I found a pill behind the seat of one of my employee's work trucks. It's a yellowish capsule with a big G on it and the numbers 5027. Should I be concerned?
This G 5027 pill contains 300mgs of Gabapentin (NDC 59762-5027), which is used in the treatment of persisting pain, shingles; pain; anxiety; peripheral neuropathy; periodic limb movement disorder (and more), and belongs to the drug class gamma-aminobutyric acid analogs.
It is possible your employee is abusing this. However I think its more likely he or she is prescribed it, but that's just a guess.

I'm confused as to why you think it's okay to ask random people you don't know about your employees private life. Those medications are rarely found outside a pharmacy which means they were probably prescribed. And if he/she does labor at their employment it's probably why they are needed. Ask him/her about it. Then again if they are doing their job and don't seem to have an issue it's illegal to question his/her personal life and I've seen this incident before. You will get sued for a number of reasons. And to the person who responded you have no clue if this person is addicted or not. Mind your own business and stop assuming stuff because you sound stupid.
