I have been prescribed 10 milligram Oxycodone four times a day. I am 5'5 and weigh 148 pounds and I work 2 days a week serving food and am very active even though I am 64 year's old. I have only been taking 1/2 of a 10 milligram once a day, everyday. I went to my doctor a few days ago and one hour before I went I took one 10 milligram dose and was tested ten minutes after I arrived at the doctor's office. So, one hour and ten minutes after I took a 10 milligram they did a full urine test. I am wondering if my levels will be low in the urine test that was taken that day? In reality, I am only taking 5 milligrams a day and not the 40 milligrams a day that I am prescribed. Know that I do not abuse and have many left over. Why is Morphine showing up in my urine when i take Opana ER and Oxycodone IR? ## I want to know the same thing. I've taken subutex for a long time know for chronic pain, in my opinion it's been awesome. I just had surgery. My surgeon was very forthcoming about everything. My issue now is can I go back to subutex after my last dousing of oxycodone 20s and 20s timed released. I've done it before but opposite, like when I was on subutex I had taken oxycodone but im freaking myself out because of everything I'm reading... every one makes it seem completely different.... I have been on Oxycodone for the last bunch of years for a work related back injury.I had been receiving the 5 m.g/325 tecs,but last time they refilled my prescription,I was given a smaller APO on one side and 5 with a line underneath it than 325 under that on the other side.They are quite smaller than the Tecs,they don't feel like they are controlling my pain when needed,like the Tecs did.I live in Canada,I just feel like these are a placebo and there trying to get me off the Oxycodones.Are these pills real,I don't receive any relief. ## Have they not helped, at all? I need to know if I can cut my 15mg oxycodone pills in half? They are light green with 15 on one side and M in a box on the other side. The pills are scored, which makes me think that I can safely cut them in half. The only controlled release Oxycodone available, at this time, is the name brand Oxycontin, which used the OP logo on one side of the tablet. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. It also carries the risk of being habit forming. Are those the only markings on the tablet?

I'm 69 & suddenly suffering from Neuropathic pain in shoulders, hips, & lower back which radiates into extremities. Cause and effect or coincidence? this all started right after a Prevnar 13 shot. I am in FL where MAJOR tightening on Pain Meds is being implemented. Costco sources through Mallinckrodt & Interpharm. Walmart, Publix, Sams use Rhodes. Help me in Raleigh/Durham, NC....I am 31 years old, otherwise healthy male, with two slipped/herniated discs, low (L4, L5) Facet Degeneration, Chronic Back Pain, and multiple other issues with my low back. what are the side effects of drinking beer (too much) while taking oxycodone, can there be brain damage? ## It is a possibility, according to FDA reports, such a mix could also be fatal, since they both act as depressants of the central nervous system, which could result in lowered rates of respiration, and heart rate, any of which could suddenly drop too low and result in death. it is a capsule and it's purple and orange ## This is Droxia R or hydroxyurea. It is used to treat the pain of sickle cell anemia...a fatal disease. It is not a narcotic pain medication like you might think. It only works for pain for this specific disease. Do not ingest it unless you have sickle cell! ## Teva Pharmaceuticals lists this tablet as containing 500mgs of Hydroxyurea, it is most commonly used to treat some forms of cancer, such as chronic myeloid leukemia, and certain types of skin cancer. I take 5mg of oxycodone about once a day for a TKR, I don't normally mix drugs and alcohol but I was bored so I waited 16hrs before I had 3 mixed drinks, each mixed drink I had was in a tall glass with less then a 1/4 of hard liquor and a lot of ice and to the top with pop and it took me 5hrs to drink 3 drinks and now its been 5hrs sense my last drink so how long do I have to wait to take a 5mg of oxycodone and no I didn't get a buzz from the drinks and I'm still myself (normal). ## Brenda, It sounds like you already know the answers, you're just looking for permission to justify imbibing and ingesting a powerful narcotic opiate/opioid. I've been taking oxycodone 30's for quite sometime now, but a friend of mine came over and showed me a V 4812 almost turquoise in color and this particular pill was smaller than mine. Are the V 4812 smaller than the K 9's as far as tallest goes the V 4812's where half as tall. I've had almost everyone except the V's usually the others are same size round as tall just different numbers. Does anyone know the answer to this. I found three egg or oval shaped white pills marked u15 on one side, not scored, in my daughters room. I did a search and can not find anything similar online. I did find oblong white pill marked u15 and scored online which was the 5/325 oxycodone but this is more egg shaped and not scored but about the same size. ## Well that is oxycodone, (AKA Percocet) the letter and number is the brand marking.
