After 6 years of being treated for chronic pain my doctor told me he is not going to treat chronic pain patiants anymore and is semi retiring. He has been giving me 30 mg. of oxycodone 5 times aday if needed. Im 61 yrs. old and have heart issuses so Im worried about withdrawls and having another heart attack. Does anyone know a Doctor in the Seattle, Wa. area that would prescribe 30mg. of oxycodone. Thank you

I just picked up my medication. Im prescribed oxycodone hcl 20 mgs. Up to this point I hasn't always received the kvkt brand grayish pill with z 57 on it. This time I was dispensed zydus brand gray pill with np 14. I want to know what peoples opinion is on the effectiveness compared to the kvkts. Im already aggravated because I usually break the old ones in half and take them a half at a time and these are impossible to break evenly. Doctor just took me off 120 mg OxyContin daily and switched me to Fentanyl 75 mcg. What can I expect as far as differences in the effects? I am converting a pt from Fentanyl 150mcg to oxycontin 60mg. Should I leave the patch on for a few hours before removing it: ## Dear Cheri: I am not a Dr, nor am I in the medical field. I have been taking oxycontin, now since they changed the the formula i am up to 120x2 a day with a breakthough. It stinks i still have pain with the op kind. I tried 100mg patchs of fentanal. Could never keep them on.Now i hear of a fentanal pill newly approved.I think this would be a lot better for me. Ant thoughts on this dillema I have??? ## Have you tried the Fentenal lollypops? I normally take ibuprofen to take the edge off impacted bowels. laxatives of every type I've taken. Only thing that helps the pain is vicadan/valium but I'm out. I have tevas blue pill and I was wondering if one pill would help? I don't have IBS like doctors say (just a bandaide diagnosis) I do not believe in. I was infected with giardia and irradicated however cousin "blastocystis" exists. I have symptoms of swelling, dysentary, irrative bowel movements'major gas, rumbling of stomach, pounding like sledge hammer on colon. You can actully see it moving up and down, blurred vision, chronic fatigue. I was never sick before except when I ate at a carnival where I contracted giardia and have been sick every since. Just wanted to know what this half of a pill is i found in my house. Its white an oblong shape I can see the M on the front side or whatever side it is and when I turn it over I see a 5 an then a score mark but I cant see whats after the score mark because it was broke in half just after the 5 an the score..Its not as thick of a pill as like a vicodin an there arent any numbers right after the M generally it would say M363 or M367 but this has no numbers directly next to it..Please help I have no clue what this is!!! Have been taking 400mcg Fentora with 125mcg Fentanyl Patch as prescribed by my PM doc. Fentora supposedly is only used for cancer pain. I do not have cancer just major chronic pain in knees for 10 years she believes is now CRPS. She says I have to stop either the patch or the Fentora. I have heard that Morphine is a good sub and she suggests 15mg. Dilaudid is also an option but did not have any success with that in 4mg dose. Any thoughts would be much appreciated!! ## My suggestion (sorry so late a reply) is that u stop the patch immediately. Fentanyl 50 Mcgs over 5 years has ruined my beautiful teeth. Anything with the derivative fent - etc. pls take my advice and stop. Dilaudid if it doesn't work at that dose and it was your first time. Don't. The dosage will have to be higher...

People are dumb for using drugs, they think its ok as long as a doctor gives you the drugs "oh i mean meds" I almost died in a car accident and broke everything from my waist down!!! I have serve nerve damage to my legs and arms. I fought for 10 years not to use any narcotic drug out there. I was on tramadol for years but when i got a condition called " C.R.P.S." WHEN the nerves become so bad that all you feel is stabbing pain in both legs and feet as well as your hands. I then chose to go on oxycodone 30mg and methadone 10mg. I have been on them for 4 years now and i wish i never went on them at all!!! I guess if i had money i could and probably would of had better treatment for my problems, i feel that i am in a catch 22, cant live with the pain and hate the side effec...

We live in Burke VA. My husband has a rare disorder, Tardive Dyskinesia, that causes spasms and severe pain in his jaw and tongue. Currently there is no cure. He went to general practitioners, dentists, and neurologists, 7 in all, and none of them could figure out what was causing his problem. Finally a very respected and kind maxillofacial surgeon told my husband he would do everything he could to find out what the problem was. does oxcycontine show uo as percasets in a urine drug test, or do they show up as two different drugs? ## Percocet contains the combination of Acetaminophen + Oxycodone. If you took Percocet, then you should expect both to show up. If you were to only take Oxycontin, then only Oxycodone would show up, since Oxycodone is the generic for Oxycontin.
