Is the marking possibly PA 917?

If so, this tablet is manufactured by Pliva and they it as containing 20mgs of Torsemide, which is a diuretic that is used to treat high blood pressure, edema, and heart failure.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, hypotension, and increased urination.

Is this what your pill looks like? Could it be "917" instead of "977"?

PA 917 Torsemide 20mg

If so, then Verwon's message is correct, it's Torsemide 20mg (NDC 50111-917).
