Have any of you tried to order from mail order pharmacies. I have Aetna insurance, and they have an rx by mail program. I have been taking 8 mgs. of Dilaudid 4 times a day for the last 6 months for a chronic illness. 3 months ago I had surgery to give some relief to my illness, and I have since found some stabilization to my symptoms. As such, my doctors want to wean me off of the Dilaudid. I am very nervous about the idea because I have noticed in the mornings (after not having the Dilaudid for 12 hours), I feel a bit anxious and I have joint and muscle aches and pains. Therefore, the first thing I do is take my Dilaudid. Currently to wean me off my doctor is suggesting that I taper back one pill a day (around lunchtime) each week so that I go from taking 8 4mg. tablets a day to taking one 4 mg. tablet a day. Hi, I am taking Percocet 10/325 for back, hip and leg pain. I recently had a multiple level Lamonectomy. When I was first prescribed this medication the pills were oblong and white. The next prescription that was filled was percocet 10/325 as well, however they were round, yellow and they seemed so much stronger. The white ones I had in the first prescription seemed to leave a lot of white residue in my medicine bottle. The yellow did not. The yellow round ones relieved my pain much better and I did not have to take as often. Both being generic and were 10/325 could it be the way they metabolize in your system? It's my understanding that the manufacturers started making ER (extended-release) tablets that have micro encapsulated beads within the pill that prevent the over release of medication. The reason they did that was due to the trend of chopping the pills into powder and insufflating it recreationally, which can be lethal. ## I agree with your logic, especially due to the widespread stance big pharma has taken against drug abusers. Yesterday my doctor wrote me a prescription for "Oxycontin 20mg tablets" When I got to shoppers I was told they no longer make that medication. I was looking to get the generic oxycontins that I know are now available in Ontario. My doctor does not know much about this medication, and I am curious if she needs to write the prescription out differently. I ordered 50mg Tramadol capsules from a website. The shipment came from Australia. They came in a white box with APOTEX on the outside. APO Tramadol 50mg was written on the outside. Are all generic percocet the same exact formula? The 4839V works fine for me but I just took 1 pill marked RP on one side and 5 325 on the other and felt really sick - numbness in feet, shallow breathing, chest pain. I'm new on 100 Fentanyl patches for the second day - feel OK, I've been on opioids for pain management for few years, read a lot of scary posts on misuse and deaths... I am so worried at this point, that taking a shower scares me.. Can anyone suggest any "coverage" for the patch area, while in a shower??? I don't think I can just "take a shower as is", it will come off, I'm sure... I got a blue pill with Watson 853 and it's supposed to be 10/325 Norco. They seem chalky and taste funny. If it's blue I would get them analyzed by a lab immediately and/or safely dispose of them, because my better judgment tells me they are counterfeit and may contain something else altogether that could potentially be harmful. Can this pill be broken in half and taken? 200 mg is very strong. Half of that dose would be more agreeable. Will it still work as it should? Just not as strong? ## Generally, if the medication is not in an extended release form, I don't see why it wouldn't be safe to divide the tablet in half for a smaller dosage. However, this particular tablet does appear to be extended release and therefore I would NOT encourage anyone to tamper with it in any way, even for legitimate reasons. Just to be sure we are on the same page, this is an oblong green pill with [M] on one side and "200" on the other. And it reportedly contains 200mgs of Morphine sulfate SR (slow release). I have a prescription for Percocet that was filled 4/25/17. I have 90 pills. The directions are one every 8 hours. Is that a 30 day supply? I have a refill on file at the pharmacy that was hand carried at the same time this one was. Sometimes I need to take more than one every 8 hours. I have spinal/disc issues and a pinched nerve to boot. Just trying to figure out when it's okay to call for the next refill. I don't want to break any laws! Just got my oxycodone prescription filled for 30 mg oxycodone. These were larger than normal, blue and round in shape. I don't have the number on them, although they are scored. I have been getting my prescription there for years, however the pharmacy states that they usually buy cheaper meds in generic when and where possible.
