for the time released version of it, so the 30mgs is stronger, it's just released slowly over an 8 hour period, as compared to the regular release that is released all at once. The FDA classifies it as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. You may want to ask our doctor about possibly trying MS Contin, it is a time released formulation of Morphine that is also available as a generic, so most insura...

What is the difference between the pale blue tablet that says E7 and the regular mint green oxycodone 15 mg? Is one stronger than the other by any chance? Or are they exactly the same just different colors and a little different shape because of the manufacture? ## It has just been manufactured by a different company, in this case Epic Pharma LLC. Generics are commonly manufactured by multiple pharmaceutical companies, because it creates market competition to help keep prices lower. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

My podiatrist gave me an ibuprofen transdermal patch four years ago. It was great. It was of course experimental, then. I would like to purchase this patch now for my ankle, but I do not know where to purchase it. ## Unfortunately, at this time, it is not yet available. It is estimated to be on the market in about another year and a half, give or take. The trial, however, did prove it to be very effective, since it delivers the Ibuprofen to the exact area of the body that it is needed and doesn't cause many side effects. The ones listed by the FDA, include skin irritation, redness and headache. There are gels and creams available that contain Ibuprofen, you may be able to try one of them, if your doctor approves. Is there anything else I can help with? ## thank you. I came to the sa...

When I take the yellow Norco 10-325, I usually wait about 30 minutes till they take affect and most often feel somewhat energized and a bit more relaxed. When I take the P110 10-325 hydrocodone, I feel lethargic and often drowsy and sad. Why is there such a difference? ## Well, there can be some fluctuation in the amount of the active ingredients when go from a name brand, such as Norco, to a generic, like the one with the IP 110 marking. Hydrocodone is a narcotic and you may actually be getting a little more of it in the generic one, so that may be why you feel more lethargic and drowsy when you take it. Learn more Norco details here. If it's that problematic, you could try asking your doctor to prescribe it as brand medically necessary, to avoid the problem. Are there any other qu...

I was prescribed percocet 5mg as a post surgery medication. It is labeled to take 1-2 every 4-6 hours as needed for pain, 60ct. How long should it last? ## Hmmm, I'll try doing the math two ways. First, I'll assume that you are taking the lowest possible dose, which is 1 every 6 hours. And then I'll run the numbers assuming you are taking the highest possible dose, which is 2 every 4 hours. Here we go: 1 tablet every 6 hours = 4 tablets per day. 60 tablets divided by 4 = 15 days. 2 tablets every 4 hours = 12 tablets per day. 60 tabs / 12 = 5 days. So your answer is between 5 and 15 days depending on how high and how frequent your dose is. Can someone please check my math?? (LOL) Hope you have a quick recovery! Is your doctor or nurse recommending anything specific?

Hello! If anyone can help I would be so thankful! My husband is looking for a doctor that will prescribe pain meds for his back pain. I must explain that he is only looking for something to get him through while going through physical therapy. He does not like taking pills and his ultimate goal is to recover through PT and be med free. His doctor gave him tramadol and it works on his better days, but it is the days the pain flares that he is in need of something stronger. He tried several different non opiate meds that she prescribed but none have worked. The doctor just refuses to give even a small script for the days that are unbearable. She is against the addictive stuff and that is understandable, but this situation is life altering and quite miserable! We live in Waterford and have...

What gives? They jacked price to $999. I only use 2 a day for breakthrough pain but can't take generic. Then I read they were going to discontinue Percocet & their stocks aren't doing well. Maybe if they lowered their prices, more people could afford. I take Oxycontin 20mg every 8 for chronic bladder pain. I try to stay away from more than one Advil a day because I'm anemic & it makes me worse. I haven't increased Oxycontin in 2 years. I also have severe fibromyalgia.
