I’m already maxed out on maximum Ibuprofen at 1600 mg a day spread out 4xs a day and a (really low dose of Gabapentin 200 mg 3xs a day) for forearm pain. The Ibuprofen isn’t enough when the pain hits hard and fast despite having a high tolerance for pain. ## Acetaminophen (also known as paracetamol or APAP) is the same thing as Tylenol. Tylenol is just the retail "brand" name. It is not an NSAID. It can be hard on your liver but typically won't cause ulcers or bleeding. Ibuprofen (brand name Advil) IS an NSAID which can increase your risk of bleeding, raise blood pressure and increase the chance of cardiovascular ailments. Tylenol and Ibuprofen are safe to take together and c...

Does percocet 15mg come in color white? Other than green or light green is there such a thing as a white 15mg percocet? ## There is no Percocet available that contains 15mgs of anything, it is only available with a maximum of 10mgs of the Oxycodone. A 15mg tablet would just be one that contains Oxycodone and it is available in the time released formulation under the name brand Oxycontin and in the regular released formulation which is available under the brand name Roxicodone, as well as a generic. Learn more Oxycodone details here. And that said, the color doesn't actually mean anything. The manufacturer can make it any color they please. The only way to be certain of what it is would be by checking the imprint on the tablet. Can you post back with any markings on it? If you do so,...
I have two pills that have different markings; one has "93" on one side and nothing on the other, both are white oblong pills second has number "142" on one side and, again nothing onn the other. they are the same size and color (white) as my previuos vicodin prescription? ## There are 2 possibilities for the one with the 142 marking. If it is an elongated oval, that is only rounded on the ends, so it's shaped more like a caplet, it's a 500mg Metformin tablet. If it's more of an egg shaped pill, then it contains 300mgs of Bupropion in a time released formulation. However, I can't find any results for the one with just a 93 on it. Was it in your prescription bottled, or just found somewhere? ## White oval pill 142 is Generic for Wellbutrin ## I have pills ...
Hi I have a serious question to ask. I have been on Norco 10mg/3.25mg for a while now because I have chronic pain in my back. These pills that I take are yellow in color, and they help a great deal. However, I got my meds filled, and this time I got a white pill that reads on one side Watson 3203, and on the other side a straight line down the middle. This pill has the same mg as my yellow Norco do. Here is the question. Why does this pill not help my pain? What ingredient has been took out. of the white watson 10mg/3.25mg pill? I have read were other people are having the same issue as me. Plus this is not the first time I have got this watson 3203 white pill, and each time I do it does not help my pain and others pain! I hope after reading this people at the watson company may read my...
I am on disability for chronic back pain and degenerative disk disease, in the past I have been on 80 mil oxicontin for about eight years, but have not been on any medications in the past year. I am now at the point of needing pain meds again. ## Hello, Stan! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're in pain. If you require such a medication on a long-term ongoing basis, you'll need to see a pain management specialist. Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly? If so, asking them to refer you to someone would most likely be the quickest and easiest way to get the help you need. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## There are no new regu...
as oxycodone capsule-looks like Oxycontin breakthrough capsules ## Capsule with ETHEX 041 is 5 mg Oxycodone (generic Oxycontin) ## It is indeed 'oxycodone' 5mg.A pharmacist clarified this for me.It is not Oxycontin.Oxycontin is a brand name for a delivery system for oxycodone(generic drug and actual name) eneabling the drug to be given twice a day. There are tremendous advantages to this. The blood serum level of the pain reliever (oxtcodone) is kept w/out unchanging. No troughs of pain followed by another pill and a wave of relief-that begins to deminish within 3-hrs and is no longer reducing the suffering somewhere betwen 4-6 hours. This leads to forgetting how many the patient has taken, reduced pain relief-THE WHOLE POINT-life is made easier for family as the medicine is only gi...
Pacofen (Milicod) (Codeine) ## Is milicod safe for breastfeeding mummy/baby? ## This drug is a pain reliever which contains Acetaminophen (Paracetamol), Caffeine, and Codeine. In the United States, similar brand names are Panlor and Trezix (the difference being they contain Dihydrocodeine Bitartrate as the opioid ingredient). Because of the Codeine inside this medication, "care should be used during breastfeeding as it may result in opiate toxicity in the baby". [1].
I have taken Hydrocodone 10/500 for years on and off. Not dependent. The worst side effect was head itching. tolerable. I was off and recently prescribed 10/325. The itching is head to toe unbearable. I have scars from scratching. It lasts for days with very little help from Benadryl 50 mg. every 6 hours. My doctor said Oxycodone 10/325 will be better. I took it after a meal. One to two hours later I am very nauseous. 3-4 hours latter headache and intense itching. 13 hours later I still feel sick from it. When I need pain medication I need it badly. I can't suffer in bed all the time. Help please. what are my alternatives? ## Hello, Bon! How are you? There are quite a few others available, such as Opana, Dilaudid, Fentanyl and Morphine. The FDA lists all of these as being narcotic a...
the bottle says hydrocodone bitartrate cyclobenzaprine hcl on it. 5/ 5mg. What is this? ## White capsule no markings...ibuprofen??? ## As to the original poster, since that is not a standard medication that's available in the U.S., there is a chance it was special ordered by someone's doctor and created for them by a compounding pharmacy. They frequently use unmarked capsules. The FDA warns that, if those are the ingredients it contains, it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. Gary, most Ibuprofen comes in tablet form. Do you know anything else about it, such as its origins? ## Hello, I had a group of family members stay with me for a week and I found a white capsule without any markings in the ro...
T r on blue and 600 on red, two small scores on gray in middle ## it is capsule I found in drawer. letters Ty in black imprinted on blue area and red end has a POI or DOI cant read. grey is in middle, and has a pill drawn in white on that area ## To the original poster, I think the marking you were looking at was actually TY 500, which is an Extra Strength Tylenol tablet, rapid release. It is most commonly used to relieve headaches, and mild pain. It is manufactured by McNeil Consumer Healthcare NDC code: 50580-0488 The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, headache, dizziness, and stomach irritation. Scuba, the pill drawing in that area is actually the rapid release aspect of these tablets. Though they can vary, inactive ingredients may include: Benzyl Alcohol...

I've been on this medication for over 8 yrs now and have seen so many different kinds of oxycodone, however, I don't see these too often. Thank you in advance for ur help. ## It is manufactured by Aurolife Pharma and they list them as containing 5mgs of Oxycodone. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, and headache. Have you taken it, yet? If so, how is it working for you? ## These pills are nasty tear up my stomach get. Headaches dont work for pain give me gout attacks other brands don't do this ## I just took one will update. I found a blue pill on the floor in my laundry room, it is caplet shape with L751 printed on one side and smooth on the other side. I have no idea what it is and have tried searching the internet with no luck. Can someone please tell me what this is? Thanks in advance for your help. ## I haven't found a listing for this, either, but I will keep looking and post back if I do. However, what I can tell you is the reason it's so difficult to identify is that pills with the L marking, followed by 3 additional letters are over the counter products, so they aren't required to have their imprints logged with the FDA. If it is a blue and caplet shaped, there is probably a good chance that is something like a Tylenol PM, which contains Acetaminophen and Diphenhydramine: But, there...
Hello and first thank you for any helpful replies. I just moved to SoCal from NorCal and cannot find a pharmacy that carries generic Actavis 30mg IR Oxycodone. It has been my experience that generics made by KVK and Mallinekrodt make me sick. My doctor has heard other patients say this about Actavis products working better and the pharmacist I spoke to said it could be different binders/fillers/dyes that could be making me sick even though they are supposed to be inert. Can anyone name a pharmacy that carries Actavis 30mg IR Oxy in or near Orange County CA? I'm willing to drive acceptable distance to find them, to avoid the side effects of the other generics. Thank you. ## Hello Matt, Sorry to hear that the brands offered to you didn't suite you. It's interesting but I'v...

However, if there is an announcement, something to keep in mind is that it may be written in Filipino. I have a red pill with KALI on the front and 083 on the back. Does anyone know what this is? ## Kali 083 is Tramadol ## Par Pharmaceuticals lists this tablet as containing 37.5mgs of Tramadol, and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. It is a generic for Ultram, it is an opioid pain medication. NDC code: 49884-946 The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Hi. I've got a blister pack of 10 red pills. No markings/letters etc. 2 lines scored crossing eachother. Blister pack says they are tramadol hydrochloride USP 200mg. Manufactured by centurion laboratories in India. I'd like to make sure they are what they say they are. Thanks. ## Is there also a marking on the package UDT-200? If so, that is how Centurion packages their Tramadol tablets, they list them as containing 200mgs. The NIH warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.

Hi there. I just want to know if it's safe to take topzole 40 with (statin) storwin 10mg and ecotrin as well as puricos 300mg (for gout)? I have been feeling much weakness from my hips to my legs as well as dizziness. I am 43 years old. ## Have they all been prescribed for you? Puricos contains Allopurinol, it is most commonly used to treat gout and kidney stones, Topzole contains Pantoprazole and it is used to help reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach, Ecotrin contains Aspirin and is frequently used to heart health and blood thinning, Storwin contains Rosuvastatin and is used to help lower cholesterol. The only interaction I found listed is that the Pantoprazole may lower how much of the Aspirin that is absorbed. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly inclu...
