That's actually meant to be an oriental C, it is logo used by Alvogen and yes, they list them as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen in a regular release formulation, so they can be cut or broken, if your doctor approves. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

Was given to me at pharmacy...But I can't find them any where. ## Hi Shonta, There is a white round tablet imprinted with R P 30, that's identified as a 30mg Oxycodone hydrochloride pill. However I haven't seen an actual photograph and can only base this off of a description from Rhodes Pharmaceuticals (hence the R P). That said, these descriptions are somewhat vague and do not mention whether or not there is a score line. Although from what I'm finding, no other pill description matches yours as closely as this one does. So I'd be willing to bet that Oxycodone is what it is. On another note, Doesn't a legitimate pharmacy put labels on their Rx containers? Something also sounds weird about them filling a prescription for just 1 pill? ## I take OXYCODONE 30mg, alw...
White oblong pill one line on one side supposed to be generic percocets ## Hello, Sandra! How are you? If it has no markings on it, then it is most likely an over the counter product of some type, although there is a small chance that it could be a foreign pill. However, all legal U.S. prescription medications are required by law to have markings on them to enable their identification, in case of emergency. Such markings enable law enforcement or medical personnel to discover what a pill contains, what the dosage is and who manufactured it. The U.S. FDA classifies Oxycodone as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I am currently taking oxycodone hcl ir 10mg 3 times a day as prescribed by my dr for 4 herniated disks with degeneration in my neck. I have very severe chronic pain in my neck, shoulder, and arm from this. The pills do help with the pain, but only last about 3 hours. which still leaves me in pain a lot of the day. Should I just inform my dr of this, or should I request a certain amount a day? I have been taking this amount for about 5 months now. I am not looking for a stronger pill, just more frequency of taking them. I do not have insurance, and can not afford extended release pills, as they are about 6-8 times the amount of money. I take my pills as prescribed, and do not abuse them. ## Hello, Bob! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're in pain. It would be best to inform yo...

Hi, I've read these forums for years now and have never posted anything myself but I am in a panic. I have been taking 30 milligram oxycodone 4 times a day for 5 years. I had two major back surgery is and I'm not eligible for a third one due to scar tissue at the surgical site. Every month I swear to myself up and down that I will never run out of these pills again and every month I run out. Well this month it's been the worst I have been taking 180 milligrams that's 6 pills a day for the last 3 or 4 days my prescription runs out on the 24th of this month and I have 12 pills left. My main question is can I start weaning off of it from 180 milligrams down to one pill a day which is 30 milligrams or is that just too drastic of a cut. Also I'm seeing my doctor on Friday...

This medications contains the active ingredient Oxycodone and you'd need 10.67mgs of ...
What's the difference between the blue 3omg from the white pill? ## White has more acetaminophen, also known as Tylenol. There's more powder and this is why blues are preferred. ## Hello, Annie! How are you? This is a generic medication, so it is normal for it to be manufactured by several companies, because it creates market competition to try to keep prices down. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation and dry mouth. What are the markings on both tablets?

is my pain relief being diminished unknown to me? Thanks ## Hello, Stew! How are you? How long have you been taking the same dose? My husband got a refill of his oxycodone/apap from the VA that has 4839 over a line and a "v" in script under the line. They usually have 512 on one side and the line on the other side. We are concerned about the difference. He just got his new refill and it is 512 again. So,I had him start taking those until we find out what he has been taking. Help!! ## Hello, Nancy! How are you and your husband? The tablets with the 4839 V marking are manufactured by Vintage Pharmaceuticals and they list them as containing 5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is that the correct dosage?
Is it possible that the same medicine Oxycodone 30mg, made by two different manufacturers, different codes, are both legitimate? One is darker than the other. Or should they be the same shade? ## Since it is a generic, yes, that is possible. Sometimes, even ones made by the same company with the same codes will have a slight variance in color shading. What are the markings on them? If you post back with this information, I can double check for you. ## Different manufacturers different color, shape or in print.
