I decided to dose down & get off of methadone as I did not care for the "clinic" enviroment per say as I was using more for pain then for addicition. I found a dr that prescribed me the pain meds for breakthrough pain and the pill form of methadone 10mg was what I chose but now he is gone as he lost his license which sucks for me because NO ONE will give me anything, not even the methadone unless I go back to the stupid clinc and I so don't want that... DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A DR. that would prescribe anything or just something to get me through life with less pain? I am in the twin cities of Minnesota and I will dri...
a white thin oblong pill with a triangle like symbol ## There are triangle imprints used by several manufacturers, they are usually generic pills and there are far too many for me to be able to post pictures of them. What does the symbol look like? Is it similar to an hourglass? If so, that's the Ivax logo and they make many different generic products. Are there any other markings on the tablet? Like letters or numbers? ## Pink round pill with triangle with p inside the triangle on top /score mark/ 151 on bottom ## Hello.I am pharmacist from Poland, with large passion to my job...Today I found an oval ,white ,10mm lenght,6mm wide pill with imprinted on one side number 2 and there is a letter u,or n inside triangular ,more like shield of a knight shaped logo. In whole my carrer I did...
Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen 10-325 My Pharmacy Costco just slipped me 120 of these Oval Pills Marked U03. They are pure garbage. Headache within 20 minutes of taking and No Pain relief. My Losartan Potassium was switched to this company also 2 months ago, and I've had stomach problems since. Told Costco NEVER to dispense anything from this company. These Pills not only don't work, they give you a HEADACHE, Hydrocodone is suppose to take away pain not give you pain. ## The tablets with the U 03 marking contain 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen (NDC 13107-0021). The FDA does warn that a headache can be a typical side effect of this medication, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, and constipation. It also carries the risk of being habit forming. Inacti...
Hi was prescribe both and my pain is pretty low now and I just want to take the lesser of the two when needed. Thank you ## Hello, Dede! How are you feeling? The Oxycodone with Acetaminophen 5/325 is the strongest, since the Oxycodone is an opiate narcotic. Ibuprofen, as classified by the FDA, is just a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. The Oxycodone with Acetaminophen carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation and dry mouth. Ibuprofen may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## The oxycodone is a very strong narcotic for moderate to severe pain. The ibuprophen is very mild and is also over the counter at ...
Got severe stomach pain and constipation after my pharmacy switched to Aurobindo generic. Went back to the light yellow oblong tablet (mfr. unknown) and feel much better. Does anyone know what fillers Aurobindo uses? ## Hello, Richard! How are you? Those can be side effects of this medication, so it could be that the one from Aurobindo was slightly stronger than the others that you are used to, there is an allowable difference under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984. Generics are allowed to differ from the name brand, in the amount of the active ingredient, by as much as plus or minus 20%, so it may not be related to the fillers, since generics don't have to measure against each other. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, ...
Which is stronger? Norco 10mg or oxycodone 15mg? ## Oxycodone is the strongest of the two, you'd need 22.5mgs of the Hydrocodone to equal each 15mgs of Oxycodone. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## Hello, all. Just wanted to try and help anyone out there with the similar situation. Generic norco used to work, but over the last 5 yrs., total junk. Tried every brand, felt anxious, no pain relief. God bless my doc, he switched me to oxycodone. Everyone is different, but noticed that this med is different in a lot of ways....most importantly...it is like creeper. It takes longer to start working as opposed to generic norco...
I have taken the triangular white pills with M on side 1 and 8 on side 2 or PD on side 1 and 8 on side 2. What would be the strongest version? ## The first you mentioned is not hydrocodone, it's actually hydromorphone. That is stronger, than say, a lortab or something with hydrocodone in it. Don't know about the second, but the first is pretty potent. ## I need a list of hydrocodone-apap 7.5mg/325 manufacturers, from best brand to least effective brand. Is Watson the best and if so, which brand is least effective? ## Did you ever get a response to your question asking for a list of manufactures of the hydrocodone? If you have this info, could you post it here please? I too am looking for several good manufacturers of medications, not just hydrocodone. I am currently taking a hyd...
Very small white pill with 10 on one side and the letters OC on the other ## Hi, this is a 10 mg oxycodone tablet ## Just want to know what this pill is ## That is correct, it is a generic for Oxycontin, a time released narcotic analgesic. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## Is there any Tylenol in the pill? ## No, there is no Tylenol (Acetaminophen) in this pill. The only active ingredient is Oxycodone.
Round white pill with Christmas tree imprint on both sides ## I think there's a chance that what you're looking at my be an A logo and that you have some Anacin tablets. Is the tree basically a triangle that's sitting on a slightly curved base? If so, then that's what they probably are. Anacin is an over the counter pain reliever that contains Aspirin and Caffeine. ## Christmas tree looking pills sound like Ecstasy. Mentioned in the article below: [1] ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2717897
3 color capsule red, grey in the middle and green. with marking on red side TY and green side S-CP ## The capsuled marked TY S CP contains Acetaminophen 325 mg + Phenylephrine 5mg. (NDC 00045-0229) Manufacturer: McNeil Consumer Healthcare The imprint "TY S CP" stands for "Tylenol Sinus Congestion & Pain Daytime" ## I am not 100% certain, but it sounds like a Tylenol Rapid Release, they all have the TY marking, followed by other markings on the other color. The gray band is meant to allow the medication to release faster, so you don't have to wait as long for them to work. These contain Acetaminophen as the active ingredient, a common pain reliever and fever reducer. Does anyone else know for sure? ## Thank you I found it finally....it is- Tylenol Rapid Release G...
I'm trying to identify this pill. It's kinda small but thick with either a Christmas tree or if you turn it sideways it looks like 2 mountain peaks. The other side has no markings and the bag says Focus on it in hand writing. ## Did you manage to find out what this pill was? Someone I know has found a similar tablet. ## Anacin, which is aspirin and caffeine, has a triangular shape with a small base imprint which sort of resembles a tree. Some reports stated that there was "XTC" made, at some point, with a tree on it. ## Can you tell me what this pill is? I have the same one. ## No never got a response just trashed then. We had a wedding and one of our guest dropped them. Really would like to know so not to socialize with them ## It is a sleep aid/tension relief homeopath...
Dalaudid is the only medication I have found that helps relieve the pain in my bones from the cancer, and it helps me live a somewhat normal life so I can still get up and around. I am very thankful for it and have had no side effects at all. ## I also take 4mg Dilaudid for breakthrough pain (along with a fentanyl patch) due to compressed nerves and a brain that's too big for my skull. At age 28, after 2 years of suffering, Dilaudid also is the only med that truly releives my suffering and helps me live a more normal life. It was so difficult to get at my age thanks to the people out there who abuse it. I'm thankful that I have it now, though, because it's helping me get my life back. ## Hello Phyllis, and Melanie! How are you both doing? I am so very glad that you've fo...
i heard that norco had less tylonal and asprin than in vicodan ## Norco - 5/325 - has: hydrocodone 5 mg. and acetaminophen 325 mg. Norco - has 10 mg hydrocodone, and 325 mg acetaminophen. Vicodin - 5 mg hydrocodone and 500 mg acetaminophen. Vicodin ES - 7.5 mg. hydrocodone and 750 mg acetaminophen. ## Neither Norco, nor Vicodin have Aspirin in them. They have acetaminophen (APAP). ## Correct; neither have aspirin. Vicodin is probably the worst hydrocodone-containing compound available. The absolute lowest amount of liver-destroying paracetamol (acetaminophen in the USA) in any 'Vicodin' product is 500mg. What is generally referred to as 'Norco' (Watson) is 10mg/325mg. However, in personal eperience of this rather weak narcotic analgesic which is also completely overprice...
Hello, I have been on Norco 10/325 for several years and Watson then Quailtest always worked great. I go to a small pharmacy and they can no longer order Quailtest. They had Tris till this year and I liked Tris also. They will let me pick from whatever they have and that is Amneal, Mallinckrodt, or Camber. The Camber made me sick. So what would you choose between Amneal and Mallinckrodt? I know the reviews aren't great for either on here, but do you prefer 1 over the other? They told me they could also order other generics if I let them know. Thanks for any suggestions. ## When I had to have my dental work done, I had good results with the product from both of those manufacturers, but to me, it did seem that the Mallinckrodt worked a little faster. The FDA warns that Hydrocodone wit...
I live in near Aurora, IL. west suburbs of Chicago PLEASE SOMEONE HAS TO KNOW A DR. AROUND AURORA, IL OR W/IN 10 MILES OR SO THAT WILL PRESCRIBE THE PAIN MEDS I NEED. I'VE TRIED AT LEAST 7 OR 8 DIFFERENT MEDS. THE NORCO10'S OR EVEN STRONGER (FEWER PER DAY) WORK PERFECT, NO SIDE EFFECTS. I'VE TRIED ALL THE OTHER NON NARCOTIC AND THEY DO NOT WORK OR I FEEL LIKE A WACK FROM DRUGS LIKE LYRICA. I don't want to be treated like some drug addict...JUST LOOK AT THE MRI FROM LAST WEEK. ## The plethora of posts really wasn't necessary and, if you type in all caps online, it is equivalent to shouting and you won't get many responses. Now, as to your situation. One difficulty you may be creating for yourself is by trying to insist on a certain narcotic medication. Many doctor...
I have documentation that I was on these meds before. I was on 30mg oxycodone 3x daily, 10mg hydrocodone 4x daily, 30mg adderall twice daily, and 2mg Xanax 4x daily. My doctor was just getting too expensive, does anyone know any doctor around the chicago area that is easy going when it comes to prescribing meds? Thanks so much I just don't want to see a doctor and just walk out with ibuprofen for example. Thanks ## Hello, Mike! How are you? There are no doctors that are easy going about prescribing such medications, anymore. New regulations were put in place last year, which they must abide by, or they risk losing their license to practice medicine. If you require these medications on a long-term ongoing basis for the treatment of chronic pain, you'll need to see specialists to ...
I have a legitamite pain issue stemming from when I tore my ACL MCL Meniscus before my growth plates set in causing my left leg to be shorter...Then My lower back got messed up over time with this problem causing me to have 3 epidural shots in my tailbone(none worked even a week)...And Then I got in a car accident about 5 years ago which I then had more epidurals, injections, and a RFA(Radiofrequency ablation) which just caused me to have fibromyalgia now as well. All that being said, I was wondering if there is a GOOD Doctor in Illinois? (I live near Woodfield in Schaumburg but willing to travel) I want one who will see my 3 huge folders of medical records, understand, give me something to help manage my pain and also work with me to find a Permanent Long term solution so I am Not on m...
I live in Chicago, Illinois and I have been on Oxycodone 30mg for 3 years. My doctor retired and I haven't been able to find a doctor since to prescribe them. Can you help me and give me a doctors name that will prescribe this medication in the Chicagoland area... ## I'm sorry, but there is no listing of doctors that will prescribe any given medication. And you may be creating part of the problem yourself, if you're calling new doctors and asking them to prescribe a specific medication. Most doctors will see that as being drug seeking behavior and won't even let you get in the door. The best thing you can do is to set up an appointment with a new doctor and then just make sure they get a full copy of your medical records, so they can speak for themselves. Learn more Oxyc...
What is tapentadol and what does it do? ## Tapentadol is a centrally acting analgesic that is used to treat moderate to severe pain. IT's side effect profile is similar to that for narcotics and includes: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and dizziness. Thus, it also has the propensity of being abused. Read more: Are there any questions or comments? ## Is it a narcotic an will i feel start to work like a oxcycodone ## Im trying 2 find out if this pill will work in place of Methadone...Im currently detoxing from 90mg, 2m Im lowered 2 15mg (5mg lower a week) but since Ive decreased past 35mg, Im havin withdraw symptoms by the end of the day...Im DETERMINED 2 beat this, but I cant take the pain...I dont want 2 pick up a different habit, but am wonderin if this medication 50mg is STRONG eno...
I recently became very dependent on Norco for my chronic back pain. I'm withdrawing now so I can go see a pain specialist (finally!) I want to make sure u can get on (if per dr request) meds that won't take me down this road again. Withdrawal is hard as hell. However it important to note I have been rx'ed Methocarbamol and Flexeril, which I both cant take bc they don't do anything but knock me out... I'm sure the Dr will answer these for me soon depending in the diagnosis but just wanted some feedback re: other pain meds (no over counter, those are like candy pills for my pain). ## Dependence can happen with anything that you take on a regular basis for a long period of time and some withdrawal effects will occur, if you stop taking it abruptly. Some, of course, are ...
