How long does a 8mg dilaudid pill stay in your urine stream? If the pill was taken approximately 8 days before a urine drugs screen will it show up on the test? I had only taken one or two pills. ## After 8 days, in theory, you should be fine. Like most other narcotics, the Hydromorphone in Dilaudid is usually detectable in a urine screen for approximately 4 to 5 days, after use. However, there is no precise time frame, because individuating factors are always going to play a role, such as your metabolism, overall health, activity levels and etc. Is there anything else I can help you with? ## I took a d 8 on friday eve will I pass a ur 2day please ## If your not a heavy frequent user you should have passed. Let me know if you did I'm wonder if I just dif one just now will I pass a t...

light blue on one half dark blue on the other half no print 32 mg oxycodone ## Hello, Trey! How are you? An Oxycodone compound would be something that was specially done by a compounding pharmacy, because a doctor ordered a dosage or mixture that is not commercially available. That would explain it not having an imprint, because compounding pharmacies typically use unmarked capsules. That said, this also means that there is no way to verify what they actually contain, unless you would pay to have them lab assayed somewhere. However, most compounding pharmacies do use plain clear or white capsules, because they are the least expensive and most readily available, so unless you picked this up from such a pharmacy yourself, the fact that they are blue gives reason to doubt that they actuall...

What does a percocet 10 mg look like? i have one here that has 10/325 and is yellow. Is that correct? ## There are actually many on the market, because it is available as a generic and how it will look, will vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. There are also several with the 10/325 marking, so it depends what the other markings are on the tablet. One that is very commonly available on the market in this dosage, 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, is a yellow, oblong tablet with the 10/325 on one side and E712 on the other. Is that the tablet you have? ## The percocet rx I got refilled from the internet are yellow with the imprint E712 or some times white with imprint IP 204. I've found the E712s to be more effective then the IP 204s but they both work just about the ...

I'm trying to identify a white oval shaped pill with U16 on one side and blank on the other side. Plus one white pill with 114 on one side and H on the other side. ## The tablet with the U16 marking is manufactured by Aurolife Pharma and they state that it contains 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen (NDC 13107-045). The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, and headache. The tablet with the H 114 marking is manufactured by Camber Pharmaceuticals and they state that it contains 500mgs of Methocarbamol (NDC 31722-533), which is a muscle relaxant that is used to the pain associated with muscle strains, sprains, and spasms. Do these tablets contain the same ingredients, to where you can take 2 different halves of them together? ## Yes, they both contain 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. (Norco NDC code for more information 0023-6021) Is there anything else I can help with?

The new CDC guidelines are in effect, causing my pain specialist to dramatically reduce my Opana ER and prn oxymorphone from 10mgs/ER BID to 5mgs/bid and keep the IM oxymprohone at 60/10mg tabs for 60 days. My understandibg is that it can be increased to a more therapeutic level after empilirical documentation that the 60/mg morphine/day is not providing the needed relief. I need an increase now! Not a reduction!!! How long must a person sustain personal viability before getting g a therapeutic dosage!? ## Go to change.org and sign the petition to make chronic pain sufferers exempt from CDC restrictions on schedule 2 drugs. There are a few other similar petitions as well. One is for a "pain card" to allow ease in getting meds needed.

I have been prescribed Qualitest yellow 10/325 Norco for over a year now for my Fibromyalgia and only take one pill at night which has helped my pain level tremendously. Qualitest is the only manufacturer that has worked for me as I have tried a few others they just upset my stomach and give me headaches. I just recently picked up my new prescription and something is VERY wrong with this new prescription. Normally I don't have any side effects but this batch, my stomach hurts when I take them and they just give me a massive headache. I have absolutely no pain relief like I always have in the past. I'm thinking they may have changed the inactive ingredients. Does anyone have an ideas on how to find out if they have changed something in their formulation? I am not crazy here, some...

I have been sucessfully taking morphine sulfate ER 60mg manufactured by Mallinckrodt for chronic pain for awhile. I prefer it to other generics (Endo, for example). The pharmacy I've been going to has been kind enough to special order it for me but say that they can't continue to do so due to corporate restrictions with pharmaceutical distributors. As I mentioned, I prefer Mallinckrodt to other manufacturers of generic morphine sulfate ER. While I realize the main ingredients are exactly the same, other ingredients such as fillers and time release methods do vary quite a bit. I have been having quite a bit of difficulty finding pharmacies who carry Mallinckrodt MS ER 60mg at a reasonable price (that seems to vary widely, too). Why is this particular medication becoming so diffic...

My son died with a blood level of 46.6 ng/ml in his blood system, what does this mean other than it was a high level. ## Cindy, you need to.take the autopsy report to your Dr and ask him to explain it. No.parent should be getting answers like this on.a public forum. ## Hi Cindy, I'm very sorry to hear about your loss. According to a drug toxicity chart I found here, 10-40 ng/mL is listed as a "therapeutic" blood level of Hydrocodone and anything greater than 100 ng/mL is listed as a "toxic" blood level of Hydrocodone. I'm sure one's tolerance to opiates also plays a significant role, but it looks to me like your son wasn't that far off from what's considered to be a normal range. Just wanted to share these details so you can at least have something el...

how long does it take a oxycontin 80mg op to start working after you swallow it ## About 15 to 20 minutes, though it can vary some depending on your own body, as well as if you've recently eaten. Learn more Oxycodone details here. It is a time released formulation, so it won't have as much of an immediate effect as the regular or instant release, though. Hello, I am on fentanyl patch 50mcg. I think i got longer times on same medicine with pill medicine. This is longer times i have been on the medicine before needing an adjustment to a higher medicine. can you get tolerant faster on a patch verses a pill pain medicine? If a person naturually can heat up does the patch dump more medicine in the body and thus run out earlier then total three days? I also notice if you have lost muscle tone it seems the patch doesn't stick as well. IF the muscle is more away from the body could affect how medicine is delivered in body? I notice i can't water walk at all for if water gets to the patch i need another one before my time is up or more times when doesn't seem to work as well if water gets on it. I never take another patch but this is...

I found two white, circular pills, approximately 1/4 of an inch in diameter. I want to know how many mg they are and what kind of pill they are. I think they might either be oxycodone or percocet. ## Also, they have absolutely no markings on either side. Perfectly smooth on either side. ## If there are not markings on them, then we can actually rule them out as being a U.S. approved prescription medication, so they likely aren't Percocet or Oxycodone. All manufactured prescription tablets in the U.S. are required by law to have unique imprints to enable their identification. Thus, it is most likely that these are over the counter medications, of some type. Learn more OTC drugs details here. Where were they found? That may help to narrow it down, so we can find an identification. ## ...

I want to take codeine but am allergic to morphine and I've heard that they are similar drugs. So I want to know if this is true, and if so, could I possibly die from that sort of reaction? ## Codeine and Morphine are two different drugs, but they are both opiate pain killers. Furthermore, when your body metabolizes the Codeine, it is converted into Morphine. In some patients, this may result in lethal blood levels ... Some people may have allergic reactions to codeine, such as the swelling of skin and rashes ... A potentially serious adverse drug reaction, as with other opioids, is respiratory depression. [1] You may very well be at risk of an allergic reaction and should work closely with your doctor to ensure that it would be safe to take. I hope this helps! Can you write back an...

Can fentanyl 50 mcg/h and morphine sulfate cr 30 mg tab, be taken together at the same time? ## Have you consulted a doctor? Where they prescribed to be used together? Since these are both controlled release medications, they are rarely used together, in this manner, due to the risks it can cause, since they both cause depression of the central nervous system. This is usually only done in cases of very severe, chronic pain, where the person has already built up a tolerance to the narcotics and is no longer getting effective relief from them. Normally, if someone is using the Fentanyl patch and requires a medication for breakthrough pain, they are given a regular release or instant release medication. ## Did a doctor prescribe these? So I just got tramadol and it says that it has hydrochloride in it. Is it opioid-based? I read the instructions and it said they are a narcotic. ## Hi Nancy, According to Wikipedia, hydrochloride is defined as an acid salt. This is not opioid-derived from what I can tell. In the pharmaceutical field, my understanding is that the presence of hydrochloride acts as a catalyst for better absorption / bioavailability. For this reason, hydrochloride exists in a myriad of drug formulations (including non-narcotics). However, there are reports of individuals being hypersensitive to hydrochloride and noting that they should try to avoid it whenever possible. These patients may be few and far between, but if in doubt I would encourage you to contact your pharmacy just to be on the safe side. I ho...

I have a round white pill with ASPIRIN imprinted around the edge with a 1 in the very center of one side and blank on the other side. ## Hi James, Sounds like the odds of this being Aspirin are probably well within the realm of possibility. Albeit, the closest match to your imprint that I've seen is "A1 ASPIRIN" - just adding an "A" to your depiction above. The word ASPIRIN wraps around the border of the pill on one side and A1 is imprinted (centered) on the back. These are reportedly Aspirin 325mg tablets. For verification, the manufacturer is listed as Major Pharmaceuticals Inc. I hope this helps!

I have 3 herniated disc in my lower back and severe nerve damage down my leg. I've been on Oxycodone 10/325 for the past 4 years.
