My husband takes the Hydrocodone/Apap 5-500MG Tablet by Mallinckrodt. When we went to a different drug store, they gave us Hydrocodone/Apap 10-325. I have, however, found one marked IP 144, a brown, caplet, that contains 200mgs of Ibuprofen, a generic or store brand for Advil or Motrin. Please post back and let me know if this matches the tablet in question, or provide whatever additional information you can. In the meantime, I'll keep looking.

I was given HYDROCODONE-APAP 7.5-500 tabs today.I've read they are used for sleep, however I don't feel that effect. I usually take Ambien or Seraquil for sleep. OK to combine?? ## Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen (APAP) is a narcotic pain medication, generic for Vicodin. They are not generally used for sleep, however, one of the side effects can be drowsiness. Due to the effects of sedation and circulatory depression, the medications you asked about should not be combined without your doctor's approval and supervision of your condition. Have you spoken to them about this?
