I took norco prescribed by my Dr for pain for kidney stones.. I'm on parole and take urine tests. I tested positive for morphine. Does anyone know anything about this? I've never taken morphine before, not even in a hospital. ## Help! I have been seeing my pm doc for a year and need to take a urine test at each monthly visit. Rx is Norco 10/325 every 6 hours. Due to a physician error I am unable to get my prescription filled for 18 mg hydromorph contin, and he's now on vacation. I have old 100 mg tablets of ms contin that was prescribed in 2011. Hi. I'm 19 yrs old and just started my period today. I heard that taking 800mg of ibuprofen every 6 hours can temporarily stop the bleeding. My question is, does it work for any kind of ibuprofen or just the red ones? I have white 600mg tablets. I used to take Norco 10/325 for chronic pain by Watson, but Watson was bought out by Actavis. Wow, the difference in pain control went from 10 to zero. All Walgreens and CVS pharmacy's only carry Actavis, so I called around and finally found the generic that works even better than Watson's, and that's Mallinckrodt, at least for me. Most hospital pharmacies carry Mallinckrodt. Amneal, Qualitest and so many other manufacturers are absolute garbage! I have chronic pain from fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis in every joint in my body. I have 8 compression fractures in my back stating at the thoracic area to my lumber region. Ihave also fractured my neck region. I live in excruciating pain on a daily basis. It effects my saily function. I xant even vacuum and i when i do i pay for it for several days. What am i to do? I have gone thru every narcotic known to man except for fentanul. I dd Ont know where to turn next. Anysuggestions? I need your help. Found a small round light yellow pill. It has a score and a strange mark on one side. The other side looks like it has the number four. It also looks like MPS on the scored side. I'm from Canada. I have cancer and dropped the pill bottle while it was open. Had a bunch of different pills and not sure what it is. Could it be morphine 4 mg?

What do I do? ## I would suggest going to a Pain Management Clinic. There most likely is one nearby, as they are popping up everywhere due to the need to control narcotic medication levels. Many family doctors will not prescribe narcotic pain medicine to use long-term. Most doctors will refer you to a Pain Clinic to manage your pain. You should be able to talk to someone in his office, assuming it is still open, and they can refer you to a Pain Clinic. Does dilaudid keep anyone else awake? It is supposed to help me with the pain enough so that i can sleep, but it seems to make me feel more awake somehow. Any body else experience this feeling? How much stronger is a morphine 60 than a Norco 10 and how many norcos would it take to equal 1 ## Hello, Smeagle! How are you? Morphine and Hydrocodone actually convert on a 1 to 1 ratio, so to equal 60mgs of Morphine, you'd need 60mgs of Hydrocodone. However, you can't take that many, due to the Acetaminophen in them. The limit for that is 3,000mgs daily, as set by the FDA. Exceeding that could result in fatal overdose toxicity. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I have been taking Hydrocodone 10 since March for RSD the doctor changed me this week to Acetaminophen/cod3. The doctor said that the law made it where he can not give the hydrocodone any more. I want to know if they are the same? I was told they are the same. I'm scared to take it because I have sleep apnea and a real sensitivity to codone. I get breathing problems and rashes. I took it for pain but have a urine test. I want to know how long do I have to stop my prescribed medicine before it shows up. The test is next tuesday. I have chronic pain and its prescribed but I dont want it to show up. ## If u have A script be real....if it shows up u okay. If u messed up say it. if u have a drug test and have a prescription.u cant get in trouble. wow dont Get high till u take the urine. ## Opiods stay in your system for 3 days per my pain management doctor. ## if you have a rx for medicine your doctor will expect it to show up, otherwise he will think you are selling it on the street or not using it. I ran out of my prescription of percocet hurt bad so all I could find was a few oxycotin and a few roxycets wandering if ill pass probation drug screen. ## Ms worries, I don't think you should have a problem with passing your drug screen. Percocet, oxycotin, and roxicets are all in the same category. They are all opiates. The only difference is oxycotin is used as an all day pain reliever as percocets are used every 4 to 6 hours to relieve pain. But they are all considered in the same opiate category. So if you have a prescription for Percocet just give them the prescription number. The only way you wouldn't pass the drug screen was if they actually tested for those specific drugs. So If it was for a probation drug screen or something like that. I wouldn't worry so much. :) ...

Can ibuprofen cause a false positive for marajuana? ## No, I'm sorry, it won't. Ibuprofen is nothing more than a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory used to treat pain and fever. Were you also taking anything else? ## I take oxycodone and they say a month ago I tested positive for suboxone and now I am off pain clinic does oxycodone or what gives false positive for suboxone, i am 52 and never taken anything other then prescribed ## Yes...there are SOO many drugs that can cause a false positive for marijuana...I know this because I'm in the suboxone clinic, and I always get false positives for it once every 2 weeks or so..mines mailny because of the Protonix I take...but alieve, ibuprofen, all those can cause a false positive..and I do NOT smoke..so it's no possibility of ever...

I have a herniated disk in my lower back that is small & central so surgery is not recommend as it tends to worsen pain. I have been in a pain mgmt group for almost 2 yrs. Over a year ago they started me on morfine sulfate with my dosage at 60mg of an ER for the past year. They also had me on morfine sulfate for breakthrough pain. In July they switched my breakthrough from a morfine sulfate 30 mg to a 10 mg opana IR. Starting in July & repeating in Aug. they did a random UA on me & both showed-up with a positive for Codeine. This is the first time in two years of being with the PM group that codeine has shown up. My dr. Asked if I have been taking a cough syrup or anything with codeine in it. is there a pharmacy in grandisland Nebraska that carries yellow Norco 10/325 ## I'm from g.i. been living in Lincoln the last 3 years. I have an upcoming surgery and Hastings next week and I've previously been on methadone which is a nightmare I'm still on the low dose of methadone so they're really going to have to adjust the pain meds for my surgery.
