I'm taking Norco 10/325 & soma 350mg twice a day. They no longer work. I have cronic lymes disease 5 year's now. Pain & fatigue migraines & a whole bunch of symptoms. I need something stronger. I'm exhausted &can't work after 30 years in banking, I'm can't work anymore. What do you recommend for pain medication. I've done every thing thèy gave me to cure lymes nothing worked. I'm done. Just treat the pain. Help me! ## Percocet is slightly stronger. Fentanyl is a long term pain med without the highs and lows experienced with breakthrough drugs like Norco. Migraine meds, non narcotiv nerve meds like gabepentin, muscle relaxers like Valium, lots of choices! ## What M3sue has posted is correct, there are plenty of other options available....

Hi, my dog has been suffering severely from an abscessed tooth and we found tramadol to do wonders for him.. Well he's outta them and I was wondering if I could give him oxycodone, until I can get him to see the vet? He's 8 yrs old and about 15 lbs. I'm outta work and can't afford to have him seen right now... Thank you so much.... P.S. my poor lil guy.. ## There is a great risk of your accidentally overdosing your dog by giving him too much of the Oxycodone. Ref: Opiate Overdose Information Overdose symptoms in dogs can resemble those that are experienced by humans, and may include nausea, disorientation, sedation, and trouble breathing. Have you called a vet? They may be able to provide you with advice that will help, until you can take him in. Alternatively, you may w...

I have been with Dr galang for 5 yrs now n where I get my meds they got a new pharmacist n she is giving me probs on filling all of them. I started the 40 mg does of Viibryd about 3 weeks ago; I take it at night with supper. I have been prescribed Hydrocodone/acetam 10-325 mg for knee pain. I take the Hydrocodone as needed for pain, and I try to take it in the daytime away from the time I typically take the Viibryd. Question can I take the two together or should I keep taking them separately as I am doing. ## I didn't find any contraindications listed, so either way is likely fine, unless your doctor, or pharmacist instructs otherwise. However, taking them at the same time, or close together, may result in your experiencing more side effects than usual, which the FDA lists as possibly including nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, sedation, dry mouth, headache, and mood changes. Ref: Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen and Viibryd in...

i have been going to pain management for 6 years and taking 6 30 mg, 10 15 mg oxycodone and 1 a day of fentora 400 mg. now i am thinking about going to suboxone. i can't bear the w/d and thought sub would take care of it. but i see different outcomes for different people. i have got to do something, it's destroying my life and any and everything in it....HELP!!! ## Are you addicted, or just dependent on them? There is a difference, because addiction occurs when someone likes how they feel from the side effects of a medication, but since side effects wear off as your body gets used to a medication, they have to keep taking higher, and higher doses to get them back. If you are only taking them as prescribed, and not abusing them, then you are only considered to be dependent. Stopp...

I have been reading all of the posts on Fent. pain patches. I have been on 25 MG since March 2009. I was on one brand and could not get it to stay stuck after a hot flash. I am in surgically induced menopause. The pharm then switched brands, which do stick better. But I have noticed about an hour after a hot flash that I get dizzy and sick to my tummy. I also am in stage 3 kidney failure. I decided to call the number on the back Mylan box. YES, body temp. changes, such as fever or menopause, or even rise from exercise, can cause the patch to release more med than it should. ALSO, in my talking with the company I learned I should NOT be taking it with my kidney failure as it IS processed thru the kidneys. I am going to a highly respected pain doc in our area. When I told them about the k...

I have chronic lower back pain and shoulder pain. I have an 8month old girl (not breast feeding) and a 2.5 year old boy. My pain is dibilitating and I have trouble lifting and taking care of them. I've tried everything heat/ice therapy and meds. Vicodin or Norco are the two pain meds that seem to work for me and I am able to perform my daily duties with much less pain. I do not want anything stronger than them. I have not found a regular doctor to just give me a refillable prescription with out going to the ER. It's really tough for me to get around with the two kids and my pain. I wish to find just one doctor that I can go to and who realizes I have tried all other outlets and this is what works for me. I am a responsible mother not a junkie I am just tired of my chronic back p...

I'm living in columbus ms and few doctors got shut down and nobody wants to see me cause i was seeing one of the doctors. I was in a bad wreck in 99 got thrown out of bronco and they had to fly me to chatt tn. I have a mri. I was getting 120 percocet 10s every month and when he got shut down i was still getting 120 percocet 10s. now this other doctor im seeing is only writing me 90 lorcets 7.5 and that DOES NOT help. i have been seeing him for almost 2 years and i asked him if he can bump me up to tens or one more a day and he told me i was maxed out, but i know people that get 90 or 120 pain pills. i went today on my appointment and he wrote on the script not to be filled until the 6th. I was taking the Mallinckrodt hydrocodone-acetaminaphen 10-325. They were doing the job. My pharmacy ran out and was using Caraco hydrocodone-acetaminaphen 10-325. They were next to worthless for relief. What's the deal do you think? ## Hi Perry, Usually when you switch to another manufacturer's version of the same drug, the primary differences can be found in the list of "inactive" ingredients (which I personally don't believe are actually "inactive" as they say). To my understanding the various binders/fillers may account for how well you metabolize/absorb each active ingredient. Mallinckrodt's M367 (10/325) tablets reportedly contain the following set of inactive ingredients: crospovidone + magnesium stearate + microcrystalline cellulose + povidone + c...

approx 7mm in diameter, one side is plain the other has a line across with CD on the top and C below the line. ## Hi Peggy, The closest match I've been able to find is Co-codamol with (8mg) of Codeine + (500mg) of Acetaminophen. It is a round white pill with CO over COD. Do you think this could be your pill? Co-codamol (BAN) is a compound analgesic consisting of a combination of codeine phosphate and paracetamol (acetaminophen). Co-codamol tablets are used for the relief of mild to moderate pain when paracetamol or NSAIDs such as ibuprofen, aspirin or naproxen alone do not sufficiently relieve a patient's symptoms. Co-codamol is marketed under various brand names in addition to the generic name. Side effects: Side effects can include constipation, skin rashes, dizziness, sedatio...

What pill is oval and white that has 122 on one side and blank on the other? What is it used for? ## Hi, Adina! How are you? From what I can find, a white, oblong tablet with 122 on one side contains 600mgs of Ibuprofen, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach irritation. Learn more Ibuprofen details here. I have received an oblong white pill with T 134 on one side and nothing on the other side. I have seen discussions of T 134 yellow or T 194, but nothing showing only T 134 on an oblong white pill with nothing on the other side. Is what I was prescribed indeed a 10/325 oxycodone? ## Hi Lala, From what I can tell, a manufacturer by the name of Camber Pharmaceuticals produces generic Percocet pills with this "T 1XX" style imprint. You could try contacting them directly for more specific details about your pill. However, I've yet to come across any clues as to whether it's the correct medication/dose/imprint/etc... Can't find name brand percocet 7.5mg/325mg? My prescription says to dispense as written. Where can I get it filled? ## Nikki, What part of the country are you in? I am in Colorado. I'd get the yellow pages and start calling. ## Hello, Nikki! How are you? You will not get an accurate answer by calling pharmacies. They have no way of knowing if the person on the phone is a legitimate customer with a need, or a potential thief, so they will just tell you that they do not carry it. You will actually need to physically go into the pharmacies, with the prescription in hand, in order to get an accurate answer. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there ...

I found these pills in my foster child's bag. They were all broken in half. They are solid white, round, and only have 106 on them. ## These tablets are manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals and they list them as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, which is a generic for Percocet, a narcotic analgesic. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. I have been on Fentanyl patches 100mcg for several years now. Unfortunately it wouldn't always cover my pain and I would have to get another prescription from another doctor as a bridge to the original prescription. Due to the regulations in New York I was found out and now both doctors are threatening to cut me off. I need a pain management specialist who will understand this and will start SLOWLY taking me off of the patches, at least the current dose. I am in Westchester, County New York. Any advice? I will be in withdrawals in a day or two. ## Have you had any luck? Smaller than an aspirin. Pinkish peach round pill. L on one side. Blank on the other. Not coated. ## The L is imprinted on the pill...not in black or any color at all. ## @Jessica, I located an 81mg Aspirin tablet that's round and peach colored with a capital "L" embedded into one side. This one however is reportedly enteric-coated, which from my standpoint appears to be the only discrepancy in comparison to your depiction. NOTE: There are also other 81mg Aspirin tablets that have the "L" in black ink, but the one I'm describing above is not in any ink color that differs from the tablet itself. Whats the difference between loricet and loritab? ## Those are 2 different drug names with the same active ingredients. They both contain Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone, so they are basically the same. Narcotic pain killers. ## Actually the amount of ingredient has nothing to do with the name of the drug whatsoever. The name just varies according to who manufactured it, you will also find it listed under straight generic names with no proprietary name at all. They all contain Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone. ## Ever seen a Vicodin 10/650 or a Lorcet 5/500? Neither have I. And I’ve also never seen a Sackler in prison but that notwithstanding doesn’t mean it’s not possible...

i need to find the difference the drug store mixed my perscription with regular 800mg and the ip466 and i needed to know if they messed up and gave me the wrong thing ## The only different is the company that manufactured it. When it comes to generics, many pharmacies switch regularly, in order to keep the costs down for their customers, they will order from whichever company is offering the cheapest price, when they need to restock.
