My wife goes to a pain clinic where they check her urine to see if she is taking them. She takes them every day yet the past 2 visits the tests have come up negative. How is this possible? ## The very same thing happened to me today! I take the medication every day at 4 a.m. and 4 p.m. I have no clue how I came up negative. Of course he did not give me any of my medication today. I'm extremely upset because I follow the rules and take my medication as prescribed. If anybody can tell me how this is possible I would really appreciate it.

Now a lot of factors can increase this value (eg. if you suffer from renal failure, liver issues etc.) But assuming the worst, and let's say you have taken 20mg of Oxycodone. This means: 4.5 hours later - 10mg remaining 9 hrs later - 5mg remaining 13.5 hrs later - 2.5mg 18 hrs - 1.25mg 22.5 hrs - 0.625mg 27 hrs - 0.3125mg left 31.5 hours - 0.16mg left ----> by this point, you don't have to worry. So all in all, to be on the safe side, keep this value at 36 hours but allow a buffer of upto 48 hours to be on the safe side since there are other factors ...

I go to Hill Country pain in Fredericksburg Texas with dr. v hill I've been going there for 5 years I was taking 75mm fentanyl every 48 hours and it was working perfect I wasn't having as much pain it wasn't even asking for a change and the PA is changing my medicine without me wanting him to anyone know of another doctor . That prescribes Fentanyl and doesn't keep trying to change your medicine

So I've got a question, but before I ask I'll give some background information: I've been on varying strengths of the Fentanyl patches for almost 10 years for a failed spinal fusion, continued chronic pain due to the fusion degenerating the discs above it, and also for Fibromyalgia. But for the last 3-4 years I've been on 75mcg changed every 48 hours and this has worked super well for me. I am currently using the brand Actavis and it has the gel reservoir. Anyway, I've been through withdrawals before, but this last time seemed different. If I took a 5mg of Oxycodone, can I have a drink 10 hours later? I was prescribed fentanyl patch 25 mcg but I cannot even tell I have one on. I have tried placing it on different areas of my body to see if it will absorb better but I just do not feel like I am getting any medicine. What does a roxycodone 15 mg immediate release look like.. I was prescribed this today. I had hip surgery and was sent home with a little green pill with a m in a box on one side and a 15 on the other. Is this the same thing? My bottle says oxycodone 15 mg.. But it doesn't specify immediate release. ## There is no immediate release Oxycodone in that dosage, thus, the 15mg tablets that you've received are regular release tablets. My brother has a drug test coming up in a couple of days from his doctor and he takes endocet, but because he lost his pills for today he took half a morphine pill (30 mg) to deal with his usual pain while he works and he's worried that even when he finds his pills and goes back on them the morphine will show. I told him that since he took only half a pill once it should out of his system in few days even if he's overweight. How long do Hydrocodone and Stratera stay in your system? I only took Statera once. I am on Vyvance which is prescribed to me. I didn't take Hydrocodone for a few days. ? ## how long does hydrocodone stay in ur system if u only take one or two for a few days ## If you haven't been taking high doses regularly, then it should be out of your system in 36 to 48 hours. If these medications are prescribed, though, then please make sure to tell them this when you appear for the test, as it will more than likely negate the test, though you may have to show proof of the prescription. I take 4 hydrocodone 10/375 a day for neck pain. It is getting filled as norco now. Is there anything else that might not cause so much stomach or intestinal pain and discomfort? I have never had any luck in the past with Darvocet or Percocet. Can I cut this oxycodone 30mg pill in half (v 48/12)? I'm prescribed it for breakthrough pain along with fentanyl 75mcg that's also prescribed for chronic pain. ## This is a regular release formulation, so it ca be cut, or broken, with your doctor's approval. I've recently heard that a certain pharmacy is under investigation for distributing fake meds. Well I recently got some percocet 10/325 and they have a high shine coating that tastes sweet. This is funny because they usually taste terrible. Has something changed? FYI - they relieve some of my pain but not completely like before and it seems like I am having slight withdrawals symptoms; runny nose, yawning a lot. ## Some manufacturers do use sweetened coatings to help prevent that horrible taste and to protect your stomach from the harshness of some medications. I have a wheelchair bound client who says his feet hurt from not being used. The doctor gave an RX for Lyrica but told us to empty the capsule into any regular lotion and apply it to his feet for the pain. Client said it really helps. ## It is sometimes prescribed to be used like that and does help many people, some doctor's have it specially made from a compounding pharmacy, but this cuts out that step. The FDA lists the typical side effects as mostly being related to its topical use, so they may include skin redness, dryness, and irritation. Is it still working for him?

What is the difference between these pills imprinted with 176 and m367? I've taken both pills and m367 doesn't seem to be as strong. ## @Arita, From what I could gather, both pills in question reportedly contain a 10/325 mg dose of Hydrocodone-Acetaminophen. The M367 is made by Mallinckrodt and carries a National Drug Code of 00406-0367. NOTE: You can also view an image of this pill by clicking on the NDC link above The other pill in question (imprinted with 176) is reportedly made by Sun Pharmaceutical and has a National Drug Code of 57664-0176. I wonder if perhaps certain binders/fillers are being implemented that inhibit bioavailability in one way or another.
