i have post sirgical lower back pain. was in 50 mcg pat. ch and had side effects ans so decided to wean off. i finished with the 12 mcg patch a week ago and am still suffering from peroidic nausea, irritability, daily joint and muscle pain, but the worst is the consistant restless leggs. it is driving me crazy. my doctor says that is not withdrawal. is he right? i don't think so. if it is withdrawal, what can i do about it and how long will it last? i am going crazy. ## I have used the Actiq lozenges 400 microgram, 4 times a day for over a year. I have SLE, Mixed Connective Tissue Disease, Scleraderma, Raynauds, Achalasia, Brain Tumour, Peripheral Nueropathy and Emphysema, and now it's affecting my heart. The only pain killer I am taking is Panadol Osteo because I'm allergic to morphine, codeine etc. The docs are also passing me back and forth like a hot potato. I know my diseases make it difficult for them to deal with (no picnic for me either) and I understand that very little research has been done on one person having so many rare conditions but I just want the truth and more importantly just a sign that maybe they care.

I've known someone who's been getting these for years & have friends from India, they are 80mg oxycodone. However if you've been taking US 30's its just not 'up to par' because of the different chemicals but there is 80mg......what doesn't make sense is India's 30mg are twice as strong as they are in the US....Plus there are a ton of bootlegs out there so ya have to know who your filling your prescriptions from over there. ## The 80mg have the line across one side of them with no markings on the other. So my pharmacy said they changed their brands from mallinckrodt to alvogen, both oxycodone 7.5/325 for insurance reasons. The alvogen caused ulcers, swelling in the throat, and didn't help with the pain from the coating. I thought they were giving a placbo or they had a very low mg, > 5. I told them about the problem and they filled another one anyway. I tried maylan 7.5/325 and they work fine. Conclusion alvogen company should be banned from making this product! ## Hello, SP! I've been on 15 mg morphine ER every 12 hours for nine months (for pain from thorcotomy/lobectomy for lung cancer). My pain mgmt dr changed it to morphine 15 mg immed release (I didn't realize til I got the rx filled a week later.) None of my other meds have changed (percocet 10-325 mg 4x day, gabapentin 600 mg 3x day, 2 mg zanaflex every night). I would love to stop taking all these drugs but still have significant pain and two young children to care for all day. I told my dr that I'd really love to stop the morphine at least and he said we would just drop it and replace it with more percocet. What is the difference because I was on ratio oxycocets for 4 yrs and just recently I was switched to sandoz oxycodone .. I take the sandoz more cuz I feel not much effects on these ones ..than the ratio oxycocet. ? Why is this ? Hello, I had a severe head injury from falling 14 ft from a balcony..i suffer from brain lesions and get the most wrenching headaches. I broke my hid and my shoulder. I have recovered from that, but still suffer from excruciating pain..This happened in 2002, i know what meds work for me and i bring my book of medical records with me to every doc appointment and they still have no compassion. I got some a 215 today and I don't remember it breaking so easily.... It also tastes pretty chalky but I do taste the oxy... i have been on both oxycotin 80mg and opana 40mg, i started off on opana and when they were changeing the ingred. i had to go on oxycotin 80 mg, i will always say opana 40 are alot stronger than oxycotin 80s i get alot more pain relief on opanas, i read all the time its 10mgs of opana to 30mgs of oxycotin i believe it.... ## Hello, Delta! Do any of the members of this forum have an opinion as to the effectiveness of Endocet v. Watson 932 equivelant? ## They are both supposed to contain 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, but since there can be fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredients in generics, as well as in the fillers used, how they work for anyone can be different. While others may have gotten good or bad results from one of the other of them, the only way to find out how they work for you is to actually try it. I go to a pain center and I have to take a surprise drug test in the morning at 9:00 am which will be sent to the lab. I just took a Percocet. How can I get it out of my system by then?
