I take 60 mgs of oxydone 2x day..dr recently added 10 mg opana er...omg...he sd its stronger...it will help you. ..bull sh#@! Its like candy only no happy ending....it doesn't even take away withdrawals! What should i do!???? ## No, 10mgs of Opana is only equivalent to 20mgs of Oxycodone, so it is not stronger in this dosage. You'd need 30mgs of it to be equivalent to each 60mgs of Oxycodone that you were taking. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Have you informed your doctor? You may need the dosage adjusted.

Walgreens as of last week is NOT taking ANY kind of discount card or their own discount card to cover this medication. It went from $107.00 to 168.00$. What the heck is going on. Its either they are telling everyone how much you can be perscribed or killing us with the prices. I couldn't get my ER medicine due to the increase!!!! Its never ending.I know they got in trouble in Fla. Owing 80 million dollars in fines, so we are now paying for their mistakes, again!!!!! ## Im talking about Oxycodone 30mgs IR ## Hello, Sunny! How are you? I'm very sorry that you were unable to afford your medication. Did you try any other pharmacies? None of them are obligated to accept any of the discount cards, though it would certainly help if they were. Learn more Oxycodone details here. What sta...

My doctor changed me to 20 mg oxycodone. It was to strong. Making me sleepy and unable to maintain ADL. ## Hello, Angelmay! How are you? There is a 15mg extended release that is in between those doses, so you may experience better results with it. It's something you could ask your doctor about trying. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Does anyone else have any ideas or advice to offer?

Can split oxycodone10/325 that doesn't have a line on it. ## Hello, Honey! How are you? Yes, you can do that, as long as your doctor approves, since it is a regular release formulation. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

Can you tell me is there an over the counter medication that looks like oxycodone 30 milligram round blue pill. ## @Lady D, Unless you have an amazing counterfeit, to my knowledge there are no other pills on the market that not only look-a-like, but also carry the same imprint. Any medical professional or someone well aware of what they're taking isn't going to be fooled by an impostor like that. So may I ask what your motives or incentives are for seeking an alternative substitute? I wish you the best of luck in your search, but just hope you're not hurting anyone else in the process if you know what I mean. ## I often u my hormone pills to pass for oxy 30s at my dr's pill count .. It's estradiol 1mg .. Upon closer looking of corse the # an imprint Wld not match up ...

My doctors office that was giving me oxycocodone 30mg just closed his office. I live in the Tulsa, Ok area. I am having a hard time finding a doctor that will prescribe them for me. I have degenerative disc disease the Dr.'s I have seen have wrote me perscriptions for oxycotine and even one for opana. But my insurance will not cover them because they are long acting. Please help if you know any doctor I am in so much pain. ## Go see Dr. Adam Wallace at pain management of Tulsa. He listens and will help you. Good luck. ## Hi there, My doctor is retiring. I need a doctor that will prescribe percocet in Toronto. I have been on them for years, they ease the pain and I am able to function, I have no hidden agenda. How do I find a doctor? ## Thank you helper I appreciate the information.

I am a father of two young children. I am the sole provider for our family. My wife is a stay at home mom. For the past ten years I have been on oxycodone 30mg due to back surgery. When I switched to another pain management they cut my prescription down and also issued me methadone 10 mg. I lost my doctor recently. I have had to do what is necessary to keep my job or my family would be in real trouble. As we all know the withdrawals are horrible. I have been taking subs and benzos for the past month now. I am down to a quarter a day of the sub. I take 2mg of xanax a day. I really want to stop this vicious cycle of pills. I am really depressed, irritable and impatient. My brain feels like it has been damaged by taking all this medication. I find myself sometimes not being able to spit ou...

Question 1: I had been going to the SAME Dr. for OVER 14 years. I NEVER ONCE failed a drug test as long as I have been going to him. He retired a few months ago and a different Dr. took his place. The new Dr. told me he WILL give me the SAME medications and treatments that my old Dr. was giving me, BUT I HAVE to pass a drug test first. I said FINE WITH ME. The new Dr. gave me my drug test, did the test right infront of me, once the results came up, he told me my test is FINE, here are my pills, and he gave me the injections. He told me to schedule an appt to come back the following month as I have been doing with my former doctor. 5 days BEFORE my NEXT appt, I received a letter from them telling me I am NOT permitted to come back, I FAILED a drug test and tested positive for heroin, coc...

I have a doc appointment tomorrow at 3:20 if i when do I need to take my only oxycodone 15 mg to make sure it's in my urine test haven't had any in a few weeks ## Why haven't you been taking it as prescribed? You can take it a few hours before your appointment, but your likely to still run into the problem of your levels being off. Many doctors check for the levels of the medication, rather than just the presence of it, to make sure you are taking it as prescribed, rather than selling your medication. How did the test turn out? ## endocet does not show up in a drug urine test unless spec test for oxy. i have taken 4 a day for 4 years and show neg in urine test. this has happen to many cause test for opidet why does the manufactor not clear up this problem? ## If I took 10mg ...

I am taking my Oxycodone and find it makes me thirsty. I've also had recent swelling in my ankles and feet. I was thinking about taking water pills to help the swelling. Is this a bad idea? I also live in the Vegas heat. Thanks ## Hello, Romi! How are you? Those can be normal side effects of this medication, according to FDA reports. You may also experience nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and constipation. As to the water pill, it depends which one. There are several on the market. It would be best to consult your doctor, before taking one to be safe. Is there anything else I can help with?

This is A Scam is not PERCOCET ## Who told you it was Percocet? This is actually just an over the counter medication that's manufactured by Time-Cap Labs, which they list as containing 250mgs of Acetaminophen, 250mgs of Aspiring and 65mgs of Caffeine, it is most commonly used to treat migraines. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, insomnia, nervousness and stomach irritation.

got rx filled oxycodone 10-325 made by alvogen but pill is yellow oval and has 3610 on one side and v on the other they don't work HELP ## These tablets are manufactured by Vintage Pharmaceuticals and they list them as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Are they not helping your pain, at all? ## I am having the same problem. I had the 7.5/325 and they seemed stronger than the 10/325. ## Tjust yellow oval pill that says V 3610 is not Oxy, it's hydrocodone

I have been taking percocets 10/325 for over a year now,I have had to quit my job of over 19 years due to the back pain and headaches etc.My question is can I get any help with the cost as I have no income and Medicaid will only pay for 6 scripts per month and they are wanting to add more scripts now and I cannot afford it.Please help! ## Hello, Billy! How are you? I'm sorry that you're in so much pain. Unfortunately, there aren't many means of additional help for those that have some form of insurance, including Medicaid. The only thing that might help is a prescription discount card or program. There is one on each page of this site, or when you submit a post you can sign up for it, you just print it and take it to your pharmacy to save money on medications. Alternatively,...

I am on 30mg Roxycotin (oxycodone) 180 tablets per month. I have insurance, however, cannot find a pharmacy that has supplies of prescription (I hear many people are having this issue recently). My doctor might prescribe an alternative. I am very afraid of the alternative due to not understanding how medications translate. I fear it not being adequate for me to function and go to work. What is a viable alternative? Does anybody know. I am told dilaudid (I cannot spell the med.) But the doctor is saying 8mg. in the amount of 110 pills (as opposed to 30mg of oxycodone in the amount of 180 pills) that I am currently prescribed. It looks like a serious drop in the ammount and mg. of medication. I fear the worst. Anybody have any advice. It would be greatly appreciated. ## dear freind; the r...

wanting to know if anybody out there knows how long oxcycodone stays in urinr? ## There is really no hard and fast rule for this, it depends on dosage, type of medication (such as extended release), frequency of use, your own metabolism and etc. It can be anywhere from several days or longer. ## please help me is it possiple for 3 10mg percecet to stay in ure system for longer that 4 1/2 days?;...please if u no 4 sure pleze let me know..i got 2 days before my drug screen...actually only 1..helppppppppppp. ## how long does percocet 5 stay in your urine if you take 1 pill every 6 hours as prescribed by your doctor if you get a urine test at the end of thirty days ## I took 4 mg of dilaudid 2 nights in a row and had to drop a urine 13 hours after last dose. I am taking oxycodone rho 30 mg for severe back and leg and foot pain. I've been reading about rho and do not like what I am seeing. The pain clinic I go to changed the manufacturer a few months ago and I want to go to a different manufacturer. Do you think the clinic will honor a request to change? They are causing me to have breathing problems. Advice please. Thanks ## Hello, Edward! How are you? The prescribing doctor cannot dictate which generic you receive from your pharmacy. The only thing they can do, if necessary, is write the prescription as 'brand medically necessary', or whatever the equivalent is in your state. Even if the clinic has an in-house pharmacy, like my primary care doctor does, the doctor still doesn't control which generic they fill your prescript...

Have been managing pain w/ many treatments for almost 3yrs now & haven't ever had a problem filling my Rx's until this month. Cant work, cant spend great time w/ my teenage & busy kids.. Haven't had to withstand this kind of pain for many yrs now.. Was wondering what else is out?! What Meds compare to oxycodone 30mg And work as this med does... I haven't had any problems w/this med. I take it according to Dr& Have had successful management thus far..Now I CAN'T FIND IT& I do not want to drive all day long, since sitting is NOT AN OPTION. Sitting causes the most pain! ## No two meds are created equally, but if you're looking to find something with similar effects as oxycodone, it'll likely be another type of synthetic opiate/opioid. If I take two different pills, one that's marked 224 30mg and the other pill marked 14 (20mg) - [both I understand are oxycodone] - Does that equal 50mg? And is that okay? Side effects the same? I've been taking pain meds for 10 years. ## Yes, that would be the same as taking 50mgs and no, it is not too high of a dose, if you're opiate tolerant. Just be sure to see your doctor regularly, so they can monitor you for any problems and to only take it as prescribed. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
