A clear capsule with blue powder and no markings or imprints ## I found a jar of clear capsules with a black band. It has no markings, but has black and blue little pills inside of it. It may also have clear liquid. ## I found what seems to be the same pill at my workplace. It is a clear capsule containing a clear liquid inside. Floating in the liquid contents are about 12 small blue and black beads. The capsule is sealed on the outside with a black band along the seam where the two capsule halves meet. There are no other markings of any kind. Any idea what sort of drug or supplement this is? Please advise. ## All manufactured medications in the U.S. are required to have an imprint to enable their identification, in case of emergency. Is 20mg oxycodone instant release ok to break in half and only take half. It has 12 on one side and NP on the other with a small line on top and bottom. I take the whole thing and makes me feel really sick. So I wanted to break it in half and only take half. ## Yes, tablets can be cut, or broken, as long as your pharmacist has not directed you not to do so. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Are you on any other medications? ## While the instant release tablets are usually fine to cut in half, cutting extended-release tablets can be fatal! If you take a 24-hour extended release tablet of oxycodone, it keeps your blood levels constant for 24 hours, as thou...

Hi, Since I heard that Impax finally got the green light to distribute Oxymorphone ER (Opana ER) generic through Global Pharmacy. I didn't hesitate to rush to my PM doc and he instantly had me switch to this new drug. He prescribed me 40 mg twice per day to treat my busted back & fibromyalgia. I noticed the pill is round in shape with G74 on one side with nothing on the other. The color for the 40 mg ER tablet is an orangy/gold color. Ever since Endo ruined their product with the new TRF formulation. I promised myself to jump back on the bandwagon as soon as the generics were released. Today is a great day for all who suffer chronic pain. Yay! 8-) Moon ## I am very glad that it's helping you so well. Yes, the generics are available now, but it may be a bit before they can ea...

round white pill with k10 on one side and nothing on the other side ## This is Acetaminophen 500mgs, an over the counter generic or store brand for Extra Strength Tylenol. ## If the K has an arrow forming the top right part of the K, it is generic Tylenol 500mg. If the K has no arrow, it is Atarax 10mg which is a prescription medication. ## The hell it is. It's 10mg hydroxyzine used to treat anxiety, allergies, and other conditions. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE AS SUBSTITUTE FOR TYLENOL ## I have a small round white pill that's smooth on one side and the other side has a k10 on it. Can you identify it? I found it on the kitchen floor while mopping.

I'm only 25 years old, but have the spine of someone twice my age with degenerating discs and one herniated disc, due to years of excessive exercise and heavy lifting. Most of the time my pain is under control, but when it gets bad, even on 50mg of hydrocodone a day I can barely move. But of course no doctor wants to prescribe a 25 y/o anything stronger. I've been researching local doctors and pain management centers and one that came up was Dr. Daniel Cha of Valparaiso, IN. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with him and if so, is he any good? and does he not treat you like a total junkie (like many pain management doctors do)? ## yes, ha i WAS his patient. he has no bedside manner, he cut his whole practice down on meds, mg wise. if you got insurance and want to ge...

I Lived in new jersey my entire life and i am going to move to Florida about an hour from Daytona. I have bin on pain meds from pain management. I get Roxy 15 4 times a day and oxycontin 30 3 times for 8 years will I be able to get this in Florida ? ## Doubt it. DEA has scared the doctors with prosecutions, life imprisonments and even murder charges down here. It's horrible for legitimate patients to get help. I was on 10mg Percocet in North Carolina and it rook 4 years of jumping through hoops and unhelpful repetitive medical procedures just to get 7.5mg Loratabs. Mind you, this is with 15 years of prior medical records and such. Good luck is all I can say. ## I recently bought a house in Bonita Springs, FL (next to Naples, FL ). When I first arrived w/script for MS Contin 100mg (I...

I have been on 15 milligram oxycodone instant release for almost a year I've got to where there are not working as well as they were in the beginning I need an increase to the 30's and my doctor has me on methadone I don't understand why he has me on methadone for breakthrough and opiates at the sametime I would rather him give me something else for breakthrough like a 30 milligram oxycodone to help with my breakthrough and take me out to methadone ## Hello, Vince! How are you? Methadone is an opiate narcotic, many people take it for chronic pain. Does the Methadone help? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. And jumping to doubling your Oxycodon...

Seven years of back pain with long history of muscle relaxant and more recently oxycodone and lorazepam. Docs finally did MRI and found Spondylolisthesis Grade 3-4 with bulging disc and appears vertebrae have already fused. Still being worked up by Neuro surgeon. Pain mgmt. just switched me from 10mg Vicodin every 4 hrs to 25mcg Fentanyl patch every 3 days with 7.5 Vicodin every 6-8 hrs for breakthrough. Started patch last week. First seemed to work okay but over the last two patches breakthrough pain has increased with increased pain down my legs. I get sweats then chills with pain in all my joints, arms, legs, hands, feet. Seems increasing my Vicodin and taking it more frequently is the only thing that relieves it but sometimes need 30mg of Vicodin in a short time-frame. Not sure if t...

I'm switching to 3 40mgs a day of Opana ER and hoping it does better than 80mg of OxyContin twice a day. Any advice or info please ## Hello, Timps! How are you? Opana is actually twice as strong as Oxycontin, so you'd only need 80mgs of it daily to equal the 160mgs of Oxycontin that you were taking, thus, taking 120mgs a day will actually be a stronger dose and may provide better pain relief. The FDA classifies these medications as being narcotic analgesics, so they carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I went from OxyContin to opana as well and great as I thought OxyContin were, opana surprisingly not only lowered my pain level but kept me even...

They do not work and I get extra headaches from this pill/brand. I DONT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS with Mallinckrodt but these suck. ## @jojo, Sorry to hear about your troubling experience with KVK Tech. According to a number of threads I’ve seen here on this site, KVK Tech is being widely regarded as one those Oxycodone manufacturers that people should steer clear of, since their tablets aren’t providing anywhere near the amount of relief as other brands/generics. However, if Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals is what works best for you, I would just encourage you to ask your doctor to specifically write that down on your prescription, based on it’s proven track record to help manage your level of pain. I’m not sure if this will make your experience with trying to fill the scr...

I had waist pains (isinqe - I don't know what you call it) or back pains and I was given this medicine called Allecet. Is it appropriate for my condition? ## This tablet is listed as containing Cetirizine, which is an antihistamine that is used to treat, or prevent allergies, so no it will not treat pain. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and drowsiness. Was this prescribed for you?

I take 70mgs of methadone daily. I’ve been experiencing toothaches but it is unbearable right now. I have a Dilaudid 8mg here. If I take that now at 11 pm, will that affect my methadone dose tomorrow? Will it counteract my methadone or will my dose still work as accurately as any other day? I usually get my dose after lunch. ## Hello, Leslie! How are you? There is a chance that the Dilaudid may not work, since you are on the Methadone. The NIH warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Are you on any other medications?

My Dr put me on baclofen for rls and I was also prescribed 600 mg ibuprofen for pain in the hospital. I had fluid around my heart. I also have epilepsy and take lamictal 100 mg twice daily and onfi 60 mg day. Also keppra 500 mg twice daily. Can I get addicted to taking baclofen and ibuprofen with my other medication? Can you take ibuprofen with flexeril? I am so exhausted all the time and cannot sleep at night. ## What was the condition that caused fluid around your heart? Most nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories, such as Ibuprofen, are contraindicated in such cases, because they may cause fluid retention as a side effect, along with nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach irritation, and increased risk of bleeding.

shape and color of tramadol 37.5/325 ## ovol shaped light blue r 753 ## To the original poster, if two doses are listed, it would actually be a generic for Ultracet, which contains Acetaminophen, and Tramadol. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Can you please post back with the markings on it? Since it is available as a generic, it isn't possible for me to post descriptions of all of them for you. But if you can share the markings, I will gladly check for you to confirm what the tablet contains. Joe, Actavis lists that tablet as containing 5mgs of Glyburide and 500mgs of Metformin, it is most commonly used to treat diabetes. The FDA lists its typical side effects ...
