No registration is required and your identity remains anonymous.I have been seeing a pain management specialist for about a year. We have tried just about every extended release along with breakthrough opioid oral medications, always inching from lowest dose to higher. But I also have severe chronic digestive problems which makes it very difficult to take oral medications . So my doctor put me on the fentanyl patch, but on day three I developed such a migraine headache I thought my eye would pop out. Is this a common side effect from fentanyl, and would it occur that long after application of the patch? It should be mentioned that on day three I also developed a case of shingles, so I am unsure which was the cause of the headache, the patch or the shingles. So my doctor put me back on the oral meds, but we're back to square one since I still hav...
1 am taken Tylenol #3 due to a recent operation along with 5mg of of Morphine is this safe? as I was told the body turns codiene into Morphine after a while ## They can be taken together, as long as your doctor has stated you should do so. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. It doesn't actually turn it into Morphine, your body breaks it down into the same metabolites, which is very different and does not create the risk of an overdose. Just make sure you stay within your prescribed dosing parameters. Is there anything else I can help with?

small white ## small and white and have a M on one side and a 4 on the other side ## Were you referring to the medication Dilaudid? My boyfriend takes high dosage of oxycontin and oxycodone through pain management doctor. He had to get his prescription early because he took too many the first 3 weeks. His doctor gave him a urine test today when he picked up his prescription early. He told the doctor he was going out of town so he could get them. He was only able to take a small dosage last night...no where near his normal prescription but up until yesterday was taking very close to his normal dosage. I am wondering what kind of test they would be running. If they run a level type test and since he was only a day of taking a smaller dose will the level show up as what he is supposed to be taken? He started to go into a withdrawal state last night. If it shows up as too low will he be kicked off pain management? I am ...
I was just changed from the best pain meds I have found in 12 years of chronic pain (Exalgo ER 16mg + 4mg x 4 for breakthrough) because of a Medicare deal. Now I'm dealing with Opana ER 30mg twice daily and 10mg hydromorphone. So far the itching hasn't killed me, but I am reminded of why we switched in the first place. On the other hand, the strength seems more... I haven't been able to fill Opana ER (from Thurs to Tues is a long haul especially if I didn't have a spouse who hide meds when I need them to...) My math sucks. Not as much as withdrawal or OD though. What's the conversion? Happy Florist's Day! My first day here, glad I found you. ## Yes, you are on a slightly higher dosage, now. Thats why it feels like the strength is more. This is a narcotic analgesi...
I was dispensed some counterfeit white Watson's 853's. They looked different to me but I never had a bunk one before. I knew they were bunk because I didn't get any effect from them besides a headache. Also, they were chalky numbers and letters rubbed off easily. Has anyone else come across these? ## Yes. Looked at the 3, it's different. The real ones have a rounded top and bottom. Counterfeits are straight. ## I go to a pain clinic and am prescribed 10mg hydrocodone. The Watson 853 is no good and offers no pain relief at all.
Hi! Im ana,i have a horrible tooth ache, in believe is an infection,i took and ibuprofen 800mg 2 hrs ago and it's doesn't go away, can i take hydrocodone 10 now, i really need to get ride of this pain. Thank you ## Hello, Ana! How are you feeling? Ideally, you should see a dentist, that way they can discover the root of the problem, prescribe appropriate medications, if necessary and fix whatever underlying issue has caused the tooth ache. The FDA classifies Hydrocodone as a narcotic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Have these medications been prescribed for you? ## Hi I'm Marilyn I need help with burning extreme pain on my left side of my leg my sciatic nerve is the cau...
My husband is on dialysis and takes oxycodone 10. Pain Management said he isn't taking pain meds, but he is. Now they want to stop prescribing pain meds. ## I have the same situation. I take 10 hcl mg oxycodone. I take it every 6 hours. My pain management doctor gave me a urine test and it came negative. I take my medication everyday as prescribed, and I can't understand how it came back negative. I was wondering what I can do so that my doctor knows I'm telling the truth and that I'm taking the medication. He is giving me a lab slip to take to quest lab to get a urine test now. Will quest lab know what urine test to do so that the oxycodone Hcl 10 mg shows up in my urine? ## Request 12 panel urine test, which includes oxicodone, standard 5 and 9 panel doesnt test for ox...
I take Oxycodone 30mg tabs 6x daily. I went in for my monthly appt. and had to give a urine sample. My dr called me and said it was negative for Oxycodone and positive for marijuana!!! What the hell??? Now my dr says I have 30 days to find a new dr!! Is there anything I can do to convince him to still treat me? Is there anything I can do to prove to him that Quest labs made a mistake? ## I don't have an answer as the same thing happened to me. It was humiliating! Went to another doctor and he refused to prescribe to me. I have been taking oxycodone 5mg 4 times a day for months!! I want to find out how this happened. Supposedly, the lab used the quantitative method but I have no proof of this. I am so tired of being treated like a drug addict by doctors and pharmacies. What can I do ...
looks like advil in color and is round and has a 1/2 imprinted on it ## do you know what it is? i found one in my brother's room and don't know if i should worry. ## It's Ibuprofen, 200 MG Hence the I for Ibuprofen, and the 2 for 200 ## Walter is correct, this company uses the same imprint on several different shapes, and colors of the same medication, which is 200mgs of Ibuprofen. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach irritation, and increased risk of bleeding. Is there anything else I can help with?

football shaped, pink ## This was a generic for Darvocet, which contained 100mgs of Propoxyphene, and 650mgs of Acetaminophen, it was a very mild opiate narcotic. However, it has been removed from the market, by FDA request, due to the fact that it was found to cause a high risk of cardiac dangers, as well as very high risk of overdose. Are there any other questions?
I understand that this is a Percocet, but is it a 5/325 mg dosage? If so, what is the equivalent to a 10 mg hydrocodone? ## Yes, that is correct, it is manufactured by Actavis Elizabeth. Each 5mgs of Oxycodone is listed as being equivalent to 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone, so this is a little bit stronger. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?
