Oxycodone Hydrocodone Oral Test

In 2011, I was diagnosed with nerve and muscle damage, hip dysplasia, degenerative athritis of the cervical spine, fibromyalgia, herniated discs in my back, and lymphomas in my back. I decided to leave the pain clinic and switch to a pcp for my pain management. Now, I was at the pain clinic two years, never failed a test, never ran short, etc.

2013, I'm at my pcp. 16 months on oxycodone 30mg 4x daily. I also take ativan, hydrochlorothaicide (sp? Water pill), nausea meds, vitamin b12 shots, and another nerve medicine, paxil but with a different name. In 16 months here I've never failed a test, and for the first 14 months, never ran out of pills. For two months, I ran out of my pills 2 3 days early due to extensive back pain and pills not lasting as long. I told the Doctor this, and said she didn't want to change my prescription to 5 a day but was ok if I ran out a few days early

Fast forward to yesterday, I went in to pick up my prescription. They denied me, said I failed my drug test, and was kicked out of the program. I said I didn't understand how. They did they found hydrocodone in my system at 394 ml whereas my oxymoron was at 149 ml, but hydrocodone wasn't prescribed to me. I have not taken hydrocodone since 2011, maybe early 2012.

I'm out of my medicine as you run out the day your prescription can be filled. That's how they're system works. I asked to retest, they say no. Told me they'd help me find a new Doctor but I've called around to all pcp and pain management doctors...none will take me. Oh, I should also mention I had gastric bypass surgery and my body can't break down certain things. Also, certain life threatening issues I have had (like a hole in my stomach last year) don't show up on tests, ct scans, etc.

My questions are:

1) could one of my other meds affected the oxycodone and caused it to come up as hydrocodone? Or could the test have been wrong?

2) is there anything I can do to fight this or am I left to go through withdraw (been on meds 16 months maintenance, no change) and be in constant pain?

Any help or suggestions or questions are welcome. Doctors office will not even allow me to make an appointment, talk to the Doctor direct, or allow me in the building.

Hello, I failed a test for hydrocodone as well and I'm on oxycodone. I absolutely do not take hydrocodone and haven't for many years!! A year ago my test came up positive for it but my Dr said that if the pharmacy doesn't clean their drug trays that there can be cross contamination causing a failed drug screen. Now, a year later I have it in my urine again????!! It showed you as 200 ng/ml?Something is wrong here. I have multiple pain problems and blown discs and I've been on pain meds now for over 2 years straight. I have an appointment next week and I'll probably get kicked out for something I absolutely did not take!! I'm so sorry this happened to you!!! Are you ok? Did you find another Dr? Prayers for you and please keep me in yours. The good Lord knows that I have real pain and I've never used any illegal drugs and I don't understand why or how these tests show up to be a liar. I've been a very good patient for years.
