I found this pill in the back seat of my car and I'm totally baffled at where it came from and what it is... Any ideas? ## Another discussion thread here on this same topic has identified a yellow pill with APO H4 on it as 4mg Hydromorphone - A medication used for moderate to severe pain relief. I was just prescribed nucynta after being on percocet for over 3 years. Im very nervous about taking the first dose after reading the side effects. I work in the public eye and do ALOT of face to face contact and am nervous about not being able to think straight or put out a coherent thought. I was given a round white pill with the numbers 512 on one side and a line (to split) or score on the other side. With my old Dr. he had me on 30 mg oxycodone 4x a day and 190 mg extended release morphine 3x a day. I had to see another Dr. as this one left my ins. plan. New Dr. said no, to taking 30 mg oxycodone due to my age. I am 69 yrs. old. Is he lying? ## Did he give any other reasons? I have an abscessed tooth, and my dentist prescribed me vicodin 5/300. Every 4-6 hrs as needed. If one doesnt do the trick do you think it would be safe to take 1 and a 1/2 to 2 every 4-6 hrs as needed? ## It should be fine. Your tooth should stop hurting in 2-3 days and you'll have left overs anyways. Don't take more than you need though or we will see you back on here asking how to kick opiate addiction. Can you take Norco and a probiotic at the same time? Or do you have to wait an hour or so in between? ## There shouldn't be an issue, from what I know. The FDA warns that Norco carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. (NDC 0115-1559 for more details.) Hi..I am currently taking OxyContin 20mg 3xdaily, Percocet, Zanaflex, Neurontin & Trazodone for the chronic pain that I've been suffering for for over 13 years. It's a debilitating illness (RSD/CRPS) and has only gotten worse over time. Now it effects every single part of my body. I can't increase the OxyContin because it is not avail in generic and I can't afford to continue to pay out $475 every mth for 90 pills so I need to find something that will help relieve the pain just as good as the OxyContin, if not better. Oblong white pill with no markings on either side; between 1/2 - 3/4 long by 5/16 wide ## IF it has no markings, then it is not a U.S. prescription medication of any type. I have 2 questions....1)I take Lortab 10/500- 4 per day as needed. I also have severe IBS with sudden and long lasting bouts of diarrhea at least 3 times a week, for which I take prescription Lomotil and Diphen/Atropine to stop the diarrhea. Due to ocassional nausea associated with the Lortab, I sometimes throw it up shortly after taking. I am testing NEGATIVE for opiates in my urine screens. Is it possible that the severe diarrhea is associated with the negative drug urine screens for hydrocodone? I took my medicine over the weekend and again on Monday and on Thursday I was both urine and blood screened. i usually take 1 blue 30mg oxycodone pill but right now, i have 6 5mg oxycodone pills-is it ok to take all 6 at once if im use to taking 1 30mg oxycodone pill? ## Good question,.....on one hand I would say ther shouldn't be any problem taking six 5mg tables. However, when combined and taken together this may seem like an increase to your body. To be safe, I would say don't take more than 3 at a time. ## It also depends on the type of Oxycodone, were you taking the time released that is the generic for Oxycontin, the immediate release or the regular release formulation? And are the 5mg pills the same formulation? If they are, then it would be the same as taking 30mgs, but if they are not, it will not work the same. I have started Lyrica and I am up to 3 X 75mg capsules a day. There are several complications and they are too lengthy to go into here. But I have found that my sleep episodes during the day and early evening have skyrocketed. I have been taking hydrocodone for about 2 years now, my dr recently did a blood test and she said there was no norco in my system so she cut me off of it. Why would this happen if I take it everyday as percribed. I have been in so much pain due to my MS and degenerative disk disease and she wont give it back because she thinks I dont take it. why was it negative ## First off, the doctor should have did it again just to make sure it wasn't a mistake. Also you should have your own test done and if yours came back positive then you should show it to your doctor. If she still refuses to release your medications you should get a lawyer! I had received prescription for percocet 5 325 white round with 512 and other side line score mark and noticed that some are missing numbers,look rougher not smooth and even thinner then the ones with markings. I am confused and don't understand how these pills are different or if they are something else. mylan ## Are you saying there are no markings on the tablet? If there are no markings, it is going to be difficult to narrow down what this is, or even if it is made by Mylan. That company makes both prescription and over the counter items, however, all their prescription products have unique markings on the tablets to enable their identification. Thus, I am forced to conclude that it is probably an OTC item and there are many such products that meet this description.
