Prescription filled by various companies. Last was Teva , excellent results, can cut in half, works. Now Aurobindo, can take whole tab, something I have never done, it does nothing. No pain relief at all. Grateful still have some Teva to cut up. Looks like hip replacement needs replacing. Understand high failure. ## What are the markings on the tablet you are having a problem with? Sometimes the manufacturer listed on the bottle is just a licensed distributor, not the company that actually made the medication. Can you please post back and clarify? I am wondering if this is a generic tylenol or something similar? I'm wondering if there are pictures of generic tylenol in various shapes and sizes? ## I cannot identify a pill. It has a large upside down V with a P in between the 45 degree angles. I have seen others describe a similar pill here, but unlike those, this one does not have an A, nothing is underlined, though the number 013 does appear on the back. Someone suggested it might be Vicoprofen, but I have never seen that drug in person. Any help would be greatly appreciated. ## Does anyone know what a small white tablet (quite a deep little tablet) is with 5VP on one side is please? Hi all! I had Florida blue health insurance and they inadvertently dropped me yesterday. I turned 26 in June but my mom was able to add me to her employer plan in July. They gave me no notice in December and as I mentioned spontaneously cut me off. My first question is: If I decide against buying health insurance, can I still pay out of pocket to see my pain management doctor? From what I'm seeing on the website I think I can; and can I pay my prescriptions (narcotics included) in cash at any pharmacy of my choice without discrimination for not having insurance? Also, my second question is like I said I have been seeing my pain doctor and this whole thing couldn't have happened at a worse time as two weeks before Christmas I slipped and fell down the stairs. My doctor increased ...
I am 19 weeks pregnant. I have been taking 2mg Dilaudid every four hours daily, which would be a total of 12mg in a 24hr period. I have been taking it since 13 weeks pregnant, so a little over 6 weeks. I have been taking it every single day for chronic kidney pain. My doctor decided to transfer my care to a pain management clinic, and my appointment is not until Tuesday, it is currently Saturday. My OB refuses to write me a script to get to through until my appointment, and even though I have been taking them only as directed, they want be to come in and be converted to Methadone. NOT HAPPENING. I will suffer through all the pain in the world before having a child born to Methadone. My OB has refused to wean me down on the medication, so I am currently off it cold turkey. My last dose w...
My daughter is in stage 4 lung cancer. Her liver levels were very high. Is it caused by OxyContin (60mg)? ## Hi Chi, I'm very sorry to hear about your daughter's condition. According to NIH.gov, "Oxycodone by itself has not been linked to serum enzyme elevations during therapy or to clinically apparent liver injury." However, they go on to note that the combination of oxycodone with acetaminophen is linked to many cases of acute liver failure caused by an unintentional overdose of acetaminophen. Source: livertox.nih.gov/Oxycodone Having said this, my theory is that OxyContin isn't the culprit. Is your daughter taking anything else or undergoing chemo? I hope she makes a full recovery.
how long will a 40 mg opana stay in your urine? ## Opana is a narcotic pain medication containing the active ingredient Oxymorphone. For a urine test, it will be out of your body wiithin approximately 48 to 72 hours. If you are taking it by prescription, though, you shouldn't have to worry about it and should just inform them when you go to have the test done. Can any one tell me what this large round pill with 30 imprinted on one side and on the other it has a R with a P under it. Does n e one know what these are?! Plz help ## @Concerned mother, Based on your description, I believe you may have a 30mg oxycodone hydrochloride pill manufactured by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals (hence the R P). I'm not actually finding any images of this pill online, but the description seems to match up with yours, being a white round pill marked with a 30 on one side and R P on the other. Oxycodone is a semi-synthetic opioid used to treat moderate to severe pain, but is also very addicting/habit forming at that. So I'd be cautious about where you found it if you happen to have any kids around. Hope this helps! ## Large white pill 30 on one side R with a P un...
How long should I wait before switching from Tylenol with Codeine to Norco 7.5/325? I took 2 Tylenol at about 10 a.m. When can I switch to Norco? I've been on Tylenol with Codeine for years and the pain has gotten worse... ## Usually, unless your doctor or pharmacist has instructed otherwise, you can do a clean switch at the next dosing schedule. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. the Norco is stronger than the Codeine, so it would be best not to double up, until you see how it is going to affect you.
