I had been sick for some time with a really bad sinus infection and massive headaches. My wife is a medical doctor so she gave me some pills the night before I went back to work. I didn't know what they were and assumed it was some antibiotics and a few aleave so I just took them. The next day I get a surprise drug test at work. I tell my wife about it and she tells me she gave me an oxycodone she had left over from one of her prescriptions. I freak out and notifiy my job about what happened. They reply since I didn't have a prescription for the oxycodone i'm in trouble.... Now my work has me on standby to decide what is going to happen since now I failed a drug test. YES!,I WANTED TO KNOW,THE PILLS R SMALLER THEN THEOXYCODONE/APAP5-325MG,THAT I USUALLY TAKE,IS THAT MEAN THAT IT WONT BE STRONG ENOUGH TO TAKE CARE OF MY PAIN SINCE ITS SMALL? ## The difference between them is that this one doesn't contain the added the Acetaminophen, which helps the Oxycodone work better, the one marked K18 only contains 5mgs of Oxycodone. It may help with your pain, but without the Acetaminophen it may not work as well for you, the only way to find out is to try it. And the size of pill really has nothing to do with what's in it or how well it will work. Manufacturers use many fillers and binders in their pills, so some are much larger than they have be, without containing any more active ingredients. Do certain country's still get the real OC if so which ones and can someone just book a round trip plane ticket and take their US script and get it filled and return to the states without any problems? Thanks ## No, you wouldn't find the original tablets with the OC marking, unless someone happened to have a stock left-over, because Purdue has stopped manufacturing them. Some countries do have generics available, unlike the U.S. The problem you would run into, however, stems from the drug importation laws. If you are in a foreign country and a medication was prescribed there, you can bring in up to a 3 month supply. They are approximately 1/4" long, 3/16" in width when laid flat on a ruler and are clear with no markings on them at all. The powder inside is baby blue. It is a capsule and half is white and the other half is a tan color. If anybody has an image or can tell me what it is I would greatly appreciate it! ## Are there any markings on the capsule? I have some pills that I've found from a old script. I know that they are generic percocets (oxycodone) but I don't know if they are 5/325 or 10/325. 5 or 10mg. they are round white tablets with a line thru one side and Watson 932 on the other. when to prescrbe oxycotton ## from oxycodone to oxycotten ## Oxycodone is prescirbed for severe pain. Most times here in Texas you usually have to go to a pain management clinic as most M.D's are reluctant to prescribe it due to the bad reputation is has and the deaths related to it attributed to the drug abusers addicted to it and abusing it. Your best be is a pain management but watch you step there. They follow very strict guidelines. There has been alot of controversity surrounding this medication and its interaction with other meds. Small round pill with B and an arrow logo then a T, no marking on other side ## I've tried searching for this in our various resources, but I am not finding a listing for this. The arrow logo makes me suspicious that it's an over the counter product of some type. Was it found in the U.S.? ## This was found in a pill bottle with Oxycodone. I had my foot impaled by a forklift blade in 2007. I almost lost my foot. Four surgeries including nerve and skin grafting from multiple graft sites. My dr to this day has me on a 5mg oxy dosage and will not budge. Yet I know someone who gets 225 oxychodone 30 mg every two weeks for a VERY trumped up injury. This is Bs. Sorry just venting. Cold as hell in Maine. ## No problem, venting is freely allowed, we get many posts of such a nature. There are many people who get such prescriptions for invalid reasons and it is very unfair to those that actually need them. I've been getting my scripts filled at my local CVS for over a year, and now they tell me they might not get them anymore. All the other pharmacies I've tried that have them in stock, they charge 4.45 per pill! That would be over $700 for me!
