From what I understand, because each pill is manufactured by a different company, not only is there going to be a slight variation of inactive ingredients (binders/fillers), but also if the medication is in generic form, it is permitted by the FDA to contain as much as 20% more or less of the actual active ingredient as well. For some people, these subtle differences are the equivalent of taking a completely different medication that may be absorbed and metabolized differently within your body (usually resulting in an increased or decreased potency). If it included another ingredient, you'd see two dosages listed, like 5/325mgs or 10/325mgs. But 10mg is the highest dosage available of the combination products. Warning, there are fake oxycodone 30mg going around. People are selling these on the street as a Roxy 30mg. They are completely fake. These are all around Florida, Georgia, South Carolina. Someone had the pill tested and they are taking vitamin supplements and putting them in a pill mold with the K9 stamp. The genuine K9 Oxycodone is blue. I can tell you with ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY the pink round small pill with NP imprinted on one side & 12 imprinted on the other it is generic Roxicodone 10 mg. I take them and they are highly addictive and if misused can be fatal. ## Hi Jeanie, After doing a bit of research, I do agree with you that a round pink pill marked with NP 12 is in fact a generic Oxycodone HCL 10 mg tablet. I have been taking oxycodone for several years and my doctor retired. Now I am having serious problems finding a doctor who will prescribe the same medication. I found plenty of pharmacy that has my pain meds but tell me they can not fill my script because they cant except any knew patients at this time. I don't think it's fare that a pharmacy, can save there pills for there regular patients, should be first come first served, if all pharmacy are telling me that, then how will I ever be a customer, to any pharmacy. Do they work the same? Is Oxaydo as good as the Percocet? Do they do the same thing? What is the highest dose they come in? I am not used to taking these, I just got them yesterday. ## Percocet contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone, but Oxaydo only contains the Oxycodone. i am a heavy marijuana smoker and I take 2-5 oxycodone a day for pain. I failed my test at the Dr for a positive that I have been taking it. I've been on opiates for years, and I just want to offer encouragement to people who may be going through withdrawals. If it's urgent I'm here. If you have withdrawals and need help and support and money issues, I've been there myself, and can understand how it is. Who is the best pain management doctor in the Beaumont area? We just moved from Austin, and after calling around, can't find a good one. For starters, they all tell you right off the bat they don't prescribe Oxycodone. What? Why reject a drug before you even know a patient's history or what kind of results they've had with it. Why does every pain doc in Beaumont have this asinine attitude, and what alternatives do they offer? (I am already on Fentanyl patches, with a spinal stimulator, and that does not control the pain). How long would the average person expect to get by taking 20mg Oxycodone 2x a day, before the body builds up a resistance and the MG has to be raised? I know lots of people are taking 60mg at a time doses of Oxycodone and I REALLY hope for that not to happen to me! So, how long can I expect to get by on 20mg 2x a day? I take 15 mg oxycodone but found strange pills in my bottle. they are green round pill with a line down the middle and an A above line with 214 below the line. It is blank on the other side. I am afraid to take these if it's not the right medicine. ## The pill you have found are 15 mg Roxicodone or Oxycodone for generic. This is the same medicine that you have been taking, hope this helped. ## Oh, and by the way, if you find a blue round pill with the same markings except instead of 214 it will say 215, it is a 30 mg Oxycodone, which obviously is double your normal dose. ## That is correct, the A 214 tablets also contain 15mgs of Oxycodone, the active ingredient in Roxicodone, a narcotic analgesic.
