Actually Turkey I just read a bunch of articles about Sandoz and Purdue Pharma, Sandoz is being allowed in Australia only to distribute their brand of generic oxycontin. It's blocked so far in every other country. A US judge is protecting Purdue's patent, which those of us who take it know the OP formulation as (Oxy Poison). Of course a judge is protecting a crappy patent and making Purdue Pharma rich! From what I read this patent is good till 2023, which in itself is insane. These aren't tamper proof as they still lie about that! I'm not going to tell people here how to get 95% of the active ingredient out. It just takes about 20 minutes instead of instantly like before, in my book that's not tamper proof and the Purdue Pharma lie is still alive. The people who take it are the victims as usual. Only in America is a drug addict given higher status than someone suffering. Maybe we should all move to Australia? Purdue Pharma made $2.8 billion in 2011 in oxycontin sales, so yes they'll protect their crappy patent to the death and the American government will protect them because of generous campaign contributions to both parties! Welcome to America fellow chronic pain sufferers! The prices Australians are paying for these Sandoz generics show why Purdue Pharma is terrified, it's a crime in itself how much we pay for brand name oxycontin!

Yeah I get them from chemist warehouse... I've mentioned the Sandoz brand in previous posts... The sandoz branded Oxys have a oily residue that protects the time realise hiden inside the powder. If you peel and crush between some paper and draw heat over it (without burning the paper) you will see what I'm talking about. There still good and much better than the OPs but not as long lasting as the original OCs

If u can find a local pharmacy from 8-5 u will be in good shape! I know exactly what you're talking about Walgreens are everywhere but Which one has them? Or enough so u don't loose the rest of your prescription!

Pharmacy in a hospital will have them as well but not as easy as a regular pharmacy not attached too anything just a free standing building by its self local pharmacy If u can find one in your town

I get the oxycodone Sandoz 80mg modified release tablets and have been getting them for quite some time now since last year when they came out here in aus as they didn't take to long to come out in Australia after the horrible OxyContin reformulated oxy/op came out my pharmacist orders in 112 x 80mg oxycodone Sandoz brand for me and 20mg oxynorm instant release each month! They are the original formula and not reformulated at all they are good I reckon just as good as the old oc but them oxy op were horrible things hated em so much only in Australia not the U.S. Or anything sorry guys I am sure you can get the original formula in Canada but...

trip james,i think i love you.my thoughts exactly.
i am on my 4th day of stopping subutex,bc i was deteriorating with each day.my dr told me to take 3 20mg of purdue poison and 4 oxycodone 15s a day,to ease wd .i am a wimp, being a virgin, to this kind of withdrawal.talk about subs,it makes it easy for hospital staff not to deal with our wd,but it's harder to get off of,and does a lot of damage."just stay on it 'til u die"we're ginny pigs.First time i was holding a wet op and got that ball of gummy stuff rolled up.i guess i should eat that,now???

I've been on pain meds for 13 years and have had over 30 operations on my legs. I've lived in Vegas, Hawaii, Cali and Ut. I've found that it's best to stick with a small local Pharmcy. Get to know them and tell them you will be filling there each month. They will keep your supply and no more driving around for hours looking to find them.

I hope that you made a typo because someone who had open heart SURGERY certainly would know how to spell it. Also they have IV OXY for severe CANCER patients which pisses on any pill.

My pharmacist just told me here in Oklahoma they now have a generic brand for the Oxycontin 80mg's. Wish he would have told me before I filled them. I currently get the OP ones. Are the new generic ones the old OC's? Just curious since the OP'S took Mr some time getting used to them because they take longer to work (get short term as well but noticed a difference between the two). I take them like I'm supposed to (orally, I know some people who abuse this drug were taking it a different way which is why they came out with the OP). Anyone in the US had the new Oxycontin that I guess was recently released?

Hey JJ sorry to disappoint you, but the new Sandoz generic Oxycontin is made by Perdue Pharmaceutical for Sandoz. This new generic still has the OP on one side of the pill and is the exact same crap ingredients as the brand name. I got this generic about a month ago and it still caused GI issues, so I called Sandoz. That's when the rep told me that Perdue Pharmaceutical was making this generic for Sandoz and it was the exact same ingredients.

I just now read your post from February and yes, I also get the pain in ruq, I actually had my gallbladder removed with the Doctor thinking this would relieve my pain. Well no it did not do it is obviously the medicine after they changed the formulation, as I have been on medicine for many years and when they changed it is when this started happening to me.

Hello, I was recently put back on the OxycontinER 80mg after 9 months of torture having to just take OxyIR 240mg daily. It took that long to get Medicaid (obamafailcare) to cover it 2x daily. And this pill does not last 12hr, maybe 6-7 hrs max. I was taking the 60mg x3 daily for over 3 yrs, until my insurance skyrocketed and had to go on state assisted health insurance. They either need to go back to the drawing board with this "intact" pill pouch so that it releases over 12hr, or stop the false marketing saying the pill works for 12hrs. It does not. I also don't think all of the medicine is being released out of the pill's bladder as I have seen the pill in my stole with medcine still in the pill

I can prove what I'm telling now. I had over 8 Maj, Back Surgerys, and 7 not so Maj, the longest one was 14 hours long in N,Y. I had meaning doctors in the last 24 years and some dr. had me on meds that put me out of my mind when on them. and I been with out pain meds at one time for a year, that was one of my mostly darkest days, not because I did any wrong doing! I have an upstanding History with Meds I've taken and On Now. Since I've been taken OXYCONTIN 80s N 40s OC before the Ops I was able to be my self somewhat and not High or in a drug state of mind like other meds I was Prescriped in the past... Now with the op ist ONLY HALF of the OC can Do for MY CHRONIC PAIN I'm IN 24/7, my dr. gives drug panels to all that get Pain Meds. I never FAIL a Drug panel, or Do I DRINK ALCOHOL, I wish they come back with the OC OxyContin for people who truly need them.. ARE THEY OUT NOW OXYCONTIN OC? Like it's posted that they are back oc.

I get my Schedule 2's from Cvs thru Caremark. When I spoke to the Carenark rep about being switched from OxyIR back to OxycontinER, they said that a generic oxycontin has been available for sometime! Whether Sandoz and Par's 80mg Oxycontin tablet are made by Perdue and just having them packaged with the Sandoz/ Par brand name, I'm not sure. They definitely arent as 'fat' of a tablet, like the good name brand 80mg OP. They arent as effective either, I barely notice the onset of these new OP 80mg. They make me drowsy, something I never felt from the name brand Perdue OP.
