I think the 100 mg is a grayish color with 100 mg on one side and a TP inside a square on the other; I think the 10 mg morphine pill is a light blue color with pms on one side and scored on the other ## Since Morphine is available as a generic, the way it looks and the markings it has on the tablets is going to vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. That said, the one marked TP 100 is NOT a Morphine tablet, nor any type of narcotic. It contains 100mgs of Topirimate, an anticonvulsant medication. It is made by Apotex, they have a similar pill on the Canadian market that is yellow and includes their APO logo on one side of it. The tablet you have marked PMS is also NOT Morphine or any type of narcotic. It contains 40mgs of Propranolol, which is most commonly used to help lower blood pres...

I found two of these inside a bottle of migraine pain-reliever (250 mg acetaminophen, 250 mg aspirin, 65 mg caffeine) in a bottle produced by Premier Value - I think I bought it at Safeway food store. How/should I report this? ## Is the marking possibly GG 226? If so, then they are prescription tablets that contain 20mgs of Lovastatin, used to help lower cholesterol. Many companies make both generic products that are available over the counter, as well as some prescription medications, so there may have been a mix-up at the factory. However, as you know, this could be a dangerous mix-up if that is, indeed, what these pills are. You should call whatever company made the tablets, there should be contact information on the packaging, as well as the FDA to report it, since this can be a ser...

I am knowledgeable about all the different brands of Oxycodone. I broke my neck in a car accident in October 2009 and been going back and forth to pain management doctors. ## Are you referring to brands, formulations or manufacturers? There are 3 brand name for Oxycodone, by itself, on the U.S. market and each represents a different formulation. There is Oxycontin, which is a 12-hour time released formulation, Roxicodone, which is a regular release formulation and OxyIR, which is an instant release formulation. Of those, the Roxicodone and OxyIR are both available as generics and those are made by many different manufacturers. Then, there are the combinations that are available. Percocet is a regular release formuation that contains Oxycodone and Acetaminophen, it is also available as a...

OC ONE SIDE OTHER 80 GREEN ROUND PILL ## I can't post a picture for you, due to copyright reasons, however, I can confirm that a pill meeting this description, with those markings is an 80mg Oxycontin tablet. This is the original Oxycontin product. Purdue has recently changed the Oxycontin formulation, to help prevent abuse and the new pills have an OP on them and they have discontinued manufacture of ones with the OC on them. Oxycontin is a narcotic pain reliever, so common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. Read more: Are there any questions or comments?

I found some blue capsules filled with white, crystal/gritty powder. I tasted it and it is bitter and kinda numbing. It is not water soluble and it has no odor. I snorted half of it and it burned like hell but later I could tell it was relaxer of some kind. It felt like morphine or like that. I'm thinking the capsule has nothing to do with the 'stuff' inside of it and it was just wrapped up like a nice little package for easy transport:) Anyway any help would be appreciated! ## Are there any markings on the capsule? I am sorry, but without markings, it is going to be difficult to narrow down what these contain. Your information really doesn't tell us enough to give a positive identification, that could describe a lot of different medications. It could be anything from a ...

I found a pill behind the seat of one of my employee's work trucks. It's a yellowish capsule with a big G on it and the numbers 5027. Should I be concerned? ## This G 5027 pill contains 300mgs of Gabapentin (NDC 59762-5027), which is used in the treatment of persisting pain, shingles; pain; anxiety; peripheral neuropathy; periodic limb movement disorder (and more), and belongs to the drug class gamma-aminobutyric acid analogs. Inactive Ingredients: - Lactose - Starch, Corn - Talc - Gelatin - Titanium Dioxide - Ferric Oxide Yellow - Fd&c Blue No. 2 It is possible your employee is abusing this. However I think its more likely he or she is prescribed it, but that's just a guess. ## I'm confused as to why you think it's okay to ask random people you don't know a...

Can Oxycodone be a white round pill with no markings on one side and a line through the middle of the pill on the other side????? ## I have been taking oxycodone for over 10 years and I never seen one like that. ## yea i was just prescribed oxy for a broken bone in a skiing accident and it looks just like that ## If you received it in the U.S. and it has no markings, then it IS NOT a legal FDA approved Oxycodone. The FDA requires that all prescription medications in the U.S. have unique markings on the pills so they can be identified according to drug, dosage and manufacturer. ## They could be from Holland or another country. Did you buy them online? ## It has to be labeled with some sort of number. Is this small pill stat says oc 80 an oxycontin???? no thats asprin!!!!! think b4 u ask....

i just got 5mg oxycodens. e to have oxicontin. cani still break them dwn/ ## Why are you breaking them down? It is not safe to break down any tablet and snort or inject it. Tablets contain fillers, not all of which are meant to be broken down by the body. Many are just expelled in our normal waste. If you snort or inject them, you are inserting these substances directly into your body and risking blockages. ## yes. pxy codone is all the same you are able to break them im prescrbed one and a half a day and was told to break it in half

I recently switched pharmacies. Previously, I was taking 5mg IR oxycodone with the boxed M on one side and the 0552 on the scored side. With the new pharmacy, I have the same prescription, only the pills have a stylized V on one side and 4810 on the scored side. For some reason, I don't seem to get the same relief with the new pills. Is this just in my head? It seems to me that 5mg of oxycodone is 5mg of oxycodone, and it doesn't much matter what the inert filler is and who packed it together. Does anyone know if there is any difference depending on the manufacturer? ## Yes, there can be a difference. The FDA does permit there to be a different between the name brand and a generic up to as much as plus or minus 20% of the active ingredient. They consider this an acceptable thera...

Hello, I have a white round tabelt, scored on one side and on the other side the imprint PERCOCET around the top. It is a bit thinner than a regular TEC percocet. I have a feeling these might be fake, has anyone ever seen the work Percocet imprinted on a percocet pill? ## Yes, there are some with the word PERCOCET imprint on them. The one that is white and round has PERCOCET in an arc on the top of the pill, above a score mark on one side and the word DuPont on the opposite side of the tablet. It contains 5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen and is one of the name brand tablets. Are there any questions or comments?

i have been on oxycontin for about 7 yrs. and these new op's are not the same .i wonder if anyone else has been really depressed.since the new version ops. been on 3 months..they are terrible for pain control..i dont even want to wake up anymore. ## There have been many complaints that they don't work as well and cause odd side effects, in this new formulation, even though Purdue claims they will work the same. I am very sorry to read of what you are going through. The only thing I can really suggest is reporting your problem to both Purdue and the FDA at the following numbers: Purdue Pharma number for drug safety/medication issues: 888.726.7535 FDA MedWatch number: 800-332-1088 Are there any questions or comments?
