can i take cyclobenzapr even if im allergic to aspirin? ## Cyclobenzaprine is a muscle relaxant and does not contain and is completely unrelated to Aspirin, so you shouldn't have a problem. Is that the only medication you are allergic to? It can cause some side effects, such as: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and headache. You can learn more about it here:

I'm taking a medical transcription course and I'm having trouble hearing a word. 8 mg isn't a common dose for most drugs, so I'm hoping someone can offer some suggestions. The word in question seems to end in did but sounds like it begins with a C or K possibly. My first thought was Dilaudid, and the medication could be for pain as it's for a post bone marrow transplant, but it really just doesn't sound like the speaker is saying that at all. ## I am sorry, I am really not finding anything else that has that dosage and ends with did. Dialudid does have an 8mg dosage, as well as several other medications, like Atacand for blood pressure. Does anyone else have any ideas?

I have been on oxcotin 60's for about two years. Shoulder injury that can't be fixed by surgery. Bone issue not tissue. I am in alot of pain! Now with the new coating that they have put on them, it takes over an hour for them to work and they don't work as long! Is there anyone out there that knows of something else I can be prescribed. I have serious liver disease, so it can't have tylenol in it. Help please. ## There have been many complaints about the new Oxycontin formulation, both in regards to it not being as effective as well as people experiencing odd side effects. It is not just a new coating, though, these new tablets contain a special polymer that turns the medication into a gummy goo if someone tries to crush or dissolve it, with the intention of it retaining...

i have weak leg muscles after surgery , can i use mucodal to control my leg pain ## Muscodol contains Acetaminophen, which you may know better as Paracetamol. It is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory used to treat pain and swelling, however, it is not a powerful pain reliever. Therefore its effectiveness for you can depend on how bad your pain is and you also didn't mention if you were on any other medications, as it can have bad reactions when mixed with some of them. It is also very important to know that when taking this, you cannot exceed 4,000mmgs in a day, as more than that in 24 hours is toxic and can cause severe organ damage or death. What has your doctor suggested for the pain?

Is this brand of Oxycontin 80 mg ER going to stay on the market as an Ethex generic form? ## There is currently no generic Oxycontin available and there will not be for the foreseeable future. They did away with the generic several years ago to help prevent abuse and diversion, so you can only get the name brand from Purdue Pharma and all of that is being switched to the new Oxycontin OP. There are generics available of the regular release and the immediate release formulations and Ethex does make those, but no generic of the time released. Do you have any other questions?

is it dangerous to take with hydrocodone7.5/acetaminophen500mg ## There are no interactions listed, however, since the Cholecalciferol is a from of Vitamin D3, it has not been as intensely studied as a regular drug would be, so you should check with your doctor or pharmacist to be certain. expired in 2003 ## Oxycodone does not get dangerous after its expiration, however, it can lose effectiveness and not work as well. Since it's been 7 years, I am betting that what you have is probably not going to work to treat pain after all this time. In many cases, when someone uses an expired medication, they end up taking more and more of it, to try to get the same level of effectiveness and this is not a safe practice. The smartest thing to do would be to safely dispose of the tablets. Do you have any questions?

i am worried about taking this pill ## That is understandable, since there can be side effects when you use any medication. This one, in particular, contains the narcotic pain reliever Hydrocodone, couple with Acetaminophen. Common side effects that you may experience can include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. If you use it as prescribed, the chances of having any problems is very small, most people use it quite successfully, without any serious issues. So you know what to watch for, in case you do run into a problem with it, signs of a serious reaction can include: erratic heartbeat, trouble breathing, swelling of lips or throat and itchy skin rash. More information: Eptoin contains the active ingredient Phenytoin, commonly used to treat epilepsy. Side effects can inc...
