I have been using Fentanyl Patch for over a year now. I am up to 75 mcgs a day. I have been using Tegaderm over the patches to keep them off. They work very well. I have been using those almost as long as I have been on the patch. About 1 1/2-2 months ago, I started experiencing burns on my skin where the patch is. My mom calls them "chemical burns." It's hard to have the patches on as they itch so much and when I take them off, my skin is very red and then gets very scaly and starts to peel off (while still being very itchy.) I've not had a problem at all before this, and I have not brought it up to my doctor yet. Is it "wetness" that is doing this? Is it getting too hot underneath the patch because of the Tegaderm? I ran short on meds this month and pain doc gave me a urine drug test which included nucynta. Will she drop me. I cannot function at all w/out meds. ## Now did this turn out for you? Um facing the exact same issue. Ran out Saturday am and took the surprise urine test this morning which is a Tuesday. ## I took Nucynta a week ago, then found out I had a surprise drug test this morning. This is the highest dosage unit of immediate release morphine made anywhere, just the one brand, VERMOR-60 by Verve Healthcare. I take them simply because they are much cheaper than any other morphine sulphate I have ever come across, and I need three 'rescue' doses of an opioid analgesic daily since my Oxycontin 120mg tablets seem to last only 6 hours, and not the twelve claimed on the box... Does Kratom have any side effects if used with medication like Xarelto ## To my knowledge there aren't any official drug interactions listed between the two substances. Personally, I started taking Kratom a few months ago (infrequently) for muscle pain, but have developed a good understanding of how it works with my body at specific doses. Kratoms effects are said to be similar to that of opiates, but since everyone is subject to respond differently with any medication, I probably wouldn't recommend mixing pharmaceuticals with potent herbs like Kratom without first consulting a doctor or naturopath who know their pharmacology well enough to make an informed judgement call. These pills look like they might be really old. They are huge not like other pain meda. I took 3 pills accidental because I read the label wrong. I'm so worried to even go to sleep ugh. Can anything happen to me? Can I still take my sleeping pills, muscle relaxers and my pain pill wish is percocet 20mg... please help! I've never been so worried.:-( ## You'll be fine. 60 MG is still a starting dose. My mother is almost crippled and is having a hard hard time finding a doctor in kentucky to take her. She has a mri that shows every disc in her back either gone or shattered and cant walk, yet cannot seem to find a doctor in a pain clinic who will take her without a docs referral. The ones here only want to write her hyrdrocodone which she had for two years and give her back shots that she had years ago only making it worse... she refuses the shots and those meds do nothing for her at all by now. Was willing to travel to virginia or west virginia or any other state that may take her since it seemed ky has closed its doors on ppl who actually need a strong pain med. I have been taking 120 10 mg oxycodone a month and 60 10 mg hydrocodone a month for 6 months. Today is wed and I just took the last I have until Friday. They are prescribed by a doctor along with 2 mg of xanax a day. I may have to take a urine test friday afternoon or monday at the latest. I am 6'1 and 240 lbs.
