Long story short, my husband broke a rib and took some of my meds to supplement his so he could continue to work. Now, I'm short, and i have my appointment Friday. This being Tuesday, i figure if i take 4-5 percocet each day it will be enough to show in my system as about the same dosage as my 4 lortab prescription, but is there anything that can tip them off in a urine test that it's a different drug? I'm hoping these test out the same, being from the same family and all... ## If I take 2 norco's on wed and have a urine drug test Friday will they show up? ## They are both narcotics but percocets RRC cousin with acetaminophen Laura tabs are hydrocodone with acetaminophen that means they're two different jobs even though they are both na...
Hi all. I have seen a lot of posts in the drugs forum about Fentanyl withdrawal. I too have been struggling with the withdrawal symptoms for 10 days now. Trust me when I say it DOES and WILL get easier. I know that if you have just recently started a taper or have gone cold turkey because a taper hasn't worked for you, you're probably not feeling very well right now.Trust me when I say it will get better. It may take weeks to finally feel normal again, but the worst will be over before you know it! I was on 100mcg/hr for about a year, and just recently tapered to 12.5 but went through withdrawal anyhow. Here are a few things that might help, and that have helped me get through the worst of it. ****REMEMBER***** To consult your doctor before pulling yourself off any medication :)...
I am in between primary Doctors. I got out of a nursing facility three weeks ago with only two to three days of pain meds. I can't see a Doctor until three weeks from now. I have stasis ulcers on my feet and Degenerative Arthritis which has progressed to bone on bone in both hips. Was on 4 mg Dilaudid,10mg Valium,60mgmorphine. First two were to help me sleep thru the night. Help Until I see the doctor! ## Hello, Tony! How are you doing? I'm sorry that you're in pain. Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, if you require such medications on a long-term ongoing basis, you'll need to see a pain management specialist. A PCP can no longer prescribe them for you. Have you gotten in to see a doctor, yet? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potentia...
I am on 600mg Lyrica per day and believe I am totally addicted to them. I have tried taking more than the prescribed dose to get a "high" - god it is such a great high but I am getting more and more addicted. I feel terrible when I run out or get low on pills. They speed me up so when I have them in abundance I feel great but when I don't, well, it's like hell on earth. Has anyone else on here found they are addicted to Lyrica? Surely the manufacturers know they are on to a good thing here! Oh well, it won't be the first time in my life the big pharma companies have got a hold over me. I think perhaps I should be posting in an addiction forum for help but just thought I would ask on here out of curiosity. ## I've TAKEN lyrica as prescribed for 8 years - I weaned ...
I take endocet 10/325. I gave my sister a few. Now I have to go to my pain management and they are going to give me a urine test to test my levels. Will it make a difference if I use Percocet ip 204 to replace the ones I gave my sister? How far do the test levels go back? ## I have been taking endocet for a few months now. I have an appt. on feb 6th, 2017 and today is jan 2nd. If I stop taking the endocet, will they still find it in my system? I have been in a lot of pain, and was thrown off the program because I consumed marijuana, which I have now stopped for 5 months.
What is a white oblong pill with A333 on it? It is supposed to be a Percocet but feels more like a Hydrocodone to me. ## I agree. It feels like a hydrocodone to me too. It doesn't work nearly as well as the generic Watson 932 I have been taking for pain. ## The pill marked "A333" is in fact listed as generic Percocet (10/325), but I think many others would agree with you that its effects aren't quite up to par with what you would normally expect from this medication. Ever since Actavis bought out Watson, there seems to have been a downgrade in the sheer potency/efficacy of all their pain medications. The FDA also allows a pretty significant variability (20-25%) of the amount of active ingredients found in generic medications. So one scenario could be that Actavis is taki...
I have some really bad sciatic pain from my left knee down to and including my ankle. Last night as I was tossing and turning in bed my leg moved and I heard/felt a popping noise followed by extreme pain not like the sciatica. It felt like my shin bone had broken but it is not painful to touch so must not be broken. Should I take percocet or Lyrica for this new pain? I have the percocet left over from the knee scope on left knee which did not have sciatic pain prior to the scope. The knee meniscus is now bone on bone. I will have to wait another 2/3 weeks for an appointment with a neurosurgeon to see about taking care of the sciatica with a back surgery to take care of disc which has degenerated and is causing the pain in left leg. Please advise! ## Hello, Fairhope! How are you? I'm...
Does lyrica make narcotic pain releavers more lntensely felt ## Lyrica makes me feel drunk too. I couldn't even drive for a while until I slowly got used to the feeling. ## Hi Streak, From what I understand, Lyrica (Pregabalin) does in fact potentiate opiates. To what degree I'm not actually certain, but I'd imagine that it varies for each individual based on one's tolerance and so forth. However, in order to avoid possible overdose related symptoms in combination therapy, I think patients should always try to refrain from taking more than prescribed and maybe consider alternative ways to effectively manage pain along side their current regimen. This will help ensure that tolerance levels remain in check as well. I wish you good health! ## Streak' No it doesn't h...
My husband died from what is described as "the result of a toxic level of oxycodone, 200 ng/mL." How many pills could he have taken? ## Dear Chrissy, My sincere condolences for the loss of your husband. I think the answer to this question (re: how many pills he could've taken) may be subjective based on your husband's tolerance to opiates/opioids, the speed of his metabolism, when he took them relative to the timing of his death, etc. For a chronic pain patient who depends on daily oxycodone use for relief, I'd imagine that the number of pills could've been quite high. However, an individual with no drug history would likely be affected a magnitude greater even on lower doses. Unless you were able to factor in things like metabolism & the timing of his dose, ...
I've been on oxycodone 10 mg 4 times a day for a few years now but I haven't been taking them regularly because my husband needs them more than I do and can't get his own. I have a urine test in 3 weeks. How many and how often do I need to take for it to show up properly for what I am suppose to be taking? ## Does anybody kno how levels work for oxycodone showing up in blood work? My doc said he noticed high levels the last time (I took about 6 15s the past few days ) when I was only suppose to be taking 2 a day. This time I ToOK 5 Sunday and have blood work to b taken Wed. Will high levels show up? ## How long does it take for oxycocodone to show up in your urine ?? ## Mnm, it should start showing up soon after your system has digested and placed it into your blood steam, t...
I have a spinal stimulate with two leads in my back for damaged nerves, mostly on the left side. During back surgery the left side lead was cut, which not only cause more pain for the recovery but was not discovered for 2 weeks. Because of Christmas nothing can be done until Jan.19,2017. Tylenol 4 does ok but it does not last very long, certainly not one every 8 hours. The doctor wants to switch me to morphine 15mg every 8 hours. I do not want to hurt from now until surgery, but I do to want to have a difficult time getting off meds after surgery. I am ready to be well, happy and back to my normal life. Could you detail the differences between the two drugs and the after effects that will have to be over come after surgery in Jan. ## Rose, Happy New Years to you. It's very admirable...
I'm fasting and on a low dose of hydrocodone 5mg once or twice a day. Is this safe? I'm only fasting twice a week, water only. ## Hello, Clarice! How are you? Ideally, this medication should be taken with food, taking it on an empty stomach can cause you to experience more severe side effects, including the nausea, and dizziness, that it can cause, according to the FDA. This medication also carries the risk of being habit forming. What you are fasting so frequently? ## Clarice, Hi hydrocodone can be harsh on your stomach so ideally it should be taken with food to lessen any gastroentestinal distress effects it may cause. Dosage or strength has little to do with the eventual propensity it has to cause unpleasant side effects.Something light like crackers or toast seems to work fo...
I need to know if any drug manufacturers make a 5mg oxycodone pill with the markings 54531 on one side and nothing on the other? ## Hello, Kevin! How are you? No, this tablet is manufactured by Roxane Laboratories and they list it as containing 300mgs of Quetiapine, which is used to treat various mental health disorders. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, somnolence, and weight gain. Is there anything else I can help with?

It's made by Maver ## What kind of pill is this Lorotec what does it mean ## I was given lorotec-f to disolve on my tongue if I had an arthritic attack in my knees. What does it do and what aer the side effects?? ## Lorotec and Lorotec-F both contain the active ingredient Ketorolac, the only difference is that the Lorotec-F is meant to be dissolved in the mouth for faster pain relief. Ketorolac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach irritation. Hi all! A little info of my history: I've been a Hydrocodone user for over a year. A typical daily dose would be 18-20 10mg Norco. I've decided to go cold turkey. On Monday @ 8:30 am I took ONE 8mg Suboxone to hold my withdrawals off while I got things situated before l start WDing. It's been 50 hours since my ONE dose of Suboxone and I still haven't felt any WD's. So my question to you all is in your opinion when shall I anticipate my WD symptoms? ## How did this go for you? Were you fine after 50 hours? ## I have been on Hydrocodone for years. I missed my appointment and it is a holiday. I took about 1mg or less of a suboxone strip because of shakes and withdrawal symptoms... That was about 5 hours ago. I am getting a pill because I do not want to take more of the ...
I am up from Florida for 2 months visiting my parents and I need a Doctor in Wilks-Barre or Scranton who will prescribe percocets 10/325. I get 120 a month back home. My Doctor in Florida will be happy to verify this. I run out of meds tomorrow and I need help. I
Updated in PercocetsI take the 10mg pink Oxycodone and I am on disability for whatever reason DSHS\SSI medical insurance makes me pay 2 out of every 3 months for the 10mg tablets the 3rd month is free Why? The 5 mg tablets are also partially covered only 90 tablets are covered (free). I have a 28 day supply every month #112 if 5mg per my request no more than 4 in 24hr period written on the bottle or #56 10mg with (at my request no more than 2 in 24hr written on bottle.) I was switching back and forth to avoid being charged because without notice they stopped covering the Oxycodone the 1st time I was given my prescription of 112# 5mg they docked my amount to 90 tab because that's all dshs would cover and they refused to give me the remaining 22 because you can't pay cash on a dshs paid script. I wou...
