I have a great job and have worked at a police dept in Fla over 30 yrs unfortunately I can no longer work due to the pain and fatigue of fibromyalgia. I will be applying for disability but I need Lyrica, Morphine and anti depressant medication. I want to move to Elizabethton TN. I'm getting a Bronchoscopy and I'm wondering how long a single dose of Fentanyl stays working in my system? I'm guessing three days but I'm not sure of the dose. I don't use any opiates or drugs at all but have to take a urine for a study 4 days later. If I drink plenty of water for those four days, will I be fine? thx ## According to the following Drug Use Time Table, fentanyl can be detected in urine 8-24 hrs after your last dose. If I have taken hyrdocodone/Acetaminophen 10/500 and have drug test in 1 week, will this be out of my system by then? I have been having migraines and ran out of my normal perscription of sumatriptan. i am on oxycodone 30 mg but have a hard time finding them also if it says take 6 a day and i get 120 thats only for 20 days right? ## @stacy, 120 tablets divided by 6 a day, does come out to a 20 day supply. If you feel that you're having a hard time finding a pharmacy to fill your script, I would recommend searching ahead of time; like at least a week or more before you think you're going to run out. If it was written directing you take one every 8 hours, then 45 pills would last for 15 days. However, if it was written to be taken as needed, your doctor might expect it to last longer. Looking for a new pain management doctor. I was a patient of Dr. Padda, he's a total jerk and you have to wait all day, the office is nasty and so are his employees. But, he will write. I had to quit seeing due to a change of insurance. I don't want to go through 20 appointments w various doctors. Just wanting to find someone quick and easy to deal with for my existing pain treatment. ## I was just referred to the padda institute for pain management. I've had one appointment with dr belcher out of the north county location. I can't tell if he will write or not or just do injections. I have done injections and other interventional type before with little success. Have you found anyone yet?

Though I have to ask the original poster, did you mean "10" of some other medication? I.e. - 10mg Zohydro (Hydrocodone extended release) which doesn't have Acetaminophen? Is Acetaminophen like a Percocet? I'm not too fond of Percocets, as I was given them after I had my baby. ## Hi Nicki, Acetaminophen is NOT the same thing as Percocet. It can sometimes be confusing because Acetaminophen is one of the active ingredients in Percocet (the other being Oxycodone which is a strong narcotic drug in the opioid class). However, on its own, Acetaminophen is a readily available over the counter pain reliever (it is not a narcotic like Oxycodone in Percocet), so you should not expect to have any of the unpleasant side effects associated with a drug like Percocet. It is important to follow the instructions on the label because too much Acetaminophen can cause liver damage. As to other pain medications, I can't check, without knowing the specific ones you want to check. There are far too many available for me to check them all for you. The FDA classifies Ibuprofen as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation. I'm seeing it all over the news and elsewhere on this site but it looks like fake yellow tablets with PERCOCET and 10/325 inscribed on them are becoming more common. Sadly on Wednesday news outlets have reported deaths from bad tablets circulating in Georgia. Everyone is urged to be extremely careful and of course, ensure that prescriptions are being filled through licensed pharmacies. I have suffered from hay fever since I was a kid. I am now 70. I have been taking hydrocodone for years, never more than 3 in a day and usually one or two for pain from arthritis. Besides relieving pain I have found that hydrocodone is absolutely the best medicine for my hay fever. After taking a hydrocodone all hay fever symptoms are gone within 30 minutes. My new doctor will not prescribe hydrocodone instead preferring to give me tramadol which relieves MINOR pain and helps with the hay fever, but is not nearly as effective as hydrocodone. I have to take two at a time for any relief. I can't wait until January when I can switch back to my original doctor. I'm certainly not hooked on hydrocodone. I don't get a buzz from it, I only get relief from my hay fever and arthritis ...

I have been going to my doctor for 10 years. I've been prescribed hydrocodone for about 8 of those years. I am also prescribed Xanax and an antidepressant called Abilify. For the past year or so I've been having to take periodic urine tests when I get my prescriptions filled. Sometimes he does it two or three visits in a row. Sometimes he won't do it three or four times in a row. I took a pee test last month but I have gone to the bathroom before going to the doctor and was only able to provide them a very small urine sample.
