can wikoryl syrup be given to children (abt.4 yrs old) during cold. ## What is the dose of Wikoryl Syrup (Alembic ltd) for the child age 5 yr? e.g. 7.5 ml three times in a day ## Wikoryl contains: Paracetamol (125mg) + Phenylephrine hcl (5mg) + Chlorpheniramine maleate (1mg) per 5ml teaspoon. It is used to treat the symptoms of a cold and allergies. Did your doctor not provide you with any dosing instructions? From the amounts in each teaspoon, it sounds like that would be a dose, one 5ml teaspoon for a child of that age. It is usually given every 6 to 8 hours, as needed, but not to exceed 4 doses a day. I received the Actavis brand of oxycodone for 3 months until I almost had a meltdown. I had all the symptoms mentioned above, along with severe depression and anxiety. I was starting to think I had possibly built a resistance to the drug and that is why it was not working anymore. I have 2 elementary age children and I am Mr. Mom. With 4 bulging disk in my lower back I have bone rubbing on bone and am in pain 24/7. I have had these white Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen 10-500 T. These are not as strong as the pinkor blue. A lot of powder on them. Still have pain while taking them. When one pill works better for some than others. I Cain 't understand that if that name brand pill would fix the problem at one a day but we have to take the generic taking more and still feeling the pain. Money is as so the root of all evil. Without this money people like me and a whole lot more feel this way to. Will never get well. The medicine does make you better. The generic will help along the way but no you won't get well. I'm a 50 yr old grandma with end stage renal failure! With that being said I also have chronic pain, slipped disc, a bulging disc, neuropathy, severe nerve damage in my neck and down my shoulder, severe hip pain in not just one but both hips now. I went to my dr for over 8 years, got 5-15s daily due to knees and back pain. Since I moved to another county my dr gave me four 20s daily. For nearly 3 years the dr said he prescribed too much medicine and outta the blue he referred me to pain management. Dr zubb said all he could do is wean me off, so i went from four 20mg to three 10 mg in 4 months to nothing!!! I never failed a U/A or anything to be treated like a criminal or a drug addict!! In 2011, I was diagnosed with nerve and muscle damage, hip dysplasia, degenerative athritis of the cervical spine, fibromyalgia, herniated discs in my back, and lymphomas in my back. I decided to leave the pain clinic and switch to a pcp for my pain management. Now, I was at the pain clinic two years, never failed a test, never ran short, etc. 2013, I'm at my pcp. 16 months on oxycodone 30mg 4x daily. I also take ativan, hydrochlorothaicide (sp? Multiple knee surgeries; bone spur on L heel secondary to limping on right leg for years; spondylolysthesis in back. Prescribed 1-2 Percocet(s) per night (5-325) to help sleep and Tramadol (50mgs, up to 4Xday). If my first 2 Trams haven't touched my pain (fell 2 days ago), would taking the remaining 2, plus the Percocets, have any kind of additive analgesic effect? Or would the stronger Perc render the Tram unnoticeable? Should mention I'm a pill horse: since childhood, I've had to take higher doses to get effects, w/ any drugs. I fill ALL of my prescriptions with express scripts including my Roxicodone. I have a severe case of chronic Pancreatitis, which causes acute attacks almost every month. On top of this, which is unbelievably painful, I have 4 herniated discs in my back as well as a completely blown out left knee. I also have lingering pain from several gun shot wounds I was lucky enough to live through in Afghanistan. Express Scripts however sends my pain meds every 34 DAYS, LEAVING ME IN WITHDRAWAL, for the 1st couple months, until I started cutting the amount I took from 4 to 3 the last week, so I don't suffer too bad from pain or withdrawal. I wish I could find a legitimate pharmacy that fills my prescriptions in a timely manner and accepts my insurance. I guess serving ones country does not matt...

I am a doctor who treats and "enjoys" a chronic pain problem. My PCP suggested nucynta. We tried it for several months, and I tried it on some of my patients. From my experience in both realms I feel confident in stating that nucynta ER is complete crap! It neither helped me, nor anyone I prescribed it for. I have Chronic Lyme disease and RA and my regular PCP can only script me 4-10/325 oxycodone with tylenol per day. I need to know if tests with instant ua cup results or lab testing can tell if ive been taking it as prescribed? ive been taking them for a month 1 every 12 hours except for a few days here and there ive had to take 1 more then prescribed because of very bad back pain. i know hydro/norco"s are in your system for 2-4 days but what about having taken them for a month? will my levels be higher and would they be able to tell i didnt wait the full 12 hours before taking another pill? I was taking lortab 10/500 blue with Watson 540 stamped on the pill, taking four a day. My pain has worsened. Dr changed my meds to Oxycodone 10mg it's very small (pink with k56 on the pill). I was injured on the job back in 2008 and sustained a herniated disc. For many years I was able to obtain prescriptions for Norco to help with my back pain, but now I am unable to get Norco due to the severe restrictions placed on the health care industry to not prescribe pain medications. I had a private doctor who prescribed Norco for me and I switched to Kaiser because this doctor I was seeing moved. I have a legitimate case here in my opinion and would appreciate any help. The stupid doctors at Kaiser are only willing to prescribe Motrin or other medications which do absolutely nothing in terms of helping me with my daly pain. Please help me find a local doctor who will help me in this matter. Thank you!
