I am finding that when I take my PRN (as needed) dose of IR morphine any time after 4 pm, no matter what I take, lorazepam, ambien, phenergan, soma that I can't fall asleep and if I do it's that "yen" type of sleep where I am kind of in a trance. I am finding that I need the PRN dosing more and more at night so what can I do to counter the effects. In the day it makes me sleepy but at night it's completely different. I've asked my doctor about it and for a different solution but he says there is nothing stronger or better that he can prescribe that I can afford - I don't have prescription coverage. I too used to take the Watson Marked ones, but CVS switched to these and I find these VERY VERY effective. I think that the reason some people don't like them is there body is used to the other and a lot of it maybe "brain" issues. Your brain is used to taking "Watson's" and when you change your brain is saying Ol no something different it won't work, helpppp... But rest assured your body WILL get used to them and start to work, it just takes time. Can I take Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen 5-325 TB before a colonoscopy? I am told to not take NSAIDs two weeks before my test. It appears there is no aspirin in this RX. ## You are correct, the active ingredients are Acetaminophen (Tylenol) and Hydrocodone. I was prescribed this drug a while back. I'm trying to find out the strength of it...no markings so I can't look it up myself. ID on the bottle is 200658, but that doesn't seem to work on the searches I've done. Anyone have any ideas? ## Was this in the U.S.? I have chronic back pain due to a torn rotator cup, herniated disk and chronic arthritis. Had surgery on my rotator cup in feb of 2013....About 6 months later the pain was back and terrible... My dr did an mri and it showed a worse torn rotator in 3 spots. He had me do 6 weeks of pt, which was no help, then put me on percocet three times daily and it made a huge difference... I still had some pain but was able to do so much more. Now since the fda changed all these laws, I am in chronic pain constantly....It kills me to just take a shower. i am on oxycodone 15mg 4 times a day and 30mgs of methadone. I now added a 75mg patch of Fentanyl. Will the patch work? Will i feel the patch? It's been on for 3 hours and i don't feel any different. ## I'm on 30 to 40 mgs of methadone daily and 15 mgs of oxycodone daily. I ran out of my meds and cant fill my them until tomorrow. I was given 2 x 75mgs fentanyl patches to use for 24hrs. I can fill my meds tomorrow morning. I used one of the patches and i just put the other one on. My Fentanyl patch burns my arm and makes my arm and fingers hurt terribly. I put it on my back and the pain was so bad I ended up at the hospital. When I took a breath my left side hurt so bad I could only take little breaths - Did anyone else have this problem? I have 2 hernatied disc, spinal stenosis , pain all over my body and recently moved here from Florida where I was taking 10mg hydrocodone for about 2 years with no problems and never asked for it to be increased . I have taken hydrocodone 10 mg for several years, and sometimes get jittery..sort of like speedy..and uncomfortable. I noticed the other day that I have two different sizes of pills (from a different pharmacy last month). Is it possible that one manufacturer has an ingredient different from another? I take Norco 5/325 daily for pain.(Scoliosis) I am having a last minute breast augmentation tomorrow & my Dr. prescribed me Percocet 5/325 for the pain. Can I alternate my meds every few hours? I'm sure it should be fine, but just checking. Don't wanna freak either of my doctors out by asking them! ## They are both very potent narcotic analgesics, neither treats any specific condition, just general pain, so you really don't need to take them both, at the same time, only one is necessary. I have never been on oxycontin before but just recently got prescribed 20mg of it. I have taken dilaudid, morphine, and oxycodone pills before though. I accidentally took two oxycontins within 2 hours of eachother as my anxiety medication is small and the same color. I need to know if I will pass my drug test tomorrow. I took morphine two days ago but I have been on suboxone. Will morphine show up? ## Yes, unfortunately it will even with the suboxone. Both will show up. ?? It takes 10 days for it to not show up in a ua. Suboxone only blocks the effects of other opiates (in theory) but it does not "wash out" other substances from your system. I know this is a super late response, but I am curious to know if I am wrong and what happened if it did show up. I would love to hear what happened on Friday, October 21st 2016 (the day of your ua) and what happened afterwards. Lemme know!
