The pill looks like a vicodin. It's coated and has nothing on one side. The other side has #44175 on it.... Can someone tell me if it is a lortab or hydrocodone? ## No, it is not. This is actually an over the counter medication that contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a generic, or store brand of Extra Strength Tylenol. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, and headache. Is there anything else I can help with? ## You are wrong this was out before the manufacturer changed and was bought out thus changing the pill to acetaminophen only, witch btw the pill in reference is blank on one side.

I had surgery and was given Valium as well as codeine for the pain. Only took codeine for a day or so and last time I took Valium was yesterday -- in total for less than a week. I am wanting to begin my contrave prescription but want to make sure there are no contraindications as I know Valium has quite a long half-life and am concerned about mixing chemicals in my body. Suggestions as to how long I need to wait before I start would be appreciated . I am a Canadian resident in Costa Rica since 1984. I have a lot of med. problems. No thyroid (papillary carsinoma), ACFA patient, high blood pressure, sick sinus of the heart syndrome, pacemaker, 2 heart valves need replacement, abdominal hernia, needs surgery. foot bunions and distorted feet waiting surgery many years, shortness of breath, electrical pain from osteo arthritis in all joints, and pelvis, impinchment of pelvis, worn out bone surfaces at joints, using a lot of meds for above conditions. Using acetaminophen with codeine, 4 tablets in 24 hours, to cover the pain. Less won't work. No, this is not an anti-inflammatory. The FDA classifies it as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I have been taking Lyrica for prophylactic migraine managment as well as neuropathic pain following discectomy of T8-9 and T10-11. I was previously on gabapentin and noticed cognitive sxs, and minimal effects for pain. After starting Lyrica, I almost immediately noticed decreased pain...I thought it was a miracle! I also had decreased migraines. Now that I have been on Lyrica 100mg BID, my weight gain has become unmanagable. I have gained 40 lbs, and I am only 5'3. I weigh more now than I did when pregnant with any of my children. I have also experienced many of the side effects mentioned in the discussion boards. I've been hearing about FDA rules or a scale of effectiveness of opiates. Does anyone have information on what this scale is and what effects this has on the customer managing their pain levels? ## @Susie, I may be wrong, but it sounds to me like you might be referring to an "equianalgesic (or opioid) chart", which you can find online with a simple google search. Basically all it is a reference that compares things like potency, efficacy, duration of effects, half-life, etc, from one opioid/opiate to another. I found a white oval onlong pill with an N on one side and a 60 on the other side and cant find it anywhere.. If i took tylonel with a 15mg oxycodone will it be the same as taking the regular percocets? ## Hello, Kendra! How are you? What is this new pain pill with a 30 mg imprint and backwards e / 8? I can't find it online. ## @Lel, Please correct me if I'm wrong in assuming this, but it sounds like a counterfeit or foreign 30mg Oxycodone tablet. I have seen real round blue 30mg Oxycodone hydrochloride tablets with a crescent shaped "E" followed by a vertical score line "|" and the number "8" all on one side, while the other is blank... The only discrepancies vs that which you described is that the "E" on this pill is not backwards by any means (nor lowercase)...and the 30mg imprint is not shown. However if you are able to provide any info on the shape and/or color of the pill as well then that may help narrow down potential matches. Does anyone else here recognize this?

How can this happen? Was just treated like a piece of dirt and they would not do another test. They just wanted to send me to an addiction specialist and would not fill my meds. ## Have been taking 1 30mg oxymorphone a day for three day I've split it up so I am only taking about 7.5 mg every 6 hours ,I do have a script for oxycodone and have urine test tomorrow,I taking my last dose of oxymorphone 12 hours before my test then taking 20mg of oxycodone 1 hr before it,do you think I'll pass for just oxycodone or will my levels be to high,what can I do to off set this and pass the pee test? ## This is very conmon when a cheap urine analysis is used. Your doctor should if sent it to a lab.

My husband is taking suboxone after being prescribed morphine for years by a doctor for treatmenmt of migraines. He told the doctor he didnt want o to be on the morphine anymore because it was ascrewing up his lifwe, so then he was put on suboxone. He is not an addict ny nature but given powerful drugs by a doctor to help him and in turn became addicted, the suboxone was given to get off the morphine. He's drug tested at every appointment and his most recent test was positive for oxymorphone which he absolutely did not take. He was also prescribed trazadone by the same doctor to sleep. Is it possible that the combination of suboxone and trazadone has caused a false positive? I have been taking a generic Suboxone, I tested positive for oxycodone but have not taken that in almost a year. Why is this happening? I am at a loss and stuck in a nightmare!! Please help!! I do not take any thing else at all in the opiate family. Trying to substitute 20mg oxycodone 3x a day with vicodin. How many vicodin a day would equal? ## Hello, Cici! How are you? You should not take more than your doctor has prescribed. The ratio, however, would be 30mgs of the Hydrocodone in the Vicodin to each 20mgs of Oxycodone. The problem is the Acetaminophen that is also in Vicodin, it is dangerous to take too much of it in any 24 hour period. Thus, if the current dose you've been prescribed of Vicodin does not help you, it would be much safer to speak to your doctor about adjusting your dosage, or trying a different medication. Trying to find a doctor to prescribe me oxycodone 30mg. The VA started a new program to stop raising pain medicine dose for some reason. I have been in pain for 6 years now and have been trying to deal with the VA since I left military service.

I stopped taking my norco for 4 days because i believe it is causing my severe headaches. I take my xanax daily. My dr did a urine test & said no benzos showed up at all and sent me to a hospital lab. I took one 7.5mg norco an hour before they called me to go to the hosp. I want the norco to show up, but will an hour be enough time? And why r the xanax not?

Hi, quick lowdown.. I've got a chronic illness and already on 8 Paracetamol + 3 Keral + 3 Caffeine + 1 Lanzol a day.. And today to add to it I got put on steroids (Deltacortril ent) and to start should be 2 tabs three times daily for x amount of days, but with so many tablets, etc.. I got confused and just took the full 6 steroids along with 2 paracetamol + 1 caffeine + 1 Keral.. Should I worry or attend A & E?

Hello. I take Norco 10/325 TID with MS Contin 20mg er BID for chronic back pain, sciatica, degenerative disease. I never get drowsy and feel it does the job because I notice no pain. I recently tried oxycodone with the letter M on one side & 05/52 on the other which I think is 5mg. Which one is stronger? I found a half of a pill in my bottle of men's and can't remember what it was. I am thinking it's from when I had surgery on both hands.
