The Sandoz oxycodone cr are not made buy Purdue whatsoever, they do not have op 80 on them at all ??? they are based on the old OxyContin formula. I have been taking them since they came out in Australia after the brand name oxy got reformulated and went to s***! Purdue has nothing to do with them. Purdue/mundipharma took Sandoz to court to try and stop them from making generics with the old formula but they lost and we have the good OxyCodone. It has been available for along time now. I have boxes of the 80mg OxyCodone Sandoz brand with me now and I can assure you that you are wrong. I'll try and post pics of the boxes and pills too.

Oxy80 if you were in America you would know what I've said is true... What you're getting in Australia is not what we're getting in America. Maybe you should make a long distance call to America to Sandoz based in America and find out the truth. My information comes directly from both Sandoz and Purdue Pharmaceutical Representatives that I have personally talked to. Plus I have taken the American version of Sandoz 80mg Oxycontin and it has an OP on one side of the pill. That's why I contacted Sandoz and then they directed me to a Purdue Pharmaceutical representative because Purdue Pharmaceutical is making the Sandoz generic in America for Sandoz and it is the exact same delivery mechanism as the Purdue brand name. I highly doubt any of these representatives from either pharmaceutical company are lying and are much more knowledgeable than you or I about their own medications.
What you're getting in Australia from Sandoz is not what we're getting in America from Sandoz and that is a fact!

Yes, I too am in Australia and am on oxycodone sandoz 80 mg twice a day and oxynorm 20 caps for breakthrough pain or endone 3x day,
I didn't think the chewy op new formula was any good at all, I don't think my stomach was breaking it down properly or something?
Sandoz looks just the same lime green as the original OC. Just no print on either side and I find them much just as good as the original old crunchy OC. In my opinion for the past 2 years prescribed OC original, OP revised formular, and generic Oxycodone Hcl sandoz, only the OP new chewy formula didn't work as well. But for some reason 2x40mg OC seems for me a lot more effective than 1x80mg ??
Also I find 4x endone (5mg fast release Ocycodone Hcl) a lot more effective than 1x20mg Oxynorm cap??

I just finished 18 years of opioid abuse which all started in 97 with oc80s...heck..they had oc160s too back then. Now I am clean and sober thanks only to suboxone strips and know that the op reformulation saved me. To the guy posting about subutex or suboxone saying doc is weaning you off with oxycodone and you're tempted to do that..dont! Its wasting your time. Give yourself a break. I tried to do what my doc said 4 times and relapsed cuz it wasnt right: wait 12 hrs since last opioid intake, then take half a strip every 8 hrs (3 times a day). After much agony (wait more than 12 hrs to avoid precipitated wd) I figured out taking 20 hrs off and then taking whole strip...wait an hr to see if that worked...if not take another half strip (I took another whole...so 4 times what i was prescribed). I then took as prescribed a half strip 3 times a day...every 6 to 8 hrs or so. This stuff builds up and can stay in brain clogging opioid receptors for 3 days easily...even 5 days. I did 3 times a half strip for 3 days...then rapidly tapered down before id get too hooked. I am now clean 23 days and take a quarter strip every 2 days and have been doing that intake amount for 6 days [3 x qtr strip). You can last a week and not even consume a whole strip. You can take a third of a strip every time you feel withdrawal...wait an hr if you stil feel s***ty repeat. Oh...and the first cpl days you should do what i didnt....get immodium for diarrhea and over counter sleep meds cuz you wont sleep. I go to aa and na every day and only talk to sober and spiritually sound ppl. I recommend you give yourselves a break if you're abusing pills or doing opioids for no good reason. Dont let rock bottom make you quit...let it be this post from a 32 yr old who started when he was 14. I wasted my life. But in the 3 weeks clean i got the love of family back...great apartment....my daughter...new nob and new job offers and felllowship of clean and sober men from AA...and NA (but do aa....even if you're an addict...trust me).

I live in southeast ky. Doctors here are more worried about the DEA than they are the patients well being. I don't care what anyone says; if the doctors can not help me manage my pain, i'll help myself by any means necessary. I take Roxicodone 30 mg each day. When I can't take my recommended dosage, I take 3 Suboxone strips to kill the withdrawals.

I am so inspired from u. I've been on norco and vicodin for over close to 7 years. Things really didn't get bad til this past summer of 2014. I have true pain. But also a lot of stress. It seemed as I took for pain it helped with stress. So here I am. I need help in getting off I have relapse twice nut no luck. PLEASE I would love for us to keep in contact.

I've taken about 10 OC 80s and 10 OC 40s in last 6 months. If you are prescribed them you have to go to Walgreens only tell them you want the generic brand, which is the original OC.

Chilly chill: im glad to hear that ive inspired ppl. Update: in a couple days i am approaching 3 months without opioids and now also stopped pot and alcohol. I dont even look back (at opioids but miss alc. and marijuana alot.) I was able to kick suboxone before my 30 day mark finally tapering to 1/6 of a strip every 3 days. When you've reached ten days without any suboxone you know you did it (did last sub at day 20.) The stuff can easily stay in brain 6 to 10 days it turns out. You will have some insomnia for about 2 months it turns out (may just have been my drama and lack of peace of mind...but who knows. Over the counter melatonin will do the job). Id recommend waiting 20 hrs since last using opioids before taking suboxone. Strips work 1.5 times better than the pills. Find a doctor who prescribes subs and tell them the truth but know they may put iv patients on methadone (dont know why but they treat them differently)...but tell doc honestly how long and how much you've been doing. Even if u have to get $20 img subs off the street or a $300 script without insurance as i did...u will save thousands very fast and its worth it.

How much actual pain medication do you get from an 80mg oxycotin.It feels like after 3-4 hours the medication had worn off.

Hey thanks for your post. I too started in 92 with opiates, but currently im attempting to detox off of Suboxone. Im on day 5 today and am miserable. Silly me thinking it'd be the worst would be over in 3 days. Your post made me realize I don't have to suffer, having plenty on standby. That taking a half of a half on day 5 is an achievement. I didn't realize Suboxone stays in your receptors longer. I found kicking methadone even was easier than this! But thanks brother, and congratulations on your clean time and crawling out of the hole. Im 40 and started when I was 21. You were very young at 14. Bless you bro...

Thank you phoenix. Today is day 120 off the s***. Its a huge accomplishment just tapering. The docs who prescribe suboxone to you are fine with you being on it for a year. But thats completely up to you. Im 33...its never too late. Im proud of you and remember to nix all the people who dont have your back...make sure you dont have debt with anyone in the game and get new or more hobbies. Hate to be that guy...but exercising helps. If u can go down to nothing in 20 days and u feel normal again after 30 days since first taking subs you will feel great. If u dont wanna stick to a regimen...just take as needed and at this point wait 2...even 3 days if you can before taking more (very little...then wait i hours before you tale more). The torture is worth it. Methadone still allows you to be drug seeking. Suboxone has cured an 18 yr addiction and i will never look back. Getting over the flu as i type and it reminds me of withdrawal and is a huge reminder.

They look like thin orange colored rectangles in a blue plastic wrapper. As thin as paper and about and inch long and half an inch wide. The suboxone sublingual films are best cuz cant be tampered with and can easily be segmentized and are 1.5 times stronger than pills (which crumble)
