Morphine Sulfate Negative Tests

My wife goes to a pain clinic where they check her urine to see if she is taking them. She takes them every day yet the past 2 visits the tests have come up negative. How is this possible?

The very same thing happened to me today! I take the medication every day at 4 a.m. and 4 p.m. I have no clue how I came up negative. Of course he did not give me any of my medication today. I'm extremely upset because I follow the rules and take my medication as prescribed. If anybody can tell me how this is possible I would really appreciate it.
