I took 45mg for 5 days in a row. I am a smoker, inactive and slightly overwieght but not fat. Will 4 days be enough for it to leave my system? I am taking no other medications. ## If that is all you took for 5 days, then yes, it should be out of your system by the time 4 days are up. Most medications do not linger too long and cannot be detected unless someone does a blood, hair or tissue test. Hey. I just had surgery (tonsils burned & removed) and the dr prescribed me Acetaminophen with Codeine in it. I've been instructed to take 15mL every four hours as needed. Is that 4 times a day? ## Hi Brittany, 4 goes into 24 hours (1 day) six times. This means that "every 4 hours" translates to 6 times a day. However, "as needed" means that you don't necessarily have to abide by that regimen if you don't feel the need to take it as often. I weaned myself off suboxone and Nucynta. I took about about 50ccs of morphine sulfate at 2am on Monday morning and I haven't dosed in awhile, and I have a drug test this Thursday at 2pm. Will it be out of my urine by then? If anyone can answer this for me I'd greatly appreciate it. I know morphine usually is detectable in your urine up to 3 days, but I only took 2 doses of morphine so it's not that much, but I don't want to fail my test. I also have a high metabolism and I constantly pee. Failed first oral swab test in 3 years. I am a 61 year old disabled man. My Dr. assistant lowered my medication from 2 morphine sulfate 15 mg daily & 3 roxicodones 30 mg also daily. Have now been cut to only the 2 morphine sulfates 15mg er. With this large drop off the doctor said I wouldn't feel withdrawal but after about 6 to 7 hours I do. They only gave me 14 pills for 7 days. For my body chemistry I would have needed 3 of them a day to make it. They are now currently waiting for a note from a psychiatrist specialist in addiction. Last time I got my pain meds refilled at CVS, I ran out on day 22 of a 28 day script. No one in my house abuses my meds and I'm certain the pharmacy shorted me. Does the pharmacist have to fill narcotics or can the techs? I'm gonna count them before I leave next time. Who would I report this to? ## The techs can fill them, but the pharmacist is supposed to count them to make sure they are correct and then, they have to sign off on them. In some cases, depending on the pharmacy policy, you will see their initials on the bottle to verify that they've counted them and verified it is the correct medication. I had my first child at 17 and my second child at 18. I am in a lot of pain due to having 3 epidurals that really messed my back up. Because of my age no doctor i have been to wants to give me anything over a 10mg Vicoden which doesn't really work due to my nerve damage and bulging discs. I refuse to self-medicate bc of my lack of knowledge when it comes to prescription pain killers. At 20 years old with a 3 and 1 year old it's hard to be the mother my children need me to be. Does anyone know if you gain more weight as you increase the milligrams of Lyrica. I've gone from 150mg a day to 600 & still may have to increase, I know weight gain is a side effect but does it ever level out or as I increase my milligram will I continue to gain? I am on Lyrica for CIDP. I have gained a tremendous amount of weight. Exercise is difficult as I can't stand for long at all. Has anyone else found they can't control their weight?
