Should I go to the Emergency room? ## Unless you started experiencing dangerous overdose symptoms, which the FDA lists as possibly including nausea, vomiting, severe dizziness, severe drowsiness and shallow breathing, there would most likely be no need for the ER. Hi, What is white oblong or barrel pill with a split in middle; on each side of split is A7C. Nothing on the reverse side. Thanks ## Hello, I believe I have identified your pill as Benylin day tablets (possibly from Ireland). Based on my research, each white (day) tablet contains the following active ingredients: Paracetamol (500 mg) + Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride (60 mg). Pseudoephedrine is a stimulant, but it is well known for shrinking swollen nasal mucous membranes, so it is often used as a decongestant. It reduces tissue hyperemia, edema, and nasal congestion commonly associated with colds or allergies. Other beneficial effects may include increasing the drainage of sinus secretions, and opening of obstructed Eustachian tubes. The same vasoconstriction action can also result in hy...

I have been on Lyrica since my lumbar fusion surgery last October. I started the Lyrica in November and gradually increased the dose to 200mg day. Since January I have had terrible urinary symptoms that feel like uti (which I do not). I have had a complete exam and the doctor found nothing. Has anyone else had similar symptoms? and if so how long has it taken for the urinary symptoms to go if the Lyrica was stopped? ## OMG! I have had exactly the same thing. I have been to the doctors and had urine and blood samples taken, but both turn out negative. I have a stinging sensation in my pubic area and a burning feeling when passing water. I have only been taking lyrica for 3 weeks and the symptoms started after a week of taking the drug. They also make me feel spaced out, moody with suicid...
Hi there, I am currently taking oxys for my chronic pain, which work very well for me, but my dr has just given me a script for nucynta which is a fairly new drug. Thx in advance for ur time ## I haven't used it, but I can provide you with some basic information on it. Nucynta contains the active ingredient Tapentadol, which is a centrally acting analgesic. Before Lyrica went generic I was getting it for free. However now I have to go through my insurance or on my own. I discovered GoodRX and now get Pregabalin 3 months supply (270 capsules) for $28 with a coupon. Prices vary tremendously at various pharmacies. Some as high as $500 and some as low as $28 for 3 month supply. Shop around! It is usually best NOT to go through your insurance company. ## GoodRX is also much cheaper than most insurance prices for many medicines. I always check their prices first. ## This is very good advice. When we were between insurance plans, since my husband's employer was switching, I went to pick up one of his medications, and the original price was over $300, but with GoodRX it came down to $12.99. This site also has a RX Savings Card that you can pri...
I was just given Lyrica for my Neuropathy and Fibromyalgia. I start it tonight and will keep posted on how it does for me. My doctor said it would not hurt any drugs I am now on, which is a lot. My wife and I are waiting to see what the results will be as we both have the same illnessand our appointments for our doctor isn't for a while. We will be waiting for your results along with his to see if this turns out to be the medication we've been looking for. Of course, we know that meds can work differently for different people. Good luck and God Bless! ## My Dr. Put me on Lyrica for nerve pain that runs across my back and down both legs. It makes me sleep...
Does anyone know of a doctor in Florida prescribing hydrocodone for chronic pain? ## Hello, Rasa! How are you? Due to the changes this month that switched this to a schedule 2 medication, most doctors are now refusing to prescribe it. And regardless of that, if your require such a medication on a long-term ongoing basis for the treatment of chronic pain, you'll need to see a pain management specialist due to the new regulations that were put in place last year. Do you currently have a PCP that you see regular that may be able to refer you to someone? That might be the quickest and easiest way to find the help you need. Does anyone know of a good doctor in that area? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, ...
Have shingles, took 4 hydroco/acetaminop 5-325mg tab qua in last 2 days as prescribed. Have not had any relief from excruciating pain. When should I get some relief from pain? ## Hello, Rayna! How are you feeling? I'm very sorry that you're so miserable! The good news is that once is clears up, Shingles doesn't usually recur! Something topical might help a bit more, if used in conjunction with the pills. There are things available over the counter, such as Dermoplast and others that are sold for sunburn and such. If your doctor says it's okay for you to use one, then they can even prescribe something, or your pharmacist can help you find something to try. That problem with herpes viruses is that they are a skin condition, so they are topical and while you can take an ora...

I recently ordered my pain med, Tramadol, from what seemed like a licensed pharmacy. I have filled it from Europe & can always verify it's a legitimate brand as it comes from a licensed pharmacy & is marked by the pharmaceutical company. I decided to fill my rx from Canada as the order & delivery is much simpler. Well, I received my prescription today. White tablets, zero markings! Any way of verifying whether they are legitimate?

I injured my back & neck in 1998 & 2001. I have herniated dics L4-L5, & L5-S-1 and Bone Spurs in my Neck. I started out with a Worker’s Compensation Doctor. However they started to deny more & more treatment as time went by. In the Fall of 2014 they denied my Pain Medications. At that point I went to Kaiser Permanente Medicare, if they would treat me for by painful back injury & they said they would, I continued with Opana & Topamax. However, they do not put you “under” for Epidural shots” so I only had a few. They are just too PAINFUL! A local sedative just doesn’t do it for me. I’ve been on Opana 5mg. 5 times a day, for many years. Last year my Primary Care Doctor at Kaiser asked me to reduce it to 4 times a day, Yikes! I...
which helps more watson hydrocodone acetaminophen 5 325 compared to qualtest hydrocodone acetaminophen 5 325??? ## To me the Watson is so much better the other I believe is a generic as they come I may be wrong but many other people agree with me! ## Watson! Qualitest was okay but Watso was always best for me.. Dr Reddy gave me bad effects, I won't touch that brand. ## Something to take into considering when making these kinds of comparisons is that each individual is prone to respond differently (due to many potential factors... such as body chemistry, age, weight, tolerance, metabolism, to name a few). So even if we had 1000 reviews in favor of Watson to go off of, this still only accounts a small percentage of patients out of millions perhaps who may or may not necessarily feel t...
My doc after looking at my MRI for my back, me having no insurance, sent me to a specialist that i can't afford. He stopped all pain pills and put me off to someone I can't pay to see. So after having pain problems since march of 2013 and being prescribed pain meds, it suddenly stops and he won't refill them. I found some vicodin 5-500 (hydrocodone-Acetaminophen ) from 2011 and wondered if I can still use them for my back pain. ## You could try, they probably won't be as strong. Just try 1at a time though, at 1st ## @sweeper2, This may come as a surprise, but according a study from Harvard Medical School, many medications can remain effective for even up to 15 years beyond their listed expiration date. I have not seen the actual list of drugs used in this study, but I...
