Hello my doctor just changed me from taking up to 6 Hydrocodon 10/325 to Morohine 15 mg time release tablet . should I see a big change as far as side affects ? ## It is the weakest morphine pill out there if you are takeing for pain it's better than norco I had my doc lower my doce to 1 15 mg morphine and I Get oxycodone 4 each a day. I am prescribe oxycodone 30mg merhodone 10mg 3 times.a day xanax 2mg 3 times a day and soma 3 times a day neproxen 2 times a day. I just started the seriquil last month. Once my insurance kicked in i was able to get the seriquil well every since i started taken seriquil I'm testing positive for morphine. can seriquil cause this? ive never taken morphine. they have me on plenty of pain pills. I have fibromyalgia and chronic back pain. My pain mgmt Dr took me off Percocet 5-325 and put me on Tylenol 4. Will I have better pain control now? ## In my opinion there are way too many variables within your question(s) for anyone to give an honest and helpful answer. Because we all react/respond differently, the only true way to find an accurate answer would be for you to go through trial & error and formulate your own opinion. I have chewed little pieces of my fentanyl patch to help with immediate pain relief. However I see the pain management doctor in 4 days and will have to take a urine test. I have put one on my arm and am not chewing onthem however, will my levels be off and cause me to fail the test or will the fentanyl I used orally be out of my system by then? I have no more AF so tried to go off Eliquist and diltiazam. However when I did (slowly, one at a time) I felt a tightness in my chest and a rapid heartbeat for a few seconds on getting up. So there are no such thing as 15mg Percocet. My friend said she gets them and I told her ,I get 10mg and never heard of 15mgs ## You are correct, the maximum dosage available of Percocet is 10/325mg. However, your friend may be referring to just Oxycodone by itself. Many people call everything that contains it Percocet, even when it doesn't contain the Acetaminophen. Alternatively, if some needs a higher dose of Oxycodone with Acetaminophen, their doctor can write a prescription, which a compounding pharmacy can specially create for them. In short, I was on hydrocodone for chronic leg pain 4 years ago. Very low dose, 5 mg 4 times a day. I spent the day in the woods with my family, woke up the next day swollen head to toe worse than I've ever seen. I couldn't even see my eyelashes when I closed my eyes. I was nauseated, dizzy, cloudy headed, and my kidneys were not functioning properly. I was a nurse so I knew right a way it was my adrenal glands. Anyway, my adrenal glands completely failed that day and never came back. Since that very day opiates stopped working as well. Doesn't matter what I take or the amount. I take hydrocodone 7.5 325 for pain from degenerated disks in spine and I take celebrex 200 for arthritis pain and inflamation, is there any problem with this? We all need to ban together somehow to stick up for the legitamte people in pain with the proper documentation. This is bull**** what we have to do to get our medication each month, From all the BS at the doctor offioce visits. With the ever changing rules to follow from the DEA . The scare tactics the DEA uses to scare the doctors to even pescribe the Oxycodone to legitamate people in chronic pain. And finally once you get through all of that..if you do... then come the BS at the pharmacies....you will hear we are out..or the shipment is comimg in a few days...then you go back and it didnt come in and its on back order...or you will hear (we dont fill from that doctor with no explination)...or we dont get them anymore. They have neither similar conformation nor any of the chemical factors that the drug tests work on. Demerol is a totally synthetic, man-made opioid painkiller while Percocet contains oxycodone, a semisynthetic opiate made from a product of a poppy. For any drug test they show absolutely no similarities. ## It would actually depend on the type of test that is done. For verification, the inactive ingredients in 'Hycet' (hydrocodone bitartrate 7.5 + acetaminophen 325mg) oral solution include: D & C Red #33 and FD & C Red #40 as coloring. Please note however that the color and viscosity of the liquid are entirely up to the whit and whim of the manufacturer; and therefore may be subject to change without any prior announcement... If I take a Percocet, how long will it take to show up in my urine? Is it one hour after you take it, 6 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours? what is the real expiration on percocets ## From what I've heard, most pharmacies put an expiration date of about a year on certain pain medications such as Percocet, although I'm sure this estimate can vary. There's other posts online about individuals taking expired Percocet and claiming that it's just not nearly as potent as it was before, but they confirmed that it did not harm them as far as they could tell. You may have to be your own best judge if you are taking expired medication. I do agree that certain drugs are actually okay to take after expiration, whereas others such as antibiotics can become toxic; but nothing lasts forever without expressing signs of degeneration. I get 180 Oxycodine 30mg each month. Is there some law that the doctor can't prescribe more than 1 per 4 hrs? That comes to 180 per month. I would like to take about 2 more per day. I have tried Subutex for 4 month, it does not help my stomach pain and getting worse. I can't enjoy life or my new daughter and it's affecting job as well. I was told it helped someone else but it doesn't for me. I moved back to my home town and now can go back to my Dr. I would like to see them again and get back on something for the pain I would like to at least enjoy life - I know it's not gonna fix it but at least allow me to function and live a little better.
