I've googled and searched message boards and haven't found anything that looks like this pill. It's small, round, kind of a Pepto bismol pink, and has only a triangle imprint. There is no scoring, letters, or numbers. It is a hard consistency. Does not break easily. Does anyone have any ideas what this may be? I took one 5mg/325 oxycodone every other day for a few months but stopped three weeks ago. I possibly have a hair test coming soon for a new job offer that I haven't accepted yet but would like to. Will it show up if I cut my hair short right before my test? Should I drag my feet and hope for the best? ## I should also note my hair is short already. 1 inch or so. I got a haircut last week. I recently was going to a pain clinic for my pain medication and was discharged because I had over the counter medicine in my system. I need to find a good doctor that will write pain madicine and wont discarge you over stupid stuff like taking over the counter medicine. ## I am very sorry that this happened to you. Can I put some of he drug into my sample directly? ## There is a good chance that it won't work, due to 2 factors. The first is that these tests also look for the metabolites of the drug, which only appear after is has been metabolized through your body. The second is because some of these tests look at the levels of it in your body. i have been on a pain regimen of oxycodone HCL 30mg 1-2 pills every4- 6 hrs after being electricuted at work. I have had nerve blocks, botox injections and a slew of other meds that did not work this is all that helps. Please help me so i can do things o=in life. I have to take a u.a. today for pain management Dr. If I take a 30mg. oxycodone 4hrs. before will it show up on the test? ## Yes, it will show up BUT remember that there are several types of tests, some will show the level of medication that you have and if you are supposed to be taking a certain amount daily but aren't they will be able to tell. I was wondering if anyone might help. I have been off my pain meds for 30 days now. I was taking about 320mg of oxycodone and 4-4mg Dilaudid a day. I quit cold turkey and havent had any meds in 30 days. It's been the worst month ever but believe it or not I am feeling much better. Im not having any more withdrawal symptoms. I am hurting very bad today in my neck where the problem is. I am wondering if I take a half or even a half of a half does anyone know if the withdrawal symptoms will come back. I’ve been prescribed Percocet and was told I could take Advil (I imagine any type of ibuprofen) or Alieve to help boost the pain relief. I was prescribed 120 pills on April 17th. The dosing guidelines say to take 1 pill every 6 hours. When should I run out of medicine? ## Generally when you get pain meds from Pain Management or any other doc really and it will be taken on a regular basis, they give you what they expect to last 30 days and if you take 1 pill every six hours that should last 30 days. Patients get confused when they receive pain meds that state take one or two every 4-6 hours as needed for pain and say get 60.
